Living With My Lady Boss - Season 11 Episode 70
The Special Forces officers raised their weapons at once, pointing them at Wilbur.
Even the snipers and bazookas were ready to fire.
Just then, an authoritative voice rang from the door. “Stop! Stop it right now!”
A thin man who looked to be in his fifties burst into the banquet hall, followed by a group of people.
Hugh flew into a rage. “Who the f*ck let you in? Get the f*ck out!”
“What a temper you seem to be in today, Hugh,” the man said, making his way over to the stage.
It was only then that Hugh turned around.
The sight was enough to scare him witless.
Hugh scrambled over to the man, his expression turning into one of utmost respect. “Mister Forsythe! What are you doing here?”
The man was none other than Marc Forsythe, the person in charge of Exodus Province.
“Everyone here might end up dead if I took any longer to get here,” Marc said coldly.

Hugh’s chest lurched at the words. How did Marc know what was happening here, and even showed up himself?
It was important that Marc could not know about some things that had happened here.
With how things had escalated, they would not be easy to take care of with Marc here.
Just then, Vale, Chancy, and Laurent snapped out of their stupor and hurried over to pay their respects as well.
As the top businessmen in Exodus Province, all three of them obviously knew who Marc was, but could hardly consider themselves friends with him.
Marc paid them no mind, however, and the three men flushed awkwardly at the coldness.
Hugh scrambled to say, “Mister Forsythe, we were in the middle of officiating the Exodus Business Chamber Alliance when these guys showed up trying to start trouble. They’ve even wounded a number of our men, killing two of them as well. I had no choice but to call for Special Forces to take care of this.”
Hugh rushed to explain the situation, desperate to make his stance known.

They were still part of the government, and Hugh had a provincial position. Even if Marc knew there was something fishy going on, he would at the very least give Hugh enough grace to get everyone out of this.
Hugh would just have to compensate for this with something in the future. Stuff like this happened all the time.
Vale and the others hurried to call out in agreement as well, blaming everything on Ryder and Wilbur.

These people were certain that Marc was only here because of Hugh, or to bear down on Wilbur and Ryder using Marc’s power.
As long as they were respectful enough to Marc and put him on a high enough pedestal, nothing bad could come out of this.
The very next second, however, Marc walked over to Wilbur and stretched out his right hand. “I’m so sorry that something like this happened, Mister Penn. It’s all because of my own incompetence, and I apologize for that.”
The sight shocked everyone in the room.
Why was Marc the one apologizing here, and to this guy too?
Hugh looked nothing but confused, as did Vale and the others.
The other businessmen in the room were all the more dazed. What was
happening here, and why was Marc Forsythe showing such respect to this guy? Who was he?
Just then, Wilbur shook Marc’s hand and said, “I should be apologizing for making you come all this way.”
“No, of course not! It’s my duty to be here.”
Marc had barely slept the night before.
Ryder Litwing from the Department of Paranormal Research and Defense had come looking for him.
He had told Marc about what happened to Wesley’s family and expressed that he was here because Exodus Province had a huge problem that required the department’s help. Ryder also said that he was going to meet up with some people in Exodus Province to handle the aforementioned problem.
Marc knew at once that this was no small issue.
