Living With My Lady Boss - Season 11 Episode 65
The stout man let out a cry, and a spirit knife appeared in his grasp as he swung it over in Ryder’s direction.
Ryder ducked, swinging his dagger across the man’s waist.
The stout man let out a cry of agony, collapsing to the ground slowly.
Ryder flipped around then, sending out a few kicks until the remaining bodyguards were all on the ground before he returned to his seat.
Within just a minute, Ryder had completely taken down all the bodyguards, seemingly without breaking a sweat.
It was important to note that Ryder was at peak Ambience level and had undergone the gruesome training to be on the combat team of the Department of Paranormal Research and Defense. His combat skills were definitely the top of his peers, let alone these little nobodies.
The sight truly left Vale and the others dumbstruck.
Everyone stared at the gaping wound at the stout man’s waist and the blood gushing out, unable to believe their eyes.
Just then, Wilbur got to his feet and went on the stage.
Ryder followed behind him, with a shaky Wesley in tow.

Under dazed stares, Wilbur took the microphone before looking around him coldly.
“Ladies and gentlemen. Your business chamber alliance does not concern me, but I will not stand for using such cruel, ruthless ways to take everything from someone weaker and drive his parents to death. I’m here to get revenge for none other than Wesley Miller. If Vale Yoma compensates Wesley according to what I’ve requested, I’ll let this slide. Otherwise, he shall suffer the same fate as Wesley’s parents did.”
Wilbur’s words were pretty much a direct threat to Vale’s safety now.
Everyone else flared up in a fit of rage, but the sight of all the bodyguards on the floor deterred them from speaking up.
Just then, Hugh Cliffson, the person in charge of Dansun City, turned to his assistant with an ashen expression. “Get the Special Forces here. Make sure they come armed and surround the entire place. No one is leaving.”
“Yes, sir.” The assistant hurried off to make the call at once.
Jan Hayes, the Kiwanis Chamber of Commerce representative, glowered at Ryder with mild interest.
Just then, Vale and the others came up to Hugh and Jan’s table as they stared at both men with fearful looks in their eyes.

Hugh frowned. “What are you looking so scared for? They assaulted someone in public, do you think they’re getting away with that?”
The words instantly boosted the three men’s courage, and Vale turned back to Wilbur viciously. “You’re going to pay for attacking so many people here, young man.”
“We were just defending ourselves! You, Vale Yoma, on the other hand, plotted against an entire family to take everything they owned from them, and even caused two deaths. What’s going to be done about that?” Wilbur asked.
Everyone was currently looking at Wilbur in disbelief.
Even if this man was a good fighter, he was definitely not in the right mind with the
way he was openly provoking someone with government officials present.
With how cocky Wilbur was being, he sure was going to be sorry later.
Vale merely scoffed. “Ridiculous. I went about all of this through legal business practices. The death of Wesley Miller’s parents has nothing to do with me! You’re better off thinking about how you’re going to get out of this.”
“Did I mention anything about Wesley’s parents being the two deaths? Is that your guilty conscience talking?” Wilbur mocked.
Vale turned pale and was rendered speechless.
Just then, Jan spoke up with a frown, “What’s going on here? How is someone causing trouble at a place like this?”
“This man’s out of his mind, Mister Hayes. We’re calling for armed backup to take care of this right now. There’s nothing you need to worry about,” Laurent hurried to say.
Dani shouted then, “Ladies and gentlemen, this man is spouting absolute lies! Miller Corp’s demise happened because of Wesley Miller’s own incompetence, and he’s just being a sore loser! Pay these people no mind, please.”
A few members of the crowd nodded at once, casting looks of disdain at Wesley.
Wesley was trembling with rage, his face drained of color as his chest heaved.
Wilbur’s expression darkened at once. “I don’t hit women who can’t fight. Slap her for me, Ryder.”
