Living With My Lady Boss - Season 11 Episode 61
Everyone else in the room got to their feet at once, bursting into loud applause.
A short while later, the emcee emerged from the VIP waiting room with two middle-aged men in tow as well as their assistants.
Both men made their way over to the podium, all while respecting each other’s space.
“Please do say a few words to everyone here, Mister Cliffson,” Vale said to a fat, middle-aged man in black-rimmed glasses with a smile.
Huge Cliffson smiled. “Mister Hayes came all this way. Why don’t we have him speak first?”
Next to him, a tall skinny man smiled as well. “It’s fine. You’re the host here. You should go first.”
Both men wheedled for a while more before Hugh finally let out a chuckle and made his way over to the microphone.
“Everyone here is undoubtedly an elite member of the Exodus Province business industry, so I won’t waste your precious time. On behalf of the Exodus Business Chamber Alliance, I’m sure that working with the Kiwanis Chamber of Commerce will yield great results in terms of development for all of Exodus Province, and I sincerely wish the best for everyone. Keep up the good work, and we will only prosper from here on out!”
The crowd clapped and cheered, and Hugh gestured for Jan to take the stage politely.

Jan smiled, then went up to the microphone. “Thank you for all your hard work. I’m sure you all know that the Kiwanis Chamber of Commerce is the best in all of Dasha, with peerless connections and resources. Your choice to work with us is definitely an invaluable addition to our chamber, and our collaboration will bring all of you remarkable benefits as well. Let’s all work together and strive for a better tomorrow!”
The cheers were practically deafening.
The man was a representative of the Kiwanis Chamber of Commerce, holding an even higher position than Hugh.
It was important to note that a person in charge of a province was hardly comparable to someone from the Kiwanis Chamber of Commerce, and everyone in that room knew that.
Even Hugh knew that himself, and thus clapped even louder than anyone else.
As the person in charge of the chamber, it was the first big thing he had achieved for himself, thus he was overjoyed.
Everyone was overwhelmed with excitement, lost in glee and joy. It was important to note that this meant they now had the chance to expand beyond Exodus Province, even beyond the nation itself. This was truly a remarkable moment.
Just then, Dani came over to Wilbur’s table with her two bodyguards and sat down with a smile. “So? How do you feel about that?”
The banquet was attended by all the most powerful businessmen in all of Exodus Province, as well as the provincial person in charge and even someone from the Kiwanis Chamber of Commerce.

It was the first time something like this had happened on such a big scale, and it definitely rocked everyone to their core.

Even Dani herself was overwhelmed with emotion, hardly able to contain her excitement over being a part of something so special.
To Dani, people like Wesley and the others were insignificant trash.
If an event like this was enough to shock them to their core, it just showed how little they were worth, which meant they should give up on trying anything unrealistic.
Wesley was enraged at the sight of Dani’s arrogant expression, but he did not dare to say a word.
Everyone else sitting in this banquet hall was more than capable of screwing him over big time to the point of no return, even making him vanish from the face of the earth.
Wesley would even be going back on his word and chickening out now if Wilbur had not been there.
The people in this room working together were already a terrifying, untouchable force.
On top of that, they now had the support of the Kiwanis Chamber of Commerce.
That would only make them even more terrifying, with a huge level of influence in the national business industry.
Just then, Wilbur looked up at Dani and said, “It is pretty impressive, I can admit that. It’s just a shame that even with your best work, you will never truly be able to hide how ugly you people are, and what a bunch of bloodsuckers you are at your core. So, why bother to make yourselves look so high and mighty?”
“What did you just say?” Dani’s expression darkened at once.
Wilbur chuckled. “This is the most obvious case of abusing your power to prey on the weak. Draining them of all they have and driving them to death, and you still have the nerve to act all high and mighty! You even dared to consider yourselves upper-class. I might just throw up.”
“Do you even know where you are right now? Listen up. Every single person sitting here could get you killed any second!” Dani said, her voice impossibly cold.
