Living With My Lady Boss - Season 10 Episode 39
Wilbur looked displeased.
Suddenly, a man with a wide-stride walk came over with his secretary.
“What’s going on?” asked the man while frowning. He had an authoritative tone.
“I don’t know where this guy came from, Chief Law. I can’t believe he dared to get
in your way. How mannerless of him,” said the middle-aged man.
The man with the authoritative tone glanced at Wilbur, then he looked at the elevator.
It was clear that he did not want to argue with Wilbur.
Wilbur scoffed coldly and shook his head.
The middle-aged man yelled, “What do you mean by that, dude? Do you know who he is?”
“Who is he? Is he someone awesome?” asked Wilbur sarcastically.
The middle-aged man scoffed coldly and replied, “This is Mister Chagu Law, the chief of the Seechertown Commerce Department. Why don’t you get lost and make way, eh?”
“Oh wow, I’m so scared,” said Wilbur sarcastically.
His attitude made the middle-aged man furious and was just about to scold Wilbur.
However, Chagu frowned and said, “Mister Lonare, don’t waste time on someone like him. We have business to attend to.”
Mister Lonare scoffed coldly and let it go.

Wilbur chuckled to himself. ‘Chief Law and Mister Lonare, eh? How f*cking interesting,’ he thought.
The elevator door opened. Mister Lonare bowed and gestured for Chagu to head inside.
They went inside the elevator with their subordinates, and then Wilbur followed inside too.
Mister Lonare instantly huffed angrily, “Dude, get out of here! Who are you to ride the elevator with us?”
“Just how important do you think you are? Why can’t I ride the elevator if you can?” asked Wilbur while looking straight at Mister Lonare.
Mister Lonare scoffed and said, “I’m the CEO of Seazer’s Lonare Corp. I invited Chief Law to discuss a billion-dollar deal! Do you think you deserve to ride the elevator with us?”
Mister Lonare looked down on Wilbur smugly.
Wilbur was entertained by that, so he laughed out loud.
Seazer was not far from Seechertown. It was a small city that belonged to Kardon Province. Their economy was not developed.
It seemed like Mister Lonare wanted to join forces in Seechertown, so he relied on Chagu.
He discriminated against Wilbur to make himself look better.

Wilbur wondered how he got rich in the first place with a bad personality and morale like that.
Wilbur assumed he got rich all of a sudden, and that he had the money, but not the personality.
The elevator door slowly closed.
Chagu frowned and said, “Forget it. We have business to attend to.”

Mister Lonare scoffed and stopped picking on Wilbur.
Wilbur said nonchalantly, “I don’t think your deal will go through.”
“Watch your mouth! Who do you think you are? How dare you speak to us so rudely!” asked Mister Lonare angrily.
Chagu also looked at Wilbur, then sized him up carefully.
He was dressed casually, and his outfit probably cost less than a thousand dollars.
Chagu looked at his own wrist. He had a watch worth two hundred thousand dollars. He said nonchalantly, “That’s enough, Quill. Don’t argue with someone like him. You’re someone with status, so watch your behavior.”
Chagu seemed to be criticizing Quill Lonare, but his tone and gaze were full of discrimination against Wilbur.
He was used to being someone authoritative. His words seemed fine, but his passive aggressiveness was through the roof.
Quill Lonare hurriedly nodded when he heard that, and he said, “Yes, you’re right, Chief Law.”
Then, he glanced at Wilbur contemptuously and did not speak anymore.
Wilbur was displeased.
‘Are they being condescending?’ Wilbur wondered.
The elevator door opened, and they arrived at a restaurant.
Chau and Quill left with their subordinates, and Wilbur also exited the elevator.
Chagu and Quill went straight toward a reserved room.
Wilbur walked slowly and watched them enter room number 666.
He smiled faintly and proceeded forward.
He arrived in front of a door after a moment.
Two powerful-looking men in suits stopped Wilbur and said, “Sorry, this room is reserved.”
