Sophia smiled and rubbed his cheek fondly.

“I know, but you should wait here for maybe two more days, you need to heal first” Sophie said.

” I’m fine I swear it, just please let me go to Washington tommorow mum” he said gently.

Sophia held his hands and rubbed them in hers.

“I can’t say no” she said she he smiled widely.

“I love you mum” he said

“I love you more honey” she replied and Nora showed up on his other side.

“Hey crybaby” he said and Nora hugged him.

“I was so scared that I passed out, I thought you really left me and…I almost died” she pouted and Seth smiled.

” Leave you?, Impossible” he replied, pecking her.

“Don’t scare us anymore, stay for real this time” she said.

” Sure, I’m not gonna scare you guys anymore” he smiled and Nora hugged him again.

” So the first thing you remembered after waking up from a week coma was her lips, you’re something else” Rowen said and Seth quickly sat up.

” I’ve been sleeping for a week?” He said.

“Of course dummy” Blaine said.

He looked their way and his face lit up with smiles when he saw them.

“Guys!” He said happily.

” By the way you’ll pay for all the worries you made us pass through” Hardin said.

” Welcome back to Earth” Nadia smiled.

” I can’t believe you guys are all here” he said and Rowen walked to him.

” Jerk, I missed you” he said , hugging him after that.

Seth smiled and hugged him back tightly.

They all took turns to hug him and althrough, he kept smiling happily.

“I wanna go home” he suddenly said.

“Why?, You need to rest for tonight at least” Sophia said.

” I’ll rest at home, the doctor can come for home treatment before my flight tommorow” he replied.

“Mum I’m ok, if I’m not ok I won’t be saying I wanna go home” he said simply and Sophia sighed.

” You grew up more stubborn” she said and everyone laughed.

” I love you mum” he winked and Sophia smiled.

“Glad I have an handsome honey” she said, picking her phone to make a call.

She ordered the maids to decorate the mansion and make special meals to celebrate his homecoming that night.

“Can we go now?” He asked after the call.

“Ten minutes from now” she replied.

“Ok mum” he smiled.

“You don’t feel pains on your tummy anymore?” Rowen asked.

“Just a little” he replied, touching it slightly.

” Can’t imagine how happy baby fire will be when she sees you” Nadia said.

” I really can’t, and I’ve missed her too” Jacinthe said.

“Are you guys flying to Washington with me tomorrow?” Seth asked.

” Of course” everyone chorused.

“I can’t miss your reunion with cat eyes for the world” Rowen said.

“Me too” Jacinthe said and Seth smiled. His head is filled with Sapphire right now…only her.

“I wonder how she’d have turned out, but no matter what, I still love her so far she’s my pretty” Seth said.

” Aww, cute” Nora said and they laughed again.

” When is the winter break ending?” Seth asked.

“January…did you leave your brain in the land of the dead?” Rowen said and the guys laughed.

” What’s today’s date?” Seth asked.

” December 12, 2025″ Nora replied.

” Oh…I get it, Christmas is just two weeks away” he smiled, thinking about spending it with Sapphire.

” I know what you’re thinking about” Rowen said.

” Dude can you just stay out of my thoughts?” Seth said.

” I don’t want to” Rowen said.

“No I don’t, I didn’t plan to die young” Rowen glared .

” I love you” Rowen said and Seth’s words got stuck in his throat, everyone laughed again.

“Are you gay or something?” Seth said

“I can turn gay cos of you honey” Rowen replied in Sophia’s voice.

“He’s crazy” Nora laughed

Sophia can’t help but laugh too.

” Psycho” Seth laughed and Rowen roughed his hair.

“I’ll kill you once all these is over” Seth said.

” Patiently waiting to be killed by you” Rowen winked and they laughed again.

” Ok guys, time to go home” Sophia said.

“Are you really taking him home Mrs Langford?” The head doctor asked, coming in

” Yes doctor, I just need to do it for him, I’ll make sure he avoids noises and stress, you can come for home treatment before his flight tomorrow right?” Sophia asked.

” Of course, caution, treat him with care” he replied.

” Sure” Sophia replied and the doctor started his discharge.

The Langford’s mansion**

” Whoa!” Nadia said loudly when she entered with the guys, her eyes were wide opened.

“Surprised?” Rowen said beside her and she only ignored him

Since he said he f*vked Petra, she has been ignoring him

“Hey stop being a bore” he said and grabbed her hand but she took it roughly.

” F*ck off” she glared and walked faster to be ahead

Rowen laughed and Hardin hit him.

“She likes you but you always like being a jerk, why crack that expensive joke when you didn’t even f*ck Petra” he said

” I cracked the joke to see this side of her” Rowen said and rubbed his chin as if to pull out beards.

“Bastard” Hardin giggled and Rowen got a buzz on his phone.

“It’s Roger, he’s traveling to Scotland tommorow with his dad” he said

” Really?, Though you said his dad is a knitter” Hardin said

” I sponsored it” Rowen said and Hardin smiled.

“This is more beautiful than what I do see in pictures” Jacinthe said, looking at the breathtaking magnificent mansion.

It’s nighttime so the golden shinning lights are everywhere, it’s too beautiful.

“Gosh” she said again and someone suddenly held her hand, she looked that way and saw Blaine.

She smiled widely and he interlocked their fingers before kissing it.

“It’s so beautiful right?” He said, looking at the house too.

” I know right?, Seth will have a lot to take over in the future” she replied.

” Yeah, this is much” Blaine said.

“I should have figured it out when you told me you weren’t allowed to keep friends” Clark said, walking behind Nora.

“There’s no way you’d have figured out … But it’s over now, I can’t wait for winter break to be over in January, I’ll have a lot of friends in school, I’ll go wherever I like and have my privacy” she smiled.

” It’s the best” Clark replied and Nora kept staring, falling more and more into his charm.

“Clark” she suddenly said

“Hmm” he replied, looking at her.

“You’re very handsome” she said shyly and he smiled.

“Thanks…you look cute everyday” he replied and that made her blush.

” My hair down or up, which looks cuter?” She asked.

” Down” he replied and her heart fluttered.

“Yeah, though you look good in a ponytail too but I can’t help but notice you look more beautiful with your hair down” he replied.

” Then I’ll always leave my hair down…. and you, slightly brown hair fits you more” she said.

” Then I guess I’ll use that colour often, thanks” he said, touching her hair gently.

Her heart almost bursted as he did that and she absolutely loves the feelings.

“Are those two something?” Sophia asked…she’s actually walking with Seth.

” Nora and Clark?, Nora likes him but I’m not sure about Clark but Nora is lovable, he’ll like her eventually” he replied and Sophia smiled

” She was seven when I almost got killed, now my angel is fifteen and now falling in love, I feel good” she said, holding Micheal more tightly.

“You look so beautiful mum, I mean it…you and Sonia might be twin and you surely look the same but trust me the beauty is not the same, you look much younger, your skin is fresher and more fragile, you’re more pretty” he whispered and Sophia giggled.

” You’re so sweet, thanks honey” she smiled.

They finally got into the house and confetti’s fell on Seth by the door, greeting him happy homecoming

HAPPY HOMECOMING was written boldly on the wall and the big wide living room and dinning has been beautifully decorated, the dinning table is full of different meals and cocktails, looking so appetizing

The aroma of the food is killing.

“F*ck… this smells good” Rowen inhaled.

The maids came out with a slightly large cake with burning candles on top, singing as they advanced.

They were about to do that when someone came in.

“Aunt Josephine!” Nora exclaimed, rushing to hug her immediately.

“I missed you” Josephine said, hugging Nora tight.

” Where have you been, you didn’t check on us” Nora said and Josephine broke it.

” I came, but Sonia ordered the guards not to let me in, I came three times” she replied.

” Good to see you again” Sophia said.

” Sophia” she said and hugged her too.

” Thanks for staying alive, you’re the best and strongest mum in the world’ Josephine said.

“Thanks for not siding with the devil” Sophia said when they broke the hug

She hugged Seth and he smiled.

“Thanks for standing by me in WSU, you’re the best aunt” Seth said .

“Thanks for surviving, I should have come last week but… I was in the middle of a project and my manager found no chance to cancel” she said

” It’s ok….guys meet my aunt..” Seth said and faced the guys

They all have shocked looks on their faces

“Josephine Langford!” Jacinthe screamed.

“Whoa!, You guys are related, so we met again” Rowen said surprisingly too

” The guys from WSU?” Josephine said.

” Gosh!, She remembers” Nadia said happily

” Yeah, it was memorable” she replied.

“The way you ran out after Seth that day, I knew it was suspectable” Hardin said

” Can’t believe I’ll be eating dinner with a celebrity tonight” Clark said.

“Heard the the indoors shoot for your movie is over, the real one is starting next semester” she said.

” Let’s eat before it gets cold” Sophia said and they all sat round the big long rectangular dinning table.

“Yummy” Seth said, eating slowly

“You like it?” Sophia asked

“Yeah” he replied.

They ate and drank for minutes before starting to chat.

Nadia poured herself a drink and walked to the small balcony beside the kitchen.

She drank slowly while thinking about what Rowen said the other time about f*cking Petra.

Yeah it’s disturbing, it has been disturbing since he said it , her head won’t just leave the sentence.

She drank from her wine again and sighed then Rowen appeared beside her, looking at her naughtily.

“I came here cos I didn’t want to see your face so do me a favor and leave” she glared and drank.

” Hey why are you being cranky these days?, Are you in your time of the month?, Heard girls get cranky when it’s their time of the month” he said with that annoying smile.

” D*ckhead” she said and started going in.

“If you’re being like this because of Petra, I was pulling everyone’s leg that day but you didn’t even stay to hear it all, I didn’t f*ck her I swear” he said and she stopped.

She stood for a while before looking at him. “You have no reason to explain to me” she said and went in.

“Damn, why is she doing this to me” Rowen said.

Nadia went straight to Jacinthe when she got in, she dropped her cup on the table.

“What did Rowen say that day when I ran upstairs after choking on my drink?” She asked

” He said he didn’t f*ck Petra, he was just trying to be silly” Jacinthe replied

” Sure”

Nadia smiled widely and Blaine took Jacinthe away.

“Where are we going to?” She asked.

He never replied till they got to a corridor and he stopped to face her.

“I’ve been waiting for all these to end before I’ll say what I have in mind, and now it finally ended” he said.

” What?” She asked nervously, resting on the wall.

“Will you date me?” He asked simply.

“Why?” She asked, her heart is at the verge or jumping out of her chest at how hard it’s thudding.

“Cos I love you” he replied and her lips formed into a wide smile.

” How do you feel about me?” He whispered.

“I feel….. like tasting your lips” she replied naughtily and pulled her closer.

She winked before kissing him hard, he responded immediately, rubbing his hands on her body.

Next day**

The private plane started it’s journey to Washington very early

Josephine, Sophia and Nora even went with them…to witness the sweet reunion…

Petra felt the house is suffocating and decided to go out for some air…

She has refused to talk to her foster mum and dad since it happened, she has always been quiet.

Now she realizes how bad she is, she realizes she’s a devil just like Sonia…her mum.

She’s the main cause of Carlos death and she feels so guilty.

She left the house, covering her head with hood as she walked down the road but that didn’t help.

Washington… 2:30pm**

Sapphire has been waiting with her mum for over ten minutes at the airport without knowing why they’re here, Julia just told her they’re here to meet someone.

“It’s been ten minutes since we’ve been waiting” she said and Julia held her hand.

She improved a lot, maybe cos she slept well last night, her hands aren’t shaking anymore.

“He’ll be here soon” Julia said

“He?” Sapphire said surprisingly.

” Yeah, don’t be too shocked” Julia replied.

“Here they are” Julia smiled when the plane landed.

Sapphire moved her eyes to the plane and watched carefully.

Nothing happened for the first three minutes but after three minutes, Nora came down from the plane first.

Nora was smiling as she came down with her gaze fixed on Sapphire.

Josephine came out next though she was masked but Sapphire felt like she has seen her before.

Jacinthe and Nadia came out at a time and Sapphire swallowed hard.

It was Clark and Blaine next, Clark took off his glasses and winked at her.

Rowen and Hardin came down after that and she swallowed nothing again.
