Same night, New York**

Sophia got really worried when she came back from work and Nora didn’t come to welcome her like she’d do.

Once she’s back from work, she’ll always rush downstairs and hug her before starting questions about how her day went but today, it was different.

She gave it a second thought that maybe she’s busy writing her assignments so she went in and changed into a comfortable gown

While changing, she got a message from Mr Bills and when she finished reading it, a smile escaped her lips

*Did you get home already?, I’m thinking of hanging out together tommorow, what do you think?*

“Of course, I love the sound of that…I wanna hang out with you” she said and typed then clicked send before hugging the phone to her chest.

“He’s always so sweet” she smiled happily as she walked out of the room.

She got downstairs and went to the dinning room, expecting to meet Nora there already but her expectations were cut when she didn’t see her there.

“Where’s my angel?” She asked one of the maids.

“She has been in her room since she came back from school, I went upstairs to call her for dinner some minutes ago but she said she’s not interested” the maid replied.

” Not interested?, Is she kidding me?” She said, climbing the stairs.

She went straight to her room and opened the door gently.

Nora is crying!

Sophia’s eyes showed her shock as she entered the room quickly.

“Hey angel, what’s wrong?” She asked quickly.

“When last did you call Micheal?” Nora asked.

“A week ago, and he told me not to call him anytime soon, he said he’d be too busy with the shoots so he won’t be able to pick calls” Sophia replied, wiping her tears

” He’s lying, he’s not busy, he’s hurting” Nora cried more.

” Hurting?, What do you mean?” Sophia asked confusedly.

“Clark told me everything, it seems Sapphire will break up with him” Nora hiccuped.

” What!, Why?”

” He was the cause of Sapphire’s nympho” Nora said

“What are you talking about?”

“I’m not supposed to be telling you this cos he doesn’t even want me to do that but I have to tell you right now mum…when Sonia was impersonating you…. Michael joined a group of gangsters called HELL BOYS”

” The hell!” Sophia’s eyes widened more.

” He joined out of frustration, he was frustrated cos of Sonia’s behavior and needed a place to pour his frustration on…, he joined and after some months, something happened one night” she cried.

Sophia held her face, urgency dancing around her brows.

“Angel tell me everything…I want to know everything” she said.

Nora hiccuped before starting the story and when she was done, Sophia almost fainted.

“All these happened to my…my son and I… didn’t know?” she said, crying already too.

” I wanted to tell you but he told me never to…but now that he’s like this I had no choice, please do something, don’t let Sapphire leave him… don’t let them break up Michael won’t survive it I can assure you, I personally know he can’t live without her, he’s already a nuisance, Clark said he drinks and smokes already , he might go insane I don’t want that, please bring them back together” she pleaded amidst tears.

Sophia wiped her tears and stood though another round rushed down her cheek.

“I must reach Washington tommorow morning, tommorow morning I must….I need to call Julia” she said and rushed out of the room.

She went downstairs and got her phone, she was about to dial Julia’s line when Mr Bills came in without knocking.

“Mr Bills” she said.

He was shocked to see the tears on his face so he stopped for a while before coming to her.

He hugged her and she continued crying.

“We’ll find him I can assure you, those who did that can’t escape, we’ll surely find Michael, so don’t cry anymore” he consoled.

She quickly broke the hug and faced him.

“What are you talking about?” She asked confusedly.

” You didn’t hear about it?, Then why are you crying?” He said.

” Hear about what?” She said and he slowly unlocked his phone before giving it to her.

The news is everywhere.. “The only heir to Langford conglomerates, Micheal Langford went missing two hours ago…news coming from Washington”

” No it’s not true…. it’s not true!!” She screamed.

” It’s surely Reno and Lila, the beasts I told you about” Nora said from the stairs.

” Nothing must happen to Michael,I mean…a scratch must not appear on his body…not my honey…not my son” Sophia cried.

” Rowen told me they’ve been searching for him and the cops are searching everywhere place in Washington” Mr Bills said.

Sophia took her phone again with shaky hands and contacted the leader of the search team in Washington.

“Madam” the voice said.

“How many new members got recruited?” She asked

“Over seventy ma’am,plus the initial members, we’re currently close to 200 at the base right now” the voice replied.

” If you’d have to recruit more I don’t care!, just find my son before dawn!, Find Michael for me!” She shouted

” We’ll obey your orders ma’am”

Sophia hung up and sat dejectedly on one of the dinning chairs.

Nora sat on the stairs sadly.

Mr Bills went to Nora and sat beside her, he touched her shoulder and she looked at him with her teary eyes.

“Nothing will happen to Michael” he said.

“I’m scared” she replied slowly.

” I’m assuring you” he replied and she nodded.

He hugged her fondly.

Washington, next day**

Rowen came out of the maybe two hundredth street they’ve searched with the cops and exhaled loudly.

The cops and the search team didn’t sleep at night, they were all-over the city, searching for Michael Langford so he and the rest of the guys didn’t sleep too, they stayed and searched with them while the girls stayed with Sapphire.

They found his phone at a bar he frequents last night but no useful information on it though it’s glaring that Hazel and Reno are at work.

Dr Woods has been contacted and the old doctor cried a lot, thinking he made a wrong choice when choosing Hazel as his only child.

“If I can just get my hands on those two, I won’t mind going to jail, I swear it I’ll kill them” Rowen said angrily.

” I feel the same” Hardin said.

“I don’t wanna imagine what they’ll do to him, will they torture him?, I don’t want to think about it” Clark said.

” Torture?, Torture Michael?, You don’t know how he is?, He’ll probably beat them up” Blaine said.

” That’s not making sense, he’s not someone to be captured that easily and the fact that he got captured in a bar only means he was drunk and vulnerable so his vulnerability was used against him..oh Michael” Rowen said.

” I’m seriously confused, are they even in Washington?, Their coven is empty too, where the f*ck are they” Hardin said .

” They’ll be somewhere secretive, we don’t even have a lead, but if the search continues, they’ll be found I’m sure” Blaine said.

” Madam Sophia should have landed by now” Clark said.

“Yes, she’s coming with my dad and Nora” Rowen replied.

“Let’s move” Hardin said and they got in their car, following the cops behind.

A secret hideout**.

The house is big but almost in ruins, if only a slight heavy breeze could blow, it’ll fall devastatingly.

It’s in the middle of a forest, far from the city.

Micheal opened his eyes slowly and when he saw his environment, he tried sitting up but he was tied, no chance.

His hands and legs were tied tightly.

“Where the f*ck am I!” He shouted, remembering he was supposed to be in the bar, drinking.

His head felt wobbly and he squeezed up his face.

“Where am I and who the hell tied me up!” He yelled and started coughing.

He’s really not tolerant to cold cos his bronchial tubes get inflammated easily so he started becoming weak as flu started getting the best of him.

The ground is so cold and unbearable.

“Who’s here!” He screamed with a shaky voice and coughed again, shaking badly already.

Then he started hearing footsteps coming his way, he stared at the door impatiently and when it opened, Reno came in.

Micheal’s eyes widened immediately, Lila followed him.

“You…you…two” he stammered and coughed again.

” Michael the f*cker” Lila said and Reno laughed wickedly.

” The whole world is going crazy, searching for you…your mum has got crazy connections I swear, thankfully we got this place, it’ll take long before they discover this place, you’ll be gone by then” Reno said and bent beside him.

” After all you did to me two years ago, you still went this far?, I did nothing wrong to you Reno” Micheal said and Reno smirked.

” Oh, you’re shaking, you caught the flu I guess” Lila laughed.

” He’s not tolerant to it, it’s really fun to see you shake, you might as well shake till death” Reno scowled.

” I did nothing to you” Michael said

“The fact that you f*cked Sapphire that night instead of me and the other HELL BOYS was your first sin, and the fact that you went ahead to date that same girl was your second sin, punching me in the lawn was your third mistake, no one punches me and you know it, I’ll make sure to blow you up” Reno said.

” I promise you that you’ll die earlier than you think” Michael said and Reno laughed.

” Bring it on, you’re powerless now anyways, I’m just full of pity for the ones who’re searching for you, they’ll never find you cos once I get the chance to bring that girl here and f*ck her while you watch, I’ll kill you both” Reno said.

” He’s telling the truth bro, so enjoy your last day on Earth” Lila smiled.

” Hazel…. I think you should be telling that to yourself” Michael replied boldly.

He vomited blood and his shaking increased.

“Sapphire.. please don’t get caught” he whispered.

The Hunt’s house**

“Is she still crying?” Julia said, coming out of the kitchen with grapes on a flat plate for Sapphire.

Sapphire was sitting on a chair, her legs on the chair too, she rested her chin on her knees and cried slowly.

Since he went missing last night, that’s what she has been doing…. crying non-stop and won’t speak.

Julia dropped the grapes on the table in front of her and sat beside her.

“They said he’d be found, don’t be like this and eat these grapes” she said.

” I don’t want to eat” Sapphire replied in a whisper.

“But you’re becoming skinny” Nadia said.

“My boyfriend is missing, isn’t it too irrational to tell me to eat?, I ignored him for a week, if I’ve been talking to him, he won’t have any reason to be in a bar where he got kidnapped, I feel so guilty” she replied slowly too.

” You have every reason to ignore him, what he did to you was bad” Jacinthe said.

” I feel guilty still…he’s the only thing in my head right now, if I don’t see him, food will continue to smell offensively to me” she said and Julia sighed.

Sophia came in with Nora immediately and Julia stood.

“Sophia” she said.

Sophia walked to Sapphire and pulled her up before hugging her.

“Mum” she sniffed.

“I love you very much, you know that right?” Sophia said

” I know” she replied and Sophia patted her back slowly.

” And you know Michael loves you so much” she said.

“Yes” she replied.

“And I’m assuring you that he’d be found, I can’t be this relaxed if I don’t know that” Sophia said.

” I feel so empty, I feel guilty for avoiding him, I’m the reason he got kidnapped, I caused everything” Sapphire cried.

Sophia broke the hug and faced her.

“He deserves your avoidance for what he did,but he didn’t tell you the whole story” Sophia said

” What…is the whole story?” Sapphire asked.

Nora stepped forward and held her hands.

“Michael went through pains cos of you too, I know about everything that actually happened that night cos he told me” she said .

” Tell me” Sapphire said.

” Listen carefully” Nora said.

FLASHBACK; TWO YEARS AGO, JK’S CLUBHOUSE, NEW YORK**

Sapphire was already in tears, everyone else

“So what happened after that?, What happened to my Mich after that?” Sapphire asked.

” He was at the brink of dying cos his head got seriously wounded but the doctors did a lot to save him but..” Nora said

” What?” Sapphire asked impatiently

“He fell into coma, for one year” Nora replied tearfully.

” What!”

” Yes, after he woke up, he behaved insane for a while and almost became deranged but he was saved … He ran away from home and came to Washington where he met you” Nora said.

Sapphire covered her face with her palms and rushed out of the house in bitter tears.

“Follow her, follow her!” Sophia ordered the guards and she was chased.

Sapphire kept crying and running then she got a text,,

*Come save Michael alone, game forest*

She threw away her phone and stopped a cab immediately.

“Game forest Please!” She shouted and the driver moved.
