“Besides, for someone who could afford that amount of dowry, he won’t bother paying for lunch at all,” Megan said. She was not stupid. If Severin was really that rich, he would agree to take them out to eat without any hesitation. However, if he hesitated just a little, it meant he was just stalling the time when he promised to give the dowry. She glared at Severin to monitor his reaction.

“Sure! I have that idea too!” Severin answered.

Unexpectedly, Severin agreed without even giving it a thought and answered indifferently. “Diane’s parent is my parent. Look at how big Selene is now. I haven’t treated all of you to a meal before. Since this is the first time I’m buying lunch, we have to go somewhere classy!”

“Master, should we follow you to protect all of you?” Wendy asked after giving it a thought.

Severin thought about it before answering. “Not this time. We’re just going out for a meal and I’m around. But you have to follow my parent or my wife when they are going out in the future when

I’m not around.”

“Yes, master!” The beautiful women responded by nodding their heads.

“We even have bodyguards protecting us now. I’m still not used to it!” Maurice laughed. The big difference in their life had him wondered he was dreaming.

“Master, since there’s nothing for us to do today. Can the six of us go out shopping? We would like to buy something!” Lillie asked for Severin’s permission.

“Sure. Go do your shopping. It’s alright for you to go out when there’s nothing to do. But under the condition that someone must be protecting my parent’s safety when they go out if I’m not around. Other than that, you are all free to make plans!” This was the answer Severin gave after

consideration.

“Thank you, master!” The six beautiful women exchanged looks with each other and were feeling

glad.

“Sigh. Ever since Diane is no longer General Manager, we don’t even have a car to get around. Do you know how we get here just now? We have to take a cab. How pathetic!” Megan complained.

When they were at the door, Megan looked at the Chevrolet that is parked in the garage. “At least Diane has a cheap car to drive. Look at us. We don’t even have a car…”

She paused and deliberately made things difficult for Severin. “Hey, Severin, what are you guys thinking of? I mean if you can afford the dowry, why don’t you buy an Audi or BMW those cars instead? Isn’t a Chevrolet too low class for people who stay here?”

Once that was said, Felicia’s heart dropped. She was really looking forward to receiving the dowry from Severin. Now that Megan put it that way, she wondered if Severin could really fork out the dowry. If Severin was really that rich, he would have bought a better car.

‘Don’t tell me this little brat is really fooling me!’ she thought.

The more she thought of it the angrier she was. What if Severin was just trying to fool her and got along with them now? Once they could get along together, Diane would have more feelings for me. By then, he could ask Diane to beg us to accept them. It was really hard to say but there was definitely a possibility that it could happen.
