“There is no fucking way in this life I’m going to jump into a swimming pool specifically filled with ice!” Apollo shouted for the tenth time. You guess right, it was Link’s and Phineas’ bachelor eve and the time to execute the plan, but not all the men were happy about it. The moment he knew Apollo was against it and afraid of cold water, he started enjoying it. Anything to make sure he suffers. Apollo narrowed his eyes at him. “What? “Don’t patronize me, Nicky, it won’t work,” Apollo said through gritted teeth. “Cold water scares the life out of my soul so no. Stop being an idiot,” Apollo glared at him, never stopping his screech for one second. I was going to say something when I was pulled back and pressed against someone’s chest. Love, weddings, marriage, a concept I don’t ever want to understand. I cannot understand the people I am surrounded with as a whole. Govern by love, complications, understanding, friendship, they were inseparable. “He needs to go,” I said and we all hummed in agreement, “but how do we get her to stay away from him? She’ll think we are bad and hate us.”

“Let’s tell daddy,” Zayne suggested. Bad idea. We don’t have to rely on him to monitor our sister, we can do this ourselves.

“No, that would make it worse. We need a better plan,” Zyaire said thoughtfully, “but unfortunately, I’m not the thinker in the family so, Zach, you do the thinking.”

“Me? Why?… Ok second thought, scratch that, I have an idea,” I grinned. They both grinned, not knowing the plan but already agreeing. “It’s simple, if we can’t get her to stay away from him, then we get him to stay away from her. “Done! Princess Gabriella at your service!” She saluted. I rolled my eyes.

“Right. How possible is it to get Serenity away from Jameson?”

I couldn’t hear what she was saying from my angle but it sure did drag Serene’s attention, enough for her to not even notice James on the ground. “Phew, that was one hectic day,” Sera exclaimed as she carelessly kicked off her shoes, “I’m so hungry I can’t see a thing, I’m going to see what Chef made, Mom, BRB!” Before I could speak, she was running off. Shaking my head, I turned my attention to Serenity who had been sighing and looking sad for a while now. Did I want to know why? Not exactly. But must I know why? Yes, I’m her mother.

“Boys, please carry yours and your sisters belongings upstairs, wash up and go to bed if you are not hungry. And can someone check on Perry and Katie? Make sure they aren’t starving?”

“I’ll do it,” Zayne chirped and off he went to check on the pets.

“Now, Serenity, may I know why you have been sighing profusely for the last two hours? And don’t lie to me, I’m too tired for that. Are you having a baby?” Her eyes widened while I smiled.

“Ew, no, Mommy, no. It’s just that Jameson and I were talking at the wedding reception, I left with Gabby to be the first to get the extra lychee cake, and when I came in, Jameson said he doesn’t want to be my friend anymore because I come with too much trouble. He said he doesn’t have the power to deal with my army. What does that even mean?” She said, clearly frustrated. I screwed my neck over to Zyaire and Zachary, already knowing they are the reason behind it. Zyaire folded his hands behind his head and whistled innocently while Zach innocently twisted his lips.

“What a coward,” of course, he would understand and support them, “Angel, someone who truly appreciates you would never say such mean words to your face. Boys are stupid and dumb…”

“Except us,” Zach and Zyaire chorused.

“Yes,” Nic nodded in agreement, “except us. We as your brothers and father would never do anything to hurt you because we want the best for you, we’re telling you that right now, you should focus on your studies and music, boys would come later.
