I FALL IN LOVE WITH YOU - EPISODE 9

“Let’s go for lunch, I’m famished”, Steph said.

“Sorry, but I promised Justin lunch today”,

“Seriously”, Steph asked in excitement.

“Yeah”

“How did it happen”, she asked

“During our walk yesterday, he asked me to have lunch with him today but I was scared of what Amanda will do so I told him about how Amanda threatened me and he said if she tries it again I should tell him and I agreed to have lunch with him”, I narrated.

“Woah, the love is getting stronger. And I think you should stay away from Christian’, Steph warned.

“Why should I do that. He’s my friend”

“I know you two are friends but my instinct tells me that this guy will be a threat in the future”, Steph said and Chrysler started laughing.

“I’m not joking and I know my instincts never lie to me”, Steph added.

“What type of threat. I think it’s too much time with White that is making you to say all these”

“I know what I’m saying o. Stay away from him”, Steph repeated.

“I’ve heard”

“Are you not going for lunch or do you plan on keeping Justin waiting”, Steph reminded.

“Oh my God, I almost forgot”, Chrysler ran out of the class to the cafeteria.

She met Justin sitting in one corner and as usual there were murmurs because Justin don’t always eat when other students are in the cafeteria.

I guess I’m the reason he changed his pattern.

Without wasting time, I went to meet him, since he has already ordered for the two of us, I didn’t bother disturbing myself.

“I’m sorry for being late”, I had to apologise.

“Who does she think she is to sit near Justin”, a girl murmured loud enough for Chrysler to hear.

“I feel pity for her, he will just embarrass her like the rest”, another girl chipped in.

There were many strong murmurs as I sat near Justin. I felt bad listening to the side comments and I think Justin must have noticed that.

“Calm down, you will have headache if you keep on listening to them”, Justin said and I smiled faintly.

“Why has she not started crying”, someone asked.

“Maybe Justin is waiting for the right time to punish her”, another said.

They waited but nothing happened. Justin and Chrysler were even laughing together.

Everyone was shocked because they have never seen Justin laugh in public and here he is laughing.

Some people were happy while some were jealous because they are not the reason he’s laughing.

Chrysler too felt happy seeing Justin laugh.

Chrysler decided to ask Justin something that has been bugging her since although she’s not sure he will answer but she has to give it a try.

“So you were saying something”, Justin reminded.

“Oh yeah. Do you really like Amanda”, Chrysler blurted out and she almost regretted asking that question.

Justin was silent for a while before he spoke up.

“I’ll tell you the truth, I don’t. I don’t really believe in love but I think I’m falling in love with a really special person”, Justin said smiling.

Chrysler felt her heart break into pieces. Here she was believing that one day, she and Justin will be together but after what he said, she knows that she will never be with him.

“She must be really special”, Christmas forced a sad smile.

After that, she remained silent, she was no longer laughing like she was doing before. She was even playing with her food at Justin became worried.

“Why are you playing with your food”, Justin asked.

“Nothing, I think I’m full”, Chrysler lied

“But you haven’t even eaten half of the food”, Justin said.

“I don’t eat too much”, Chrysler lied again.

“Okay if you say so”, Justin shrugged.

Chrysler stood up and left the cafeteria as soon as possible.

Steph noticed the look on Chrysler’s face.

“Why’s your face like that. Or did you not enjoy the lunch”, Steph asked.

“He loves another girl”, that was all Chrysler could say.

“What do you mean”, Steph was confused.

“He said he’s falling for someone special. He doesn’t love me, what am I going to do”, Chrysler cried.

Stephanie hugged and her and patted her hair.

“Don’t worry, it’s not the end of the world, you can still make him fall in love with you”, Steph said.

“And how am I going to do that huh”, Chrysler asked.

“Just keep on talking to him all the time and always make him happy and you will see that he will start falling for you”, Steph assured.

” Do you think it will work”, Chrysler asked and Steph nodded.

Unknown to the girls, Christian overheard the whole conversation. He did not plan on eavesdropping but when he saw Chrysler crying, he decided to know why.

“Damn you Justin for making her cry. Why did she even fall in love with you? I know you will give her nothing more than heartbreak. I will make sure I win your love, Chrysler”, Christian swore and stopped eavesdropping.

” How was the lunch”, White teased.

“I’m not ready for your nonsense this afternoon”, Justin said.

” I was trying to look after you”, White pouted.

“I did not ask you to do that”, Justin muttered.

“I won’t be surprised if Chrysler rejects you in the future”, White said under his breath but unluckily, Justin heard and it and glared at White.

“So how was it”, Jayden asked seriously

” It was okay but I think she’s mad at me for something but she doesn’t want me to know”, Justin said.

“Why do you think so”, Jayden asked.

“I told her i was falling in love with a special person and then she lost appetite and left. She said she’s full but something tells me she was lying”, Justin said.

“Are you that dumb”, Jayden said.

“You told her you were falling in love with a special person but you never told her the name so maybe she’s thinking it’s another girl not known it’s her”, Jayden half yelled.

“But I didn’t mean it that way”, Justin said lowly.

“But that was how you made her feel. You have to make things clear to her”, Jayden said.

“I’ll do that tomorrow”, Justin said.

“What’s wrong with Charlie”, Justin asked.

“I don’t know his problem, he’s been quiet since”, White said.

“Yo Charlie, what’s your problem, you’re not your usual self”, Jayden asked.

“Mehn, it’s the old man, he doesn’t want me to be happy”, Charlie replied

“What did your dad do this time”, White asked curiously.

“He wants me to go to Italy after grade 12”, Charlie said through his teeth.

“Woah man, that’s good news, what a great father you have”, Jayden said happily.

“You guys don’t understand, he wants me to take over his companies, I can’t do that and besides I don’t want to go to Italy, I want to stay here”, Charlie said sadly.

“Then let him know”, Justin simply said.

“He won’t listen”, Charlie rolled his eyes.

“I don’t like the way everyone is dull, come on let’s cheer up”, White shouted.

“You are never serious”, Justin scoffed.

“Announcement, this year’s promotional exams will be taking place on the 5th of next month. Start studying now to achieve good results”, the school central speaker announced.

“Can’t believe in few months time, we will be in grade 12 and after that we won’t see each other again”, White pouted.

“Says who, we will still be in contact,now stop saying nonsense”, Jayden snapped.

“Did you hear that Steph”, Chrysler asked in excitement.

“Yes I did”, Steph replied happily.

“We will soon be seniors”, Chrysler said and they both jumped up and squealed.

“And maybe finally, Justin will look at me”, Chrysler added in a low voice.

“Don’t worry it’s gonna be okay”, Steph smiled.
