“So you mean you were married to another man and even had a child for him before I met you”, Brian raised his tone a bit

“I’m sorry,,,,,I never wanted to get married to him but it was arranged between our families. I don’t love him,,,,,it’s only you I love”, Candis said with tears in her eyes.

“Why didn’t you tell me this since,,,,,why are you just telling me now”, Brian asked lowly.

“I wanted to tell you long time ago but I didn’t find the right opportunity”, Candis said

“So now is the right opportunity to let me know,,,,,what would we tell our kids. Where do we start from”, Brian asked.

“I’m sorry,,,,I love you please don’t leave me”, Candis pleaded

“You love me??,,,I don’t think so because if you love me, you wouldn’t have done this to me. I can imagine what your ex husband will be going through now”, Brian shouted and tugged his hair hardly.

“Believe me, I love you”, Candis said

“Stop saying that, just stop. You betrayed the love I had for you”, Brian stood up and walked to the other side of the sitting room and rested his head on the wall.

Candis stood up and went to meet him, she made an attempt to touch him but he walked away.

Candis slumped on the floor and started crying. She never imagined that this will happen if she says the truth if not she would have remained silent.

“If you cannot forgive me,,,,I must make my son forgive me. But where do I start looking my little Justin,,,I hope he forgives me”, Candis thought inwardly.

“I was joking babe,,,you know I love you and no one else”, Justin said hugging her from behind

“I don’t know anything anymore, just leave me alone,,,,I want to go”, Chrysler struggled to get free.

“I’m sorry,,,,it was all an act. I love you so much,,,,I didn’t know my joke will have an effect on you. Please forgive me, my love”, Justin pleaded.

“Tell me the truth,,,do you really love me or you’re playing with my feelings because I don’t know what to believe again”, Chrysler faced him and asked

“Of course, I love you. I don’t have any intention of playing with your feelings. I was just joking about what I said earlier”, Justin said

“That was such an expensive joke. Don’t say such things again,,,,you know I always take your words seriously”, Chrysler said

“I promise I won’t joke like that again”, Justin smiled and cupped her cheeks.

“I love you too”, with that he pulled her into a hug which only lasted for few minutes before he pulled away.

“Let’s play truth and dare with ourselves”, Chrysler suggested

“Sounds like a nice idea,,,,why don’t you go first”, Justin smiled.

“Okay,,,,truth or dare”, Chrysler asked

“Truth”

“Do you have any plans to marry me”, Chrysler asked jokingly but Justin took it seriously.

“Hmmm,,, that’s a tough question but I’ll be more than happy if I can keep you by my side till eternity”, Justin replied with utmost sincerity.

Chrysler’s eyes got watery at what Justin said. She has always dreamt of marrying him but she didn’t know he was also thinking of the same thing.

“It’s my town,,,,truth or dare”, Justin asked

“Hmm, dare”, Chrysler said

“I dare you to initiate a kiss with me” Justin smirked

“Okay”, she shrugged and pecked Justin on the lips.

“That was not a kiss”, Justin pouted

“Says who”, Chrysler scoffed mentally

“I’m still waiting for my kiss”, Justin closed his eyes and tapped his his index finger on his lips.

“Fine”, Chrysler rolled her eyes and placed her lips slowly on his and kissed him for some seconds and made to pull away but he grabbed her waist and deepened the kiss until he was satisfied before he released her

“I thought it was my kiss,,,,I was supposed to be in control, why did you dominate it”, Chrysler pouted sadly

“Sorry baby,but I wanted it to last longer”, Justin smiled and tapped her nose playfully.

“Whatever,,,let’s continue”, Chrysler said

They were playing the game smoothly and having lots of fun before Vivian interrupted them.

“Ahem,,,am I interrupting something”, Vivian asked knowing fully well she interrupted their moment

“Yes you,,,”

“No,,why are you here” Justin cut Chrysler off.

“I came here to remind you of Mrs Brenda’s test that is coming up tomorrow”, Vivian lied smoothly.

Justin pinched his brows in deep thought.

“I thought we wrote Mrs Brenda’s test last week and I don’t remember her announcing another test”, Justin said

“Oh,,,that’s true. But the main reason I’m here is that I have issues with maths and j want you to explain somethings to me”, Vivian asked with a pity look.

“Uhm,,can we do this some other time, as you can see I’m busy with someone else”, Justin said and Chrysler smirked which angered Vivian.

“No,,I want to explain it to me now”, Vivian said

“Can’t you ask someone else to do that like Charlie”, Justin suggested

“No,,,I want you to explain to me, I don’t want someone else”, Vivian insisted and Justin sighed deeply.

“My love,,,I will speak to you later”, Justin said to Chrysler.

“But I don’t want you to leave yet” Chrysler said

“Sorry babe but I have to,,,, I’ll come back I promise”, Justin said and pinched her cheeks.

“Okay” Chrysler looked down.

“Can I at least kiss you before you go”, Chrysler said and wanted to kiss him but Vivian dragged him away leaving her hanging.

“Sorry,,,he doesn’t have that time”, Vivian smirked and gave her a victory look.

Chrysler looked at her like a vicious lion that is about to devour his prey.

Vivian’s dragged Justin away while Chrysler looked at them on anger.

“Let the game begin”, Chrysler smirked and walked away.

“So what don’t you understand”, Justin asked when they got to the class.

“Actually,,,,the thing is that I don’t have issues with maths, I just wanted to see your face”, Vivian muttered.

“Was that why you called me here”, Justin asked and she nodded

“Is that supposed to be a joke or what”, Justin asked chuckling

“I’m serious”, Vivian said and made to hug him but he pushed her away.

“So you interrupted the lovely moment I was enjoying with my babe just to see my face” Justin asked to be sure.

“Is there anything bad”, Vivian asked.

“Yes,,, everything is bad about it. Why would you do that. If you were not my friend, I would have insulted you”, Justin said and walked out in annoyance to find Chrysler.

Justin went back to where he left Chrysler but he didn’t find her there.

“I left her here, where could she have gone. Maybe she went somewhere”, Justin thought and went to search other places for her.

He eventually found her with Steph. He smiled and went to meet them.

“Sorry but can I borrow Chrys for a while”, Justin asked and Chrysler scoffed loudly.

Steph furrowed her brows but said nothing. She nodded in approval.

“Excuse me”, Steph said and left.

“My love,, I’ve been searching for you”, Justin said and took a seat near her but she moved away.

Justin moved close to her but she moved away again. He became confused and stared at her.

“Baby, have I done something wrong again”, Justin asked

“Leave me alone”, Chrysler said

“Not until you tell me what I did to you”, Justin said.

“What part of leave me alone don’t you understand”, Chrysler said

“Talk to me, what have I done. You know j can’t leave you alone, you’re my life”, Justin muttered

“Just stop it okay,, stop it. Just go and meet your Vivian”, Chrysler blurted out.

“Oh, I know the problem,,,,I can smell something”, Justin smirked

“What’s that”, Chrysler frowned

“Jealousy”, Justin smirked

“Jealous,,,me,,,no way,,, you’re overthinking things”, Chrysler stuttered

“I’m only saying the truth or can you prove you’re not jealous by telling me why you are angry with me”, Justin asked.

Chrysler looked down and started playing with her fingers.

“Yes babe but don’t make me worried again”, Justin smiled and kissed her forehead.

Unknown to them, Vivian was hiding behind a wall and was listening to their conversation.

“We’ll see about that”, Vivian muttered and walked away angrily.

“What was she doing here. I know you’re up to something and I must find out”, Steph said as she watched Vivian walk away.
