I FALL IN LOVE WITH YOU - EPISODE 22

Chrysler woke up due to the rays of light that was reflecting in the room. She yawned tiredly and stretched her body.

She looked down and saw Justin’s hand resting on her breast and she shook her head.

She gently removed his hand so that he will not wake up. She went to the bathroom, took her bath and put on a mini skirt and a baggy shirt.

She woke Justin up to let him know she was leaving already.

“Justin”, Chrysler called softly in his ears and he opened his eyes.

“Jeez, it’s already morning”, Justin said still lying on the bed.

“Yeah and I’m leaving already”, Chrysler said and Justin growled.

“Do you really have to go this early”, Justin asked and she smiled.

“Yes I have to or my mum will be worried”, she said.

“Okay wait,,,let me change and take you home”, Justin offered.

“There’s no need for that, my driver will soon be here”, Chrysler said.

Justin pulled Chrysler to the bed, he made her lay on top of him.

“I will miss you”, Justin pouted and kissed Chrysler’s lips for 5 minutes before pulling away.

“I love you baby”, Justin said with her forehead resting on his.

“I love you more”, Chrysler replied and pecked him.

They heard a car honk and Chrysler came down from Justin’s body and walked to the door.

“That reminds me, I got you a gift but I forgot to give you yesterday. Forgive my manners”, Justin pulled one of the drawers and brought out a small black box.

“Here, take”, Justin said handing over the small box to Chrysler.

Chrysler smiled and collected it. She slowly opened the box and her smile widened when she saw a silver necklace and by the side was a cross pendant.

“Oh my God,,,I love this baby”, Chrysler said holding the necklace like it’s a rare gem.

“I’m glad you love it”, Justin smiled and collected the necklace from her. He placed the necklace on her neck and hooked it.

Chrysler looked at the mirror while her fingers kept tracing the necklace. She smiled and turned to Justin.

“It’s very beautiful”, she said and tiptoed and placed a light kiss on his lips.

The car honked again and she pulled away from Justin.

“I have to go”, she said and opened the door

“Okay baby,,,and don’t forget to tell your mum to forgive me”, Justin said and Chrysler released a laugh.

“Sure I will,,,bye baby”, Chrysler said with a light chuckle and left without waiting for Justin’s response.

Justin went to his window and watched Chrysler enter the car with smiles all over his face.

“Bye my love”, he said to himself as the car drove away from the mansion.

Justin yawned and jumped on the bed and continued sleeping.

Chrysler kept on smiling throughout the journey, she didn’t know when they got home.

“Young miss, we’re here”, the driver said and opened the door.

Chrysler snapped out of her thoughts and came down from the car. She walked to her house and opened the door to find her mum sitting on the couch.

“Morning mum”, Chrysler said and pecked her cheeks.

“Mhmm, how was the sleepover”, Cynthia said grumpily with air quotes.

“It was fine and stop being grumpy”, Chrysler said.

“Why won’t I be grumpy when you still owe me an explanation”, Cynthia said and Chrysler bit the inside of her mouth.

“About that,,,,you see mum-”

She was cut short by Cynthia.

“Why didn’t you tell me about him”, Cynthia said with her hands crossed.

“I wanted to but-”

“But what,,,I’m not against you dating him but you should have told me”, Cynthia said softly.

“I’m sorry mum”, Chrysler said lowly.

“It’s okay,,,,I’m not angry at you. Can you invite him for dinner maybe next week”, Cynthia said.

“Sure mum I will,,,, but why”, Chrysler asked with furrowed brows.

“There’s nothing wrong in getting to know my daughter’s boyfriend”, Cynthia shrugged.

“Hmmm,,,, don’t just make him uncomfortable”, Chrysler said and rushed upstairs.

Later that Day**

“Dude, I haven’t seen Chrysler since morning”, Jayden said playing video games.

“Yeah, she left early this morning because of her mum”, Justin said

“And she didn’t tell me,,,how dare she”, Steph said through gritted teeth.

“You were still sleeping,,,,I guess she didn’t want to disturb you”, Justin reasoned and Steph shrugged.

“Let me call her”, Justin said and dialed her number. She picked the call immediately.

Hey baby, have you gotten home already

Yeah,,thanks for asking. How about you, are you still at White’s house??

Yeah, I will be staying here till the holidays are over.

Oh,,, okay

How are you doing

Fine I guess. That reminds me, I want to tell you something

What’s that.

My mum wants you to come over for dinner sometime.

Really,,,,I hope I have not done anything wrong

No babe,,,,she just wants to know you more.

O,,,okay. When does she want me to come.

Next week

Okay,,I will be there.

Justin hung up but he was feeling nervous right now. His face is very red.

“Why is you face like that”, White asked.

“Mehn,,, Chrysler’s mum is inviting me for dinner”, Justin sighed.

“Wow,, that’s a nice thing”, Jayden shouted.

“It supposed to be,,, but what if her mum doesn’t like me”, Justin asked

“Stop being negative,,,her mum will surely like you. Just take it as she wants to know her future son-in-law very well”, Charlie added.

“What if I mess up”, Justin asked feeling scared.

“Just be yourself”, Steph said coming out from the kitchen with a tray of food.

“Who’s hungry,,,I made spaghetti and meatballs”, Steph said and everyone rushed to the dining table except Justin.

“Come on Justin,,,what are you waiting for. Stop overthinking and come and eat,,you don’t want your mother-in-law to see you thin”, Charlie teased.

Justin sighed and went to join the others at the dining table.

“Hmmm,,,this food is nice”, Jayden rubbed his stomach

“I know right,,,,my girlfriend is such a good cook”, White said and pecked Steph.

“You didn’t not have to do that in front of us”, Charlie muttered.

“Yeah,,, you’re oppressing us”, Jayden scoffed.

“If he’s oppressing you then get a girlfriend and stop making noise

“You’re sounding like it’s that easy”, Jayden scoffed.

“Never said it was,,, besides you aren’t even trying”, Justin scoffed.

“Whatever”, Jayden shrugged and ate the last spoon of his food.

“Guys,,,,erm guys”, Jayden called

“What,,,eat your food and stop disturbing us”, White half yelled.

“That’s the problem,,,,my food has finished”, Jayden said licking his empty plate

“Then cook another one or better still get your girlfriend to cook for you”, Justin smirked and everyone bursted into laughter.

“Nothing ain’t funny. Don’t worry, I will soon get a girlfriend”, Jayden rolled his eyes.

“Stop looking for Jayden’s trouble,,,, Jayden there is still spaghetti in the pot”, Steph smiled.

“Thanks babe”, Jayden said with a wink

“I’ll pretend like I didn’t hear you call my girlfriend ‘babe’ “, White said with a stern look.

Jayden chuckled and entered the kitchen.

White didn’t even spare Steph a glance but she smiled.

“You look cute when you’re jealous”, Steph said and White scoffed.

“Okay fine,,,,sorry”, Steph said and pecked him and like magic, White started smiling again.

Charlie that was watching all of this scoffed.

“Sorry dude”, Jayden patted his shoulder

“Says the guy without a girlfriend”, Charlie said and went upstairs.

“Such a brat”, Jayden said under his breath and left before White and Steph’s romance will kill him.

Justin just sat down there chatting with Chrysler and smiling.
