I FALL IN LOVE WITH YOU - EPISODE 19

The exams have just concluded and everyone is waiting for the results to be pasted on the notice board.

“Steph, do you think you’ll pass”, Chrysler asked.

“Of course,,,I always pass”, Steph shrugged.

“Yeah”, Chrysler said lowly.

“Chrys, what happened”, Steph asked.

“Nothing,,, I’m just nervous. What if I fail”, Chrysler muttered.

“Don’t say that,,,I know you will pass”, Steph said grinning ear to ear.

“I hope so,,,,,

“Guys, the results are out and it’s already on the notice board”, a boy rushed into the class and said.

“Oh my God,,,so fast,,, let’s go and check”, the students yelled and rushed out of the class.

“Come on Chrys, what are you waiting for”, Steph said and pulled the reluctant Chrysler with her to the notice board.

When they got there, everywhere was crowded with students. Everyone wants to see what they got.

“Make way”, Steph said and dragged Chrysler with her to the front to see their results.

Steph looked for her name and traced it. She smiled and jumped up in excitement.

“I passed,,,,how about you Chrysler”, Steph said.

Chrysler looked for her name and checked her result with her fingers crossed. She smiled widely when she saw promoted.

“I passed too,,,we both passed”, Chrysler said happily.

“See, I told you we will pass together”, Steph said.

“This calls for celebration”, Chrysler said and linked her arms with Steph’s arms and hopped away to the cafeteria.

“I would love to have two plates of fried chicken and two bottles of soda”, Chrysler said to the woman at the counter.

“Chrysler you are paying for that”, Steph said and Chrysler chuckled.

“Of course I am,,,now let’s enjoy”, Chrysler said and collected the plates while Steph carried the bottles of soda.

“Hmmm, this is the best chicken ever”, Steph said with oil all over her mouth.

“I know right,,,it’s just too good”, Chrysler said with food in her mouth.

Just as they were eating, White and Justin walked into the cafeteria. They spotted Chrysler and Steph eating like monsters.

“Is that not Chrysler and Steph”, White asked and Justin shook his head in fake disappointment.

“I can’t believe this,,see the way they are eating,,,poor chicken”, White said while cleaning fake tears.

They ordered the same thing the girls did and went to sit near them.

Justin sat near Chrysler and White beside Steph.

The girls were so engrossed in their chicken they didn’t know when the boys came to sit near them.

“Are you through”, Justin said in Chrysler’s ear and she shouted.

“Holly Molly,,,,how did you get here”, Chrysler asked and Steph looked up and her eyes widened.

It was as if the ground should just swallow the both of them. They were eating like babies and their mouths and hands are soaked with oil.

“God why us”, Chrysler and Steph chanted at the same time.

The boys shook their heads and used a tissue paper to clean their mouths.

“Are you embarrassed”, Chrysler asked with pouted lips.

“No baby,,,you still look beautiful babe”, Justin immediately said

“I know right”, Chrysler smiled and turned to eat her food but she felt two pairs of eyes glaring at her and Justin.

“Why are you two looking at us like that”, Chrysler asked.

“Is there something going on between you guys,,,,are you already a thing”, Steph asked narrowing her eyes.

“Wahhhh,,,,,we,,no”, Chrysler didn’t know what to say. Justin looked looked at her and sighed.

“Nothing is going on and we’re not a thing”, Justin lied as if it’s nothing. Chrysler blinked her eyes and looked at Justin and continued eating.

“Hmmm, I see. I know something is going on and I will definitely find out”, Steph said with determination.

“He already said nothing is going on”, Chrysler said.

“I know but I’m not buying any of what you guys say”, Steph said and ate her last piece of chicken.

Steph finished her chicken and saw that White hasn’t even eaten up to half of his own.

“Darling,,,,my chicken has finished”, Steph pouted.

“Okay,,,so what do I do now”, White asked with a smirk.

“Please give me your chicken”, Steph begged with puppy eyes and like a robot, White gave Steph half of his chicken.

“What the fvck just happened”, Justin asked with a shocked expression and White shrugged.

“It’s called love,,,you just don’t know how it works because you’re not in love”, White said and Chrysler choked on her food.

“Sorry ba,,, Chrysler. Do you want water”, Justin asked and quickly poured water and gave it to Chrysler who drank it immediately.

“I’m okay,, thanks”, Chrysler faked a smile.

If only they knew how madly Justin is in love with her, they would swallow what they just said.

Justin on the other hand knew the reason why Chrysler acted like that but he just had to play along.

“I noticed Amanda has been silent these days,,,,I wonder what happened”, Steph said.

“It’s true,,,come to think of it, she doesn’t make noise again. She’s always silent in class”, White said.

Justin just kept quiet, he knew why Amanda was silent.

“Who knows, maybe she’s planning something. I don’t trust her and that her friend Cheyenne, they are snakes in human form”, Steph scoffed.

“She dare not do anything stupid again”, Justin said confidently.

“Hmm, you sound so sure of yourself”, White said and Justin just shrugged.

Amanda was passing and overheard them. She smirked at their foolishness.

“Don’t be so sure my dear Justin. You don’t know what is coming your way. I’m just silent because I’m looking for the right time to strike and when I do,,,you will beg for mercy”, Amanda said with so much anger and left before anyone will notice her presence.

“Uhm guys,,,I decided to have a sleepover at the mansion so you’re all invited”, White said.

“Really,,,,which day”, Chrysler asked.

“Thursday next week”, White said and Chrysler’s face fell.

“What’s wrong”, White asked.

“That day happens to be my birthday”, Chrysler said.

“Woah,, that’s great. We can all celebrate it together. What do you guys think”, White asked.

“I think it’s a great idea”, Justin said while holding Chrysler’s hand that is under the table.

“Okay,,,,if you guys say so”, Chrysler sighed.

For a while now, Gwen has been avoiding Christian lately. She felt it’s best she avoids him so that she can let go of her feelings.

Christian noticed that Gwen doesn’t disturb him now unlike before and she is always quiet these days. In as much as he hates to admit it but he’s worried about her.

Right now, Gwen was coming towards his direction and when their eyes met, she looked away quickly.

“Hi Gwen”, Christian smiled.

“Mmm hey”, Gwen said lowly and didn’t even wait for his reply before leaving.

“Are you sure you’re okay”, Christian asked with a worried expression and Gwen stopped on her tracks not believing her ears.

“Yes I am”, she said and ran off

“Is she really okay”, Christian muttered to himself and shook his head and walked away.

Gwen stopped and looked back to see if there was anyone passing but it was clear.

“So he cares about me”, Gwen said jumping happily.

“Maybe he’s beginning to like me,,,,,or maybe I’m just overthinking”, Gwen bit her lips and shrugged.

“Why can’t she notice me for once”, Declan said sadly as he spied on Gwen.
