After staring blankly at the luxurious necklaces on the table for a while, Qin Zhi’ai, puzzled, turned to Gu Yusheng, who was standing next to her.

There are so many expensive necklaces. He must have asked the workers to prepare them before I arrived… I just came back from France and haven’t annoyed him. Why did he ask me to come here tonight? Did he only want me to select a necklace in such a formal way?

Qin Zhi’ai frowned gently and thought of how Gu Yusheng had asked her, “How come you’re not wearing the necklace I gave you?”
