HIS LUCKY STAR - EPISODE 56

BB’s eyes kept getting bigger and bigger.

Though it’s not the first time but the fact that it was unexpected made her lose her senses for a minute.

She made to push him away but he was quicker, he pushed her away and held his head then jumped down from the bed.

“My head” he said hurtfully, scattering his hair.

“Drew” BB called, going closer to him but he moved away and stayed by the wall, water started coming out of his eyes.

“Drew!” BB said loudly again.

“My head!” He shouted, flashes of the scenes kept going through his head and it hurts a lot, he’s not understanding anything from what he’s seeing.

“No….no…my head!” He shouted again.

Without minding what will happen, BB rushed to him and held his face.

“Drew get back to your senses please!!, Drew!!” She shouted at his face.

He stopped shouting, breathing so hard.

He slowly looked at her and swallowed nothing.

“Bright” he whispered, his eyes still shimmering with tears .

“Are you ok?, Talk to me are you fine?” She asked.

He hugged her tightly.

“Please don’t leave, stay here Bright, I feel so scared and it feels like my head might explode, don’t leave me please” he said fearfully.

“Stay like this, you once lent me your arms so I’ll gladly do that right now” she replied, patting his back as he closed his eyes.

Skye snuck back from the door and sighed…he actually came with the intention of kidnapping him.

“That’s the rude girl from the store, is she his girlfriend?” He wondered and when he saw a doctor coming, he left the place.

“I’ll just try again later” he said and drove away.

Drew stayed for almost ten minutes in BB’s arm before he decided to break the hug.

“I’m sorry” he whispered, avoiding her eyes.

“It’s ok, are you fine now?” She asked.

“Yes I’m fine, thanks for staying” he replied slowly.

“It’s ok, you need to go back to the bed” she said.

He was about to protest when she helped him up and guide him back to the bed.

He sat up and she covered him well before sitting beside him.

“What exactly happened?, Why were you screaming in your sleep?, You had a bad dream?” She asked .

“Yes, scary one, I saw a show where kids were sold for money, dad was one of the sellers” he said.

“What could that mean?” She said.

“I honestly don’t know” he replied

“And you were screaming a name, Yoshi” she said.

“It’s the name of the second boy who was in the show with me” he said

“You were in the show?” BB asked curiously.

“Yes, I think I’m the second boy cos that Yoshi boy was calling Drew” he replied.

“A human trade showcase?” BB said.

“Exactly” he replied.

“Why will you dream of that?” BB said.

“Exactly what I don’t understand”

“It only happens some years ago in California like I heard, it stopped since five years ago” BB said.

Drew sighed and closed his eyes.

“I’m sorry for my troubles” he said

“It’s fine, what’s important is that you’re ok” she said and stood but he held her.

She looked back and he opened his eyes.

“Do you really hate me?” He asked slowly.

She stylishly took her hand from him and shifted back.

“I dunno” she said awkwardly.

“You really hate me, I know… you’re Brinkley Bright Marshalls,you always stand on your words” he said.

“Take care of yourself” she said.

“Thanks for coming to see me” he smiled and she nodded before leaving.

Drew lay back on the bed and smiled.

“Thanks for coming, at least I got to see your face” he whispered.

Same hospital, another ward**

“So when will she be ok?” Jillian asked the doctor after he finished examining Melissa.

“Honestly she’s perfectly ok” he replied.

“Perfectly ok?, And she was bleeding?, She’s perfectly ok yet she passed out, doctor what are you talking about” she said.

“Her vitals are perfect, she looks ok” he replied.

“Really?”

“She was screaming and yelling…like; I didn’t kill her!” Jillian said

“Really?”

“Yes exactly” she replied

“You should have told me about that earlier, we’ll have to run a brain check on her” he said and Melissa spranged up.

“Mum!”

“Lissa!” Jillian said, rushing to her.

“What am I doing here?” She asked.

“You passed out after screaming in the studio, you even bled”Jillian replied.

“I bled?”

“Yes you did”

“But I’m ok, and I don’t remember screaming, I need to go home” Melissa replied, getting down from the bed.

“Lissa you need to get treated” Jillian said.

“I’m ok” she replied, wearing her shoes.

“Miss, you need a brain check” the doctor said.

“What!” A brain check?, How dare you!” She yelled and before anything, she slapped the doctor across the face.

“Melissa calm down” Jillian said, holding her.

“He’s deranged for saying that, you’re the one who needs a brain check, idiot” she said and stormed out of the ward.

Secret warehouse, 9pm**

“Welcome back” Mr Kaz said immediately doctor Claus entered.

“It was just a piece of cake, heard the b*tch was in surgery earlier, she did this intentionally but now that I’m out, let’s start everything” he said.

“Are we still using the hospital underground lab?” Mr Fabio asked.

“Of course, let’s get the b*tch first, but before then, someone has to die” Claus said.

“Das” Jillian said, coming into the warehouse.

“He has to die tonight” she said.

“He’ll die tonight” Mr Kaz said.

“How?” Mrs Fabio asked and Claus smiled.

“In one way or another, when we’re done with him, we can start with the specimen” Claus replied.

“I’m glad this project is resuming” Mrs Kaz said.

“Everyone is, and this time no hitch” Mrs Kaz smiled.

“No hitch” Claus smiled.

Malcolm’s family hospital**

Austen decided to stay in the hallway, he won’t be able to sleep till daybreak when he’ll see Nikita.

Eddy is beside him, feeling the same way.

Sunny is dozing off on the second chair while BB is sitting beside her.

She licked her lips, remembering the kiss earlier.

*Why didn’t I slap him or complain or get angry?* She thought.

*Will he be ok?*

*Is he fine?*

*Why am I getting worried?*

*What’s the meaning of his dream?*

She got worried a lot and eventually stood,, she hit her fist on the wall.

“BB” Eddy said, standing up.

“I’m fine” she sighed, sitting down again.

*Drew Kaz…why am I thinking of him?* She thought confusedly.

Das suddenly entered the hospital and Austen stood.

“Son” he said.

“You should go home, we’ll stay” Austen said.

“What did the doctor say?”

“We can only be able to see her tommorow morning” Austen replied.

“Will you be ok?” Das asked.

“Yes” he nodded.

“I’d love to talk to you tommorow” Das said.

“I’ll see you tommorow then” Austen replied.

Das left reluctantly and got in his car in front of the hospital.

He took a deep breath and stared into space for minutes before telling his driver to move.

They had barely journeyed for ten minutes when a black car suddenly sped out of a corner in front of them, coming for them.

“Shit!” The driver said, trying to avoid it but it was too late.

Just a little before the car will hit Das’s car, a red car appeared from the side and crashed into the black car.

The black car somersaulted many times and landed upside down while the red one turned around a lot before balancing.

“What just happened” Das said fearfully.

His driver came out of the car, looking at the two cars.

Smokes is emanating from the cars already and they might just blow up soon.

Out of the red car, came a guy who looks vicious, he got a cut on his forehead and it’s bleeding slightly

He brought out a lighter from his pocket and lightened it before throwing it on the black car, it blew up immediately.

Das came out of the car shockingly as the guy started walking to him, he just saved his life!

The guy stopped in front of him and extended an hand.

“I’m Skye Marshalls….nice to save your life..Das” he said.
