HIS LUCKY STAR - EPISODE 3 AND 4

Eddy made sure Nikita is standing straight already before going to Melissa

“Honestly I’m gentle but messing with my sister is what I won’t take” he said

” So what are you gonna do poor boy” she replied pompously

” Melissa let’s go please” Kira said

” I just said you’re fired if you say one more word” Melissa said and Kira kept shut

” So what are you gonna do” Melissa said

Eddy feels like slapping her right now and damn the fact that she’s rich but honestly he’s scared, if this brat implicates him and get him sabotaged, if he goes to jail cos of that, Nikita will refuse to eat and almost cry her eyes out, he can’t take that

“So…. You aren’t saying what you’ll do to me?, I’m expecting a slap or punch or kick, do that and find yourself In prison within an hour” Melissa sprouted

Eddy looked back at her pitiful sister who’s still standing on her spot, looking helpless

He faced Melissa and was about to talk when something hit Melissa’s forehead from nowhere, it’s a stone

“Oh my gosh!” Melissa screamed, holding her forehead that’s bleeding already

“My… My head!, My blood!” She shouted, leaning on the car

Eddy stared in astonishment, wondering where the stone came from as Kira rushed to Melissa

“I told you, now you got wounded” Kira said, guiding her inside the car

” Eddy…. I’m coming back for you, you’ll regret this!, When my dad or mum gets you, you’re dead!! …. Eddy!!! ” She screamed as Kira drove her away

Eddy went back to Nikita and hugged her

“I’m so sorry, are you ok?” He asked after breaking the hug

Nikita smiled sadly, tears forming in her eyes already

“We’re poor and I’m blind, I can’t protect you cos I’m blind, you’re scared to face her cos we’re poor, we’re just pitiful” she said, letting out her tears but Eddy wiped it immediately

“We’ll be ok Kita…. Trust me” he said and she nodded

” But who threw the stone” he said, looking around

” Here! ” Someone said, suddenly appearing

Her looks is … Rugged, she’s a girl but dressed like a boy, her hair was cut and she’s wearing a stud in her right ear, she’s wearing a big oversized joggers on white sneakers then a wide t-shirt, she’s chewing gum slowly, obviously a tomboy

“You are?” Eddy asked

” Brinkley Bright, BB for short” she smiled, showing off her cute gum but the smile was short

“BB?” Nikita said

“Sure” she replied, wearing black leather gloves

“You threw the stone?” Eddy asked

“Sure, you were behaving like a damn girl and couldn’t even defend her” she replied, gesturing at Nikita

” I have a reason for that” Eddy replied

“What damn reason do you have for allowing that chicken to bully your…..

“My sis” Eddy said

“Your sis?, Damnit I can’t believe this, you should have gave her a punch and send her flying to San Francisco….or slap her and let her lose three front teeth, or kick her and make her b*tt fly out of her body…” BB said, demonstrating by throwing punches into the air and kicking the air angrily as if Melissa is there

Nikita can imagine her doing that so she smiled

“I should do that and go to jail?” Eddy said

“So what?” BB said

“What!”

” What’s the big deal in going to jail, not like it’s hell, sometimes jail is better than this f*cking streets of Texas” she replied, rolling eyes at Eddy

” You’re something else” Eddy said

“I like your fierceness, but you know, not everyone can be like you” Nikita said.

” I know…. I was passing by when I saw that brat doing that, I’ve been hearing about her but I witnessed it today, I got to teach her something” she said and picked the stone she threw at Melissa earlier

” Thanks for making me find you” she said and kissed it

” She’s crazy” Eddy muttered

“I was on my way to deliver pizza , I should get going” she said

“You’re a delivery girl?” Eddy said

” Isn’t it obvious?” She replied, crossing to the other side of the road, she climbed a bike and rode down the road without looking back for once

“She’ll be one cute girl” Nikita said

“Cute you said?, She looks boyish” Eddy replied as they walked the remaining meters to the bus station

“You don’t have good eyes’ she replied and Eddy giggled as they got in the bus which took them home.

Austen’s mansion**

Austen finished working on his laptop and shut it down slowly, it’s late already but he’s not even feeling sleepy

His maids made him coffee which he drank but that didn’t help as usual, he stayed in the living room, watching TV though it seems uninteresting to him

Everything is uninteresting…to him

His life is worse to him too….to him he’s the most helpless person on Earth and he just hates his life

He placed the pillow on his face after resting back on the couch , thinking that’ll make him sleep a bit but that was just a lie, it didn’t help

He stood from the couch and was about to go upstairs when the doorbell rang,,

He waited for a while before he started hearing arguments from the door

“I’m sorry I have to go inform my boss before letting you in” he heard one of his maids saying

“Really?, You should be glad I visited this doghouse you call a house, and now you’re telling me to wait?, Get the hell out of my face!” An harsh voice said and Immediately, he knows the owner… Jillian, Melissa’s mum

He walked to the door and saw the maid on the floor, Jillian actually pushed her

“What are you doing here Jillian?” He said

“I came to say hi, is this how you welcome visitors here?” She replied, smiling mischievously as she stepped in regally, looking around disgustingly as if the house is really a doghouse

“The last time I checked, you hate me so I see no reason why you should show your face here” Austin said, blocking her way and preventing her from entering further

Jillian giggled slowly before getting serious again

“You won’t last, trust me, if I tell my husband to give MM to me and step you down at the CEO,do you think you’ll be safe?” She said, glaring at him

” When are you gonna do that?, Make it snappy please, leaving that god-damned company has always been my wish but the bastard I call my dad won’t let me, you should go tell him to step me down as the CEO, please do” he replied quickly

” You just called Das a bastard?” Jillian said cunningly

” Yes I did…..are you gonna tell him?, Go tell him and let him come to my office to rant tommorow, he might even wanna punch me but I don’t care!” He yelled

” You yelled at me too” Jillian smiled

“I knew you came here to do this,now that you got what you wanted, can you please go?” He said, pointing at the door

” And now you’re chasing me out of your house” she said

” Just leave already!, Don’t you understand when the presence of someone makes you feel like bugs are crawling all over your body?, That’s how exactly I’m feeling right now so be kind enough to just leave!” He screamed, breathing heavily

Jillian smiled knowingly and left fast, she brought out the recorder she has with her and smiled , happy that she achieved her aim

“When Das listens to this, you’re gone Austen” she said, dropping it in her bag before getting in her car

Austen rushed upstairs immediately she left, he’s already in tears when he got there, his tears are too simple to get, he gets hurts easily.

He went to his room and got his mother’s picture frame from his bed where it always is

He always sleeps with his mother’s picture frame on his chest

Das hid everything concerning his mother ( Lira ) including her pictures but he was lucky enough to get this from Regina… Regina and Lira met once before Lira’s death and they snapped a picture together, Regina was kind enough to give him and he made it into a framed picture so it’ll be big enough to hold to himself

He sat on the ground and hugged the picture then wiped his tears

“I miss you mum…I’m suffering” he said, kissing his mother’s cheeks in the picture then he hugged it again

Nikita’s place**

“Food is ready!” Eddy announced, bringing their dinner to the small table which served as their dinning table

Nikita is already sitting on a side of the table so he placed it on the table and sat on the floor of the other side

“Fried rice?” She said, sniffing the air

“Yes, there was still some rice left and that’s why I decided to make fried rice, the ingredients weren’t complete but I did my best to make it tasty, I’ll dish your food” he said and dished it into a plate for her then he gave her the spoon

” Just an inch forward” he said and she measured that accurately, she dipped her soon into it and ate gently

“Hmmn!, Awesome!’ she said, smiling and eating more

” I’m glad you like it” he smiled, bending over to peck her

” I love you big sis, love you so much” he said

“Love you more best brother in the world” she replied and Eddy smiled

” Eat up” he said

” Heard we have a new neighbor” she said as she ate

“I heard it too, landlady Lorraine told me” Eddy replied

” I hope she’ll be good” Nikita said

Almost immediately, they started hearing shouts from outside

I told you to always come home early if you want to successfully live here!, I hate when people come home late!

Really?, I’m a delivery girl for crying out loud!, Our shop delivers pizzas till past 9, this is some minutes to 10 and you’re making unnecessary fuss over the fact that I came home by this time, Lorraine stop trying to make me punch you!

What!, You just called me by my name?

So what? Not like you were named madam Lorraine

“Must be the landlady and the new neighbor, but the voice of the new neighbor sounds familiar, I’ll go check….stay here please” Eddy said and Nikita nodded,

Eddy left the room and walked out to the corridor where he saw the landlady and miss stone… BB from earlier

“You’re the new neighbor?” He said surprisingly

” So what?, Come talk some sense into your landlady’s f*cking skull!, I payed you my rent already so why are you tryna make me hit you!” She shouted

” I gave you the rules that you can’t come home late once you become a resident of this house and you agreed, now why this!” Landlady Lorraine said

” It’s freaking 9:47 for the love of cigarettes!, Are you from the 10th century?, People are still out there, enjoying themselves but I choose to come home and rest and now this?, Look if you say one more thing I’m gonna have to punch you and send you flying to San Francisco” BB said

Eddy moved closer to her and whispered into her ear

“She’s a lil bit deranged, don’t take it too far”

“Oh really?, Never knew….I’m off” she said and entered her room, slamming the door behind her

“What did you tell her?” Lorraine asked

“That you’re a lil bit deranged” he replied

“To hell with you Eddy!, To hell with you!” She screamed and Eddy rushed into his room, shutting the door behind

“It’s the girl from earlier, Brinkley Bright” he said, breathing heavily

” BB?, She’s our new neighbor?, Awesome..why was she arguing with Lorraine?” Nikita asked

He was about to reply when the door opened and Bright came in

“You should knock at least” Eddy said

She smirked at him before coming in fully

“I guessed right , so this is your room, hey what’s up?” She said to Nikita

” I’m good, what about you” she replied

” Your deranged landlady nearly ruined my mood but I’m good now” she replied, sitting beside Eddy

” Living in same house with you…will it be a good idea?” Eddy said and BB glared at him

” Ion like living in same house with chickens too but what can I do” she said

” Chicken?” Eddy said and Nikita laughed

“Yes you are…. for allowing that crazy girl to do that to your sis” she said

” Well I’m Nikita, he’s Eddy, my junior brother, we’re orphans, what about you” Nikita said

” Brinkley Bright like you know, BB for short…I’m a crazy angry orphan too who’s after the killer of her parents” she said bitterly, folding her fist

” Your parents…were murdered?” Eddy said

*Yes, don’t ask further please, I don’t want to talk about it” she replied, picking Eddy’s spoon

” The spoon is mine” Eddy said

“Go get another… Kita I’m so hungry” she said

“Let’s eat” Nikita said and BB started eating

” I can’t believe this” Eddy said, looking at BB annoyingly

BB looked at him and winked

“I have noodles in my room, you can go get em and cook it for dinner, but this rice, you aren’t eating” she said and resumed eating

” Kita you aren’t saying anything!, She’s trespassing and infringing on my rights!” He said

” Go get the noodles” Nikita said and BB suddenly stopped

” She’s…blind?” She said

“Yes I am” Nikita replied

“What the….how?” She said

“Nothing to talk about” Nikita replied sadly

” Ok then” BB replied

“Bright honestly you’re being unfair, I cooked this rice with my energy” Eddy said

” I’m eating it with my energy too, I should get appreciated” BB said and Eddy grunted before going in

” Don’t mind him, he’ll be fine” Nikita said

“I hope so, that baby boy” she replied and Nikita smiled

” You must be so cute” Nikita said

“I’m far from cute” she replied

“So you do pizza deliveries?” Nikita said

“Yes, I enjoy doing that”

“I’m sorry but how old are you?” Nikita asked

“I’m nineteen” she replied

” Eddy is eighteen, why aren’t you in school?” Nikita asked

” I don’t have enough money, isn’t it obvious?” She replied, drinking water

” I guess so…but you can apply for scholarship into Sunshine highschool, it’s ending on Friday, you can get in I’m sure you’re smart” Nikita said

” That school filled with spoilt brats?, If I get in on Monday by 8:30, I’ll land in jail by 9″ she replied and Nikita laughed

” Honestly I can’t stand brats, I’ll wound them” she said.

” You talk like you’ve been to jail before” Nikita said

” Ten times” she replied

” What!”

“And I can’t wait to go back, I won’t have to pay rents or buy food, and I missed my cell mates” she replied

” Bright!’ Nikita shouted and she laughed

“I’m sorry, it’s just my personality” she replied

Next morning**

” Seriously BB is a nut job” Nikita said as she left the house with Eddy

“I know right?, Creating her as a girl was a mistake” Eddy replied and someone hit his head from behind, it’s BB

” Bright!’ he said , rubbing the part

“As if it wasn’t a mistake creative you as a boy you chicken” she rolled eyes and Nikita smiled

” You had a good night right?” She said

“Of course, thanks to your rice” she said

” You should try going to school” Eddy said

“School is not for me baby!” She replied and got on her bike immediately they got out

“Kita!, Sight you later!” She winked and drove off

“Crazy girl” Eddy said

*I like her” Nikita said

“I don’t” Eddy replied

They rode the bus to the coffee cafe and Nikita dropped there, Eddy waved at her as the bus moved

Sunny is already waiting to guide her in

“Morning sunshine” Nikita smiled

“Morning s*xy” sunny replied and Nikita pinched her lightly

She giggled as they went in.

“You look dull boss” Ray said during the drive to work with Austen that morning

“I’m ok, and why would I smile anyways, not like there’s any reason to smile” he replied

” Madam Regina?” Ray said and Austen looked at him, before he knew it, he’s already smiling

“Thanks for smiling boss” Ray said and Austen smiled wider

Ray is his PA and a good friend, they’re same age so he’s more of a friend than a PA

“Stop in front of that coffee cafe, I crave for coffee” he said

” Coffee cafe?, Boss no, I can just order it for you and….

“It might take too long…stop” he interrupted and the driver stopped the car

“Boss this isn’t right” Ray said as he came out of the car

“So that’s right” Austen said and Ray sighed

Austen entered the coffee cafe and sat at the first free table, Ray came in and sat across him

“OMG, that’s the CEO of MM in our cafe” Sunny said with wide eyes

“Oh, the billionaire?, Awesome….what should we do” Nikita replied

The other servers are already fighting on who to serve him

“Nikita, go serve him, no f*ck ups, it’s his first time here and we must make him a regular” Hammy said

” Yes sir” she replied

“Table 5” Sunny said and Nikita walked there

Austen is sitting with his legs widened out of the table so his leg is on the way

He’s into his phone as Nikita walked to him

Just as he got to his table, her leg bumped on his shoe on the way and she stumbled, she gasped and started falling

Austen looked up from his phone and his eyes widened, he dropped his phone and it fell as he tried to save her from falling

“Boss”. Ray said

Austen was able to get her before she could fall, he pulled her arm and he almost fell but he staggered and sat on the chair,,

Nikita landed on his laps and his eyes met hers…

Right on his laps, in front of him Is the cutest girl he has ever set his eyes on…
