” Thanks for the ride. ”
She flashed him a pretty smile as he halted before her house.

“You’re always welcome. ”
Davis replied subtly.

She made to get down from his car when he stopped her .

” Will I ever see you again?.”
He asked, with a shy hue on his face, luckily for him, the dark of the night it.. it would have been something so embarrassin for him .

“Sure. I live here. You can come by anytime. ”

His heart smoothened by her welcoming words. He beamed radiantly as she finally got off his car.

” Good night Betty. ”

” Good night Davis. ” She waved before Walking straight to her apartment.

Davis watched her go in and shut the door behind her.
A smile plastered on his face. Definitely, he’ll come pay a visit to her sooner than she expects.

Betty pulled off her hills and crashed on her bed the moment she got in.
She was so tired. She hasn’t touched anything yet since she came, the lights remained off and she was slightly farmished.

” I fancy the idea of you having your bathe before going to bed. ”

The manly voice came from the dark, and it startled her.

She jerked from her bed in fear as she ran to switched on the lights.

” Ethan. “.
She gawked, unbelievably.

” What are you doing here?.. how did you get in?.”
Her voice showed how angry she was. He just invaded her privacy and it’s not funny.

” The last time I checked, I bought this place for you. It seems now that you’re questioning my authority. ”
He huffed, feeling disgusted by her naivety.

Right. He bought here for her. But for his own selfish reasons.

She lowered her head and let out a soft but hot sigh.

” I did as you told me. I haven’t gone against your wish. ”
She says, not staring him in the eye.

Ethan could feel her nervousness.
He took steps closer to her and his hairs trailed on her gold blonde hair.

” Hush. I know. ” He spoke out softly.
” You’ve been a good girl Betty. You’ve been doing everything as told. ”
He trailed his hands down to her neck. Making her shiver by his cold touch.

” My father, how is he? You promised not to hurt him if I do your bidding. ”

Ethan chuckled.
” We’ll talk about your father next time, he is not in trouble. He is safe”

His hands didn’t leave her body. Instead, he went further by dipping it into her firm and warm b00bs.

” Ethan….”

Her voice broke out.

” I couldn’t get my eyes off your body today at the Grand opening today, Betty. You looked ravishing. And right now, you look even more ravishing. And I want you. ”
His gruff voice came out with an order. He dipped his head closer and placed kisses all over her neck. He grazed it with his teeth and Betty couldn’t help but shut her eyes in fear.

Scared- He’s going to hurt her like he always does. He never go easy on her. He never stops ravishing her womb till he see her bleed. And she knows tonight would be no different.

Slowly, she began to take off her loosed dress.

He commented and deeped his head, taking her juicy lips into his.
He pulled off his clothes, and they both fell on the bed.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!! The alarm shook the entire room, disturbing his sleep.
Why was the alarm so Loud?..

He thought within as he opened his eyes ,..

” Uh!?” He flinched away from her immediately.

Right before his bed stood Adrianna with the alarm clock in her hand which she had placed so close to his ears.
No wonder it was so loud. His head was a beating drum right now.

“Oh finally. He’s awake. ” She rolled her eyes switching off the alarm as she placed back to it’s station.

” What were you thinking?.. placing it close to my ears, what if I go deaf?.” He arched a confused and annoyed brow at her.

” You look deaf already to me before. I tried waking you up but you didn’t respond. Sorry I had to use another alternative”

Davis Pov.

I shook my head and got up from the bed. The room was so bright and it made me wonder what time is it.

” It’s past eight in the morning Davis.”
She says, walking out of the room.

As if she read my mind.

Past eight.
Gosh. I blinked hard and yawned tiredly.

I didn’t Know when I actually slept off last night. Must have been really tired or something.

My door opened again and Adraina walked in.

” You should learn to knock. ” I reminded.

“Oh,” she mouthed, realizing herself.

She walked out and I sighed out, thinking she already left. But there was a tap on the door.
I scoffed.
Did she just go back to knock?.
Crazy. I scoffed.

“Come in”
I said.

She walked in and … ” What?”
My tired voice questioned her steps.

She felt tensed. I noticed cause she made it too obvious.

” Uhm. I wanted to say if you still insist on using a court instead of a church, it’s fine by me. ”

I twitched my brow, feeling suprised. Off course I’m not okay with a church wedding.

” Why the sudden change of heart?”
I asked.

” I thought about it last night. And I figured it’s no need using a church to conduct a fake marriage. The court would be better for such lie. ”

Hmmmm.

I nodded. “Okay. Go get ready. We’ll use the court ”

She nodded before using the door.

I’m happy she had a change of heart.
Plus, I’m happy too that my plans of having a child is in progress.

Adrianna’s pov

” If you both agree to the terms, you may sign the papers and officially become man and wife. ”
The lawyer said and David, without hesitation picked the dark inked men and scribbled his signature on it.

He gave me the pen when he was done and I felt undecided all of a sudden.
I felt the heat burn the back of my ear. I could see the fear in Davis eyes.
I was taking too long and the suspense was too much.

” Miss Flaire?.”

I flinched back to reality the moment I heard him drawl out my name.

I stared at him and his eyes kept telling me to sign the papers.

” Miss Flaire. ” He called again.

” Okay. Okay.. ” I exhaled sharply before signing on the documents.

He felt so relaxed from the tension he was feeling moments ago.
I could tell because I was conscious of his eyes

” You’re both joined now as man and wife. ”

“Thank you. ” He thanked the lawyer.

” You may kiss the bride”

Huh? ..

“Kiss?..”
I didn’t know when that left my mouth.

” Don’t worry, it’s just a peck on your cheek. ”
Davis replied seeing the way I reacted.
It only made me wonder if I thought about the process of having a child before signing the papers.

He leaned forward and placed a light kiss on my left cheek.

I exhaled sharply and he nodded with a smile.

” Let’s go home Mrs Gregg. ” He held my hand

I flushed at the sound of that.

” Aren’t you making it sound too real?.”
I rolled my eyes.

We were about walking out of the courtroom when a lady stopped us.

“Ohmg! I can’t believe this is real. Davis Gregg is married. ”

” Can… Can I take pictures?.. ” she seemed flushed with too much suprise on her face.

” No ..you..

” Sure.” I grinned. Cutting Davis off.

We took a pose as the pic was taken.

” Can I see?”

“Sure”

She handed me the camera and I looked really pretty on it. With the white gown I had on , It made me wish it was a real court wedding.
Davis on the other hand didn’t have a trace of smile on his face. He was just neutral. I wonder how someone can manage to stay so gloomy for no reason

” Thanks. Can I get the copy?..” I asked.

” That’s enough. Let’s go ”
Davis pulled me by the arm..

” Let go. That hurts!”
I wriggled my arm from his grip when we were already out.

” Why did you have to push me out in such manner?”
I felt offended already.

” Why did you have to let her take us pictures?.huh?’ he waved his hands in the air in demonstration.

Davis Pov””””’

” It’s our wedday Davis. Even if it’s fake, at Least, let’s make it a bit real. Pictures aren’t that bad ”

I shook my head.
She doesn’t get any of this, does she?.

” Maybe I didn’t state myself clear before getting you into this. You should be careful okay. Rule Nō 1 , mind the things you do in public. You should be careful Miss Flaire. You don’t just take pictures.. ”

” Why are you making it sound so offensive?. She just wanted to take us a nice picture. At Least don’t make me look stupid. You really don’t have to ruin everybody’s mood because yours is always ruined. I don’t even know why you’re this tight.”

I sighed out. My hand roughing my hair.

” I guess you still have Alot to Know about me . Let’s get out of here. ”

I pulled out my keys and got into the car, she followed suite and j noticed how gloomy she suddenly became.

I ignited the key and revised out of the court premises.

Moments later.

I didn’t drive to my penthouse. Instead I took her to one of my houses in the heart of the city.

” Why are we here?”
She asked.

” We’ll be staying here for a while. ”
I replied, getting down.

She looked puzzled.
I could see the confusion in her eyes.

” It’s just for a while. ” I added, going over to open her side of the door.
She got down and gulped at the sight of the magnificent building.

” Wow. ”

“You like it?”
I felt a sensation of fulfillment seeing the was she gawked at the beautiful building.

“I love it. Is this your place?.. like you built it?..”

“Yeah. I built it. I knew you’d like the view from here. There’s a beach at the other side of the house. You can visit there at sunset. ”

The bright smile which stretched on get face erased the gloomy expression she wore to this place. A part of me felt,….. Calm she liked the house.

” What about my clothes?.”

” Everything is sorted Mrs Gregg. I fixed that up already. ”

She blushed… The hue on her cheeks were so bold.
She’s easy with words, from my guess.

“And my mom? Jaden? Won’t they come over? Won’t I see them?”

I thought of that already.

” That’s no problem. You’ll see them once we’re done with our honeymoon. ”

” Honey what?…”
Her month dropped open. The unexpected surprise on her face made me wonder how naive she can be sometimes.

” We are newlyweds Mrs Gregg. I shouldn’t fill you into all of these. you know what comes after marriage. I don’t need to tell you that also,..”

I removed the strands of hair that covered a little part of her face.
Then. I leaned forward and placed a soft peck on her cheeks.

” Let’s go in. ”

That was all said before I picked the pace towards the house.
