Reid looked at Samara’s back and couldn’t help but be stunned. “Mr. Humphrey, it’s Ms. Novak.”

Chaim tilted his head and glanced at him. “I’m not blind.”

Reid felt a chill down his spine as he looked at Chaim. He retracted his gaze and did not dare to speak again.

Although he was very puzzled why Samara did not greet them when she saw them, Reid knew that if he asked this question, he would probably suffer.

The ones who were going to have dinner with Samara tonight were people she could not offend. She canceled the cooperation with Glisten Corp. last time, which had pissed Rogelio off. Rogelio should attend the dinner tonight, but he asked Samara to come instead.

Samara was punished with three glasses of wine when she had just entered the restaurant. Now her throat was hot, and she was not feeling good.

After the entire dinner, Samara drank a lot of wine.

Samara had a high alcohol tolerance. When she graduated from high school, she secretly took out several bottles of wine from Kadin’s wine cellar and drank with Dayton and Fletcher. In the end, the others were all drunk, but Samara was still very sober, except that she felt a bit dizzy.

When she heard Samara mention what happened that night, Gloria’s face stiffened, and she could not help but be a

little afraid. “I… I didn’t speak ill of you!”

Samara curled her lips and walked out of the bathroom in her high heels.

But unluckily, just as she dealt with the annoying Gloria and Natalee, Samara met her ex–husband out of the ladies‘

room.

However, it was her ex, which meant that it was past. So he had nothing to do with her now.

Samara raised her hand to ruffle her long hair and walked past Chaim in her high heels.

Seeing her walk past him with indifference, Chaim suddenly felt angry. “Samara.
