- Season 1 Episode 38 - Samara’s Suffering Has Ended
Thalia’s bar called Cloud was full of customers tonight. People coming for Samara’s band almost filled up the bar. Tonight’s business could even be equal to the turnover of the next week.
Victor brought Chaim to Cloud and saw Samara on the stage.
Samara was so dazzling. She was only wearing a white sweater and a pair of black jeans. But on the stage, Samara held a drumstick in her hand, stepped on the clapper, and nodded her head. She looked so cool that it was difficult for Chaim not to see her.
This newly opened bar was filled with people. Victor even failed to find a seat. The loud music and the lively atmosphere were attractive to Victor. He was reluctant to leave.
This was not the first time that Chaim had seen Samara on stage. Compared to his shock and teasing last time, Chaim’s feelings were much more complicated when he saw Samara on stage today.
Victor was nearly manic. Surrounded by deafening music and cheers, Chaim wanted to leave, but he was stopped by
Victor.
He looked at Samara who was under the light on the stage. Her face looked soft, for she wore a white sweater. But Samara was like a stage queen, controlling the entire audience and revealing a disdainful expression.
He found himself addicted to Samara like this.
When he realized this, Chaim’s face immediately got sullen.

He was very clear that he and Samara had been divorced.
Since they had divorced, Samara’s condition was not his concern.
Not his concern at all!
During the break, Victor was still excited. He tilted his head and saw Chaim was still there. He could not help but be surprised. “Ah, Chaim, you’re still here? I thought you had already left. Samara is awesome. Do you regret divorcing her?”
Chaim felt that he had heard a joke. “What is regret?”
Victor was stunned for a moment. “Oh, that’s true. Samara is not your type. You like innocent girls like Serena.”
When he heard this name that he hadn’t heard for a long time, Chaim frowned. “Who has told you that I like Serena?”
This question stunned Victor. “Doesn’t everyone think so?”
“I don’t like her.”

Victor was shocked. “Then why did you divorce Samara?”
Although Victor–used to look down on Samara, he knew Samara was a good choice for Chaim.
This question upset Chaim even more. “She was the one who wanted to divorce.”

Victor snorted, “So Samara’s suffering has ended.”
Chaim felt that Victor couldn’t say anything good.
Why was marrying him a kind of suffering?
The crowd began to cheer again. Victor ordered a glass of champagne and saw an acquaintance with sharp eyes.

He raised an eyebrow and quickly walked back to Chaim. “Chaim, do you think the one holding a bunch of roses under the stage is Roland?”
Before Chaim could answer him, Victor continued, “It’s Roland! It’s so late at night. Who is he chasing after with such a bunch of flowers?”
Chaim didn’t care about these things. He wanted to leave this damned place more than anything else.
However, just as he turned around to leave, screams suddenly rang out. “Wow! My goodness! Is the man the boyfriend of the goddess? He sent roses to her on the stage. How romantic!”
Victor was also shocked. “Damn, Roland, this bastard took a fancy to Samara!”
