Chaim looked at Samara in front of him. She had disappeared for three months. It was as if she had changed into a different person. Not to mention that she was radiant, her straight black hair became curly and brown. It was loose and draped over her back. As she got up, her hair curled up as she moved.

Samara’s makeup today was bright and beautiful. It made her more attractive. Her eyes were bright and moist under the shadow of the eye shadow.

Samara looked at Chaim with a smile on her face. Her voice was crisp and clear, and she

acted politely as if she did not know him.

She seemed to be living well after the divorce.

Chaim’s eyes darkened, and he glanced at Samara’s outstretched hand. He didn’t shake hands with her and directly sat down.

The smile on Samara’s face faded, and she retracted her hand. Frederick, who was at the

side, changed the topic to smooth things over.

Samara restrained her expression and smiled at Frederick while talking to him. She

never looked at Chaim again.

Frederick occasionally tried to speak with Chaim. However, Chaim sat there, his deep

eyes coldly looking at Samara. Even Frederick felt that something was wrong and hurriedly said some platitudes. The meal ended just like that.

Samara did not go with them. When the others left, Samara and Jimena turned around

and went to the restroom.

Looking at Samara who stood up and left, Chaim looked away expressionlessly and

Reid followed behind him carefully. He didn’t dare to say anything.

They had been looking for Samara for a long time. No one expected Samara to show up

as the manager of Elephant Group tonight. She even greeted Chaim as if nothing had

happened.

Why hadn’t he noticed before that Samara was quite bold?

“Ms. Novak.”

As soon as Samara came out of the restroom, Jimena looked at her worriedly.

Jimena was sent by Kadin. Jimena naturally knew about what had happened between Samara and Chaim. They suddenly met tonight. Jimena was worried about Samara.

Samara turned off the water tap. After wiping off the water stains on her hands, she raised her hand to ruffle his long hair. “Are you worrying about me?”

As she spoke, she smiled. “It’s not necessary.”

She was no longer stupid.

Jimena was stunned for a moment. After she came back to her senses, she heaved a sigh

of relief and followed Samara out.

The driver had been waiting at the entrance of the hotel for a long time. Samara stepped out of the elevator. She originally thought that Chaim and others had left a long time ago. However, she did not expect to meet them in the lobby lounge.

She looked up and saw that Frederick was no longer there, leaving Chaim and Reid.

Then, there was no need to greet them.

Samara retracted her gaze and walked forward without looking back.

Just as she reached the door, a sharp female voice came from behind her, “Why are you

here?”

Samara was no stranger to this voice. During her three years in the Humphrey family, she could hear this voice in the morning or at dusk.

When Samara heard Gloria’s voice, Samara paused. Just as she stopped, Gloria had already rushed up. “How dare you come back, Samara?”

humiliated.
