FLAME - EPISODE 18

JUNG AERA

I woke up this morning with all smiles as the memory of yesterday flood in. It made my cheek warm as I thought about it. After my morning preparation I rushed out and left two sleeping ladies behind.

I saw a scene of a young guy,probably 20 years of age been dragged towards the field and immediately balls flew in torrents to him,causing him to fall to the ground while the meanies were all laughing and having fun at the expense of the guy pain. I felt for him because I have been through what he is going through. The discrimating act in this college is beyond saving.

I took a cab from my dorm to my faculty since its not a walking distance. After I got out of the cab,I heard someone yell “she has arrived” but I didn’t puy any meaning on it as I felt I wasn’t the one they were referring to.

‘At least I didn’t pass the socialite entrance’,I consoled myself.

“Hey”

I didn’t turn to see who it was.

“Social climber”

I didn’t turn.

I kept praying the person wasn’t calling me and I even quickened my steps.

“Aera!”

I didn’t turn.

‘I just have to get into my class’,I kept mumbling to myself.

“I was calling you”,someone yanked my shoulder and stopped me in my track.

“Is there a law that I must answer who ever calls me?”,I frowned trying to out to put up a bold face but deep inside my heart,I am so scared.

It turns out to be a female and she smirked at me;”You still have some guts to talk. When we are through with you,you might need to replace some teeth”.

I flinched and moved back a little.

“What?”,she grinned at me,”Scared?”.

I didn’t answer her as I let my eyes scan the area,looking for a possible escape but so far,none!

“You can get her now”,the lady announced and three guys whom I didn’t see before,came out from wherever they his.

“You should be ashamed of yourselves….bullying a lady”,I said just to spite them and in return,I received a blinding slap that left a cut at the corner of my lips and me crashing to the floor with a thud.

“Carry her”,the lady ordered and began to walk to a particular direction.

The video of when Aera mask fell off went viral and it angered alot of student including the gay guys who were hoping and living in their fantasy about Jim-in sexuality. The ladies were more then angry,as jealousy and envy made them mad with rage.

How dare Aera steal Jim-in from them!

Without much act,she was able to get their oppa attention and it fueled their anger.

she has barely spent her first semster and her and Jim-in are closer than some student in their 2,3,4 years in college.

Its not fair!!!

That’s what they all thought.

“I had to do cosmetic surgery”

“I did lipsocution because of Jim-in”

“I went under the knife”

A lot of ladies cried and sulked. And with one accord,they all determined to punish Aera till she lay on her sick bed and gratefully,she’d leave Jin college.

They planned alot of brutality with no ounce of pity for the lady in question. The assault is to be handled by the new and reigning bully queen– Kim Nana! Everyone knows her to be vicious and temperamental.

JUNG AERA

The guy who carried me dropped me at the swim pool that is used for teaching students how to swim.

I shivered in fright……I don’t know how to swim!

“You are finally here”,a lady stepped out from her hiding spot and so did various people.

“What have I done?”,my voice came out shaky.

“I’ll tell you!”,a guy who talks like a girl glared at me. At closer look,one could say he is gay.

“You snatched Jim-in from us! Who the hell do you think you are? I know it has gotten into your head and we are here to beat the daylight out of you since you don’t know your place”.

A tear fell from my face.

Why am I been treated like I killed someone!

Can’t I go out with whom I please?

From now on,I’d avoid the three of them….I always get into trouble because of them.

“Am sorry”,I apologized,maybe they’d let me go.

“I promise to steer clear from their path. I promise”,I clamped my hand together to plea.

“Too late”,the lady called Kim Nana snapped at me.

“Now!”,she yelled and immediately water balloons started to fly to my direction and burst. Turns out the balloon was filled with paint.

Next came eggs in their numbers hitting me with so much force. Out of instinct I laid on the floor and curled into a ball. They laughed at what I did.

“Stop”,I heard her yell and everyone did as she said.

She walked up to me and stood talk with pride and looked down at me with disgust.

“Ahhhhhhhh!!!!!”,I screamed in pain as she stepped on my palm with her heel,squeezing and turning her penciled heel on my palm.

“Ahh…please”,I sobbed profusely as I felt my so much pain in my palm.

“Please….stop”,I yelled in between my tears.

“Why?”,she frowned. “Am having fun”,she added and exerted more pressure to my palm with her heeled shoe.

Just when I thought I won’t feel my palm anymore,she stopped and dragged me up to stand,I didn’t stop crying as the pain was huge for me to bear.

“You can continue”,Kim Nana waved her hands at the mob.

Gladly,they continued as sticks and stones rained on me and I used my only functional hand to protect my face,since my other hand is numb,thanks to my aching palm. My method of covering my face didn’t work as some sticks still managed to hit me.

“Time for round two”,Kim Nana grinned.

I couldn’t help the tears from flowing. Right now,I wish for nothing but death as the pain and misery is too much for me to bear. All I wanted was to be loved but I didn’t get that and when I got admission to Jin college,I began to think maybe God has finally answered my prayer,at least I’d get a better life for myself after I graduate from college but now I don’t know maybe I am been pushed into the deepest part of hell.

I was pushed to stand and then one by one,they will hit me with a basketball and I’d fall to my feet and the next person will push me up and hit me with a basketball,this went one as everyone did and I was left with only Kim Nana who hasn’t hit me with a ball. I have bruises all over my body and even my face. Most people targeted my leg with the ball and so my leg gave away and I will always fall face flat to the marbled floor while some will just hit me straight in the face.

I just feel like I should die and be free from this torture….isn’t that better?

“Time to end this”,she smirked at me.

She ordered three guys to hold me at the tip of the pool as she twirled the ball in her hand languidly,her expression filled with delight of what she is about to do. I looked at her and noticed she has the same look like the other people who tortured me – No ounce of pity or remorse!

“You ready?”,she darts her eyes to me and even winked.

She twirled and with much fierce power than the others,she threw the ball to my face and everything went blank as I fell into the pool.

I closed my eyes as I felt my consciousness slipping from me and I surrendering to the blackness threatening to overwhelm me.

Its over right?

Then I felt a hand pulling me and the ts when I surrendered to the blackness.

Black out!!!……..
