FLAME - EPISODE 13

After falling to the floor,I winced. Its been long I got hurt.

She crouched beside me and asked if i am hurting anywhere.

I looked down on my knee and saw that my skin has been grazed and the trouser tore around my knee.

“Am sorry”,she mumbled and tried helping me stand.

I stood and worked my jaw in anger.

“Who threw that ball?”,I yelled.

Everyone kept mute.

“Who threw the damn ball”,I roared again and Aera flinched beside me.

I looked at her and she stared back at me with those fright filled eyes.

I smirked.

“If I should I repeat myself….”,I growled.

“Its I”,a lady stepped out and was visibly shaking.

“Am sorry….I had no choice. The bully queens asked me to do that”,she pleased and even knelt on the floor.

I chuckled and stared at the lady kneeling quite close to me.

“So you fear them than I…how nice”,I chuckled softly anf faced Aera.

“Wait for me outside! It will only take a minute”,I told her and she nodded hastily.

Not even waiting for me to repeat myself.

I smiled as I watched her scurry away like a drenched rabbit.

MInutes later….

I met her sitting on bench while swinging her legs,back and forth. I sat beside her and she flinched and moved away from me.

“What”,I frowned at what she did.

“I don’t bite”,I added and moved close to her.

“You are scary”,she mumbled and it made me chuckle.

“I’ll keep that in mind”,I added.

“Why do you behave nice with me”,she asked me.

“A hug and I’ll answer you”,I grinned at her and she stared at me with her eyes battling on what to do.

She sighed and leaned towards me and hugged me. Before I could even register that as a hug,she moved back.

I only shook my head…at least we are getting somewhere!

“Now tell me”,she mumbled while looking at her feet,probably shy at what she did.

“Cos I like you”,I said and it made her jump abruptly from where she sat and she ran away from me.

I burst into laughter with her reaction.

Does she know she is running towards the socialite main hall?

Authoress POV

Mrs. Jung can be seen pacing in her home with anger and pure fury. For a week now she hasn’t gotten a job. Even the smallest company won’t give her one with her brilliant CV talk less of the big business of Korea.

This is all Aera fault!

The door opened and Ara walked in looking downcast and wretched.

“My daughter…what happened!”,Mrs.Jung rushed to Ara side.

“Mother”,she broke down in tears.

“My baby what is it? You know you can tell mother”,Mrs.Jung patted her gently.

“I was embarrassed today”,she said and went ahead and told her mother about how she won’t be allowed in school for the semester project Because of her fee and worse still her friends abadoned her and even made mockery of her,saying; “I thought you’d take us out! Born a liar always a liar! You are not our friend anymore”.

Mrs. Jung felt pity her daughter. That her daughter had to go through this in school.

“Am so sorry dear”,Mrs Jung tries to pacify her.

Its all Aera fault!

I’ll make her pay,she hasn’t heard the last of me.

“Mom…you have to make Aera suffer for the pain she caused us. Ita her fault we are in this mess”,Ara snarled in anger.

“Of course,my baby. She can’t go Scot free after putting us in trouble”,Mrs Jung also snarled.

Ji-hoo grumbled as he walked and stopped right at the doorstep of Aera’s dorm.

‘Stupid errand’,he muttered in annoyance and opened the door and was shocked at what he is seeing.

It has not been long Seoyeon stepped out of the bathroom without a towel on her. ‘

Besides, Mei isn’t around’,that is what she thought.

She turned her naked body upon hearing the opening of the door

She gasped and cursed seeing Ji-hoo staring intently at her.

She pulled her mattress to cover up what Ji-hoo has already seen.

“‘What in the name of the So’s are you doing in my dorm. A female dorm!”,she raved as she glared daggers at him but Ji-hoo wasn’t moved.

“Its not my fault”,he said and walked fully into the room.

“Ohh….it is mine!”,Seoyeon rolled her eyes in disgust.

“Why didn’t lock your door? You invited trouble to yourself”,he shrugged as a playful grin still tugged at the corner if his lips.

“You bastard”,she snarled and slapped him across his cheek.

“I am not a fan of you and how you use ladies without having an ounce of respect for them. You think I am happy having you in my room and gawking at my body”,she raved as her chest rose up in anger.

“Do you know who I am?”,he chuckled,not seemingly affected by her outburst.

“Who doesn’t know the signature pervert,Ji-hoo of Jin college”,she sneered.

“I love ladies who play hard to get”,he licked his bruised lips.

“And I love kicking ass”,she smirked.

“Now leave!”,she ordered him.

His eyes flew open with shock but he was quick to conceal it.

“I came by to drop Aera’s dress. Tell her its from Taeyhung”,he said and dropped the sealed dress on a bed.

He walked up to Seoyeon who didn’t even back down and kept staring back at him with this death glares.

He was amused and interested in the very first lady who isn’t fawning over him. Every other would have been blushing but this lady with her fiery red hair that Matched her temper- Fierce!

“I know your type”,he smirked and continued,”you want to prove that you don’t want me but your entire being is begging for me”.

Her face scrunched up at his word.

“You’ve got all my attention and I’ll make you beg before I touch you”,his lips curved upward.

Seoyeon pushed him.

“You love living in fantasy”,she said and walked up to him.

She traced his jaw with her fingers while straring at him and lowered her hand to his lips and caressed it gently.

She bent low and his eyes closed with a victorious smirk on his face.

“You’ve got all my attention and the way you react to my touch….”

She stood straight and his eyes snapped open realizing what just happened,his jaw clenched.

“Weakling!”,she spat in disgust.

Ji-hoo cursed and left the room.
