Charlie joked, “Estelle, you absolutely can’t leave. If you do, Jonathan will definitely kick me out to make room for you.”

Estelle glanced at Jonathan and could only nod and say, “Alright, then. I guess I’ll stay.”

As Jonathan headed out, he didn’t forget to remind Estelle, who was following behind him, “Don’t mind whatever Charlie says, just ignore him! Just do whatever you want, and head upstairs after dinner.”

Estelle nodded and asked, “Are you driving yourself?”

“Millard is waiting downstairs.”

“Alright, drive safe!”

Charlie sat in the living room with Emily and laughed, “What do you think of those two?”

Emily, looking at the two at the door, said innocently, “What do you mean?”

Charlie looked at her in surprise and asked, “You’ve never been in love, have you?”

Emily hesitated, then shook her head, “No!”

“No wonder! I guess I’ll have a lot to teach you about how to wrap your future boyfriend around your finger.” Charlie smirked.

Emily frowned and said, “If I were in love, I would be sincere. Why would I want him to be wrapped around my finger?”

Charlie was taken aback but then laughed, “What if he’s cheating you?”

Emily replied, “Then I’ll definitely break up with him!”

Charlie shook his head, laughing, “Silly girl, a man who’s cheating you definitely won’t let you realize it. So, you need to learn how to see through

them.”

Emily thought for a moment and said, “If it’s that complicated, I’d rather not fall in love!”

-At this time, Estelle came over, and Charlie said with a smile, “Estelle, why don’t you teach Emily? Tell her how you’ve got Jonathan wrapped

around your finger?”

Estelle was startled and said, “What?”

Emily blushed, grabbed Estelle’s arm, and walked her away from Charlie, “He’s just joking. I’m going to cook. Go watch some TV, and dinner will be ready soon.”

Estelle joined Emily in the kitchen and said, “We can cook together, and I’ll help you out!”

“Sure! We haven’t seen each other in days, let’s catch up!”

In the kitchen, while Emily gathered the ingredients, Estelle washed the dishes and fruits.

Emily looked at Estelle and asked cautiously, “Estelle, you and Mr. Lamont, are you…”

Estelle answered calmly, “Yes, just as you suspected.”

Emily was happy for her friend, understanding that Estelle had been joking earlier, “Mr. Lamont is such a great catch, and I can see he really cares for you!”

Estelle smiled and asked, “What about you and Charlie?”

Emily shook her head immediately, “I see him as a friend, nothing more.“”

Estelle nodded, “My relationship with Jonathan is special. Don’t try to follow our path. Try not to fall for Charlie.”

Charlie, with his handsome and gentle appearance, was always able to charm girls. Most girls couldn’t resist him.

Emily replied earnestly, “No worries, he’s got a girlfriend, and I won’t interfere in their relationship. Not to mention, he and Noreen have love

history. While I took care of him, I saw myself as a nurse and him as a patient. Nothing more. Besides…”

Her eyes sparkled as she laughed, “He wouldn’t like me anyway. He said he prefers girls who are, you know…”

Emily gestured, “With bigger boobs!”

Estelle was slightly surprised, “that big?”
