Estelle glanced quickly at Millard, her cheeks slightly flushed. She frowned softly and said. “We are talking about serious matters. Please stay focused Jonathan smiled and told Millard, “Find out where Old Mr. Jarvis lives now and call him to see if he’s available to meet. Also, I heard he likes tea, so prepare some good tea.”

Estelle wanted to suggest that wine might be more useful than tea, but hesitated and didn’t say anything, letting Millard go and prepare tea leaves.

Old Mr. Jarvis lives in the old mansion of the Jarvis family in the southwest of C City, which has a very nice view.

Looking at the scenery around, Jonathan said indifferently, “I didn’t know C City had such places. Old Mr. Jarvis sure knows how to enjoy life.” Estelle raised her eyebrows, and couldn’t agree more!

As the car stopped, Millard received a phone call. After hanging up, he told Jonathan, “Baldrick left here half an hour ago without buying the earrings.” Jonathan nodded slightly, “Let’s knock on the door!”

Millard knocked on the door, and soon a man dressed in a dark gray robe opened the door. His first gaze was at Estelle, and a kind smile appeared in his somewhat cloudy eyes. After a pause, he asked Jonathan, ‘Are you Mr. Lamont? The old master is waiting for you in the front hall, please follow me.”

The old man was the butler of the mansion. He had gray hair, a spinted demeanor, and a calm demeanor, not giving off the vibe of a subordinate at all. Jonathan spoke with grace, “Thank you for having us!”

“No need for formalities, please come in!” The old man smiled, looked at Estelle again, and then turned around to lead them into the yard.
