As soon as I pushed the door open, I saw the light was on in the living room, but there was no one

there. I could only hear a voice coming from the bedroom, sounding like someone was on the phone. I

changed my shoes and prepared to go to the bedroom to greet Rachel.

The bedroom door was left open, and Rachel was sitting cross-legged on the small balcony, making a

something wrong. Who were you calling? Are you in love?”

She shook her head, speaking into the phone, “I have something going on here, thank you for listening

to all my nonsense, I won’t bother you anymore.”

Then, she hastily hung up the phone, looking at me with a face full of shock, her cheeks slightly flushed

from nervousness, “Have…have you had dinner?”

I nodded, “I’ve eaten, how about you? Did you like the dishes I ordered?” I didn’t come back for dinner

that night, so I ordered dishes for her in advance and had them delivered.

She hummed in acknowledgment, knowing what I was about to ask her. But she took the initiative and

asked, “Who did you go to dinner with since you came back so late?”

“Friend,” I began, looking at her, “Did you really fall in love?”
