Henry’s face stiffened, saying, “Mr. William has seen countless sceneries, how could he take a liking to the view from my humble abode? But since you’ve asked, I’ll take it as a compliment.”

After speaking, he glanced at Ethan. The man was a cunning one, grinning at William, he said, “Young Master, let me lead the way for you.”

William gave a slight nod, glanced at Henry, and then led me to follow Ethan up to the rooftop.

The castle was located in the center of the lake. The view from the top floor was, of course, breathtaking. The lake water was emerald green, with a few yachts swaying in the lake, slowly heading towards the distant valley.

Saying so, he hurriedly walked towards me, intending to pull me. I originally wanted to walk away, but seeing his reaction, I couldn’t help but feel curious. I couldn’t resist glancing at the wooden door under the spire.

Suddenly realizing that someone might be locked inside, he almost didn’t think twice and ran towards the wooden door.

For a moment, I couldn’t help but retch, but thinking that Rachel might be in trouble inside, I quickly opened my mouth and shouted,

“Rachel!”

I didn’t hear Rachel’s response, I only heard a whimpering sound coming from inside.

Ignoring my fear of the unknown, I entered the spire. But suddenly, a wave of terror rushed over me. In an instant, I saw a gaping, bloody mouth lunging towards me.

“Ah!” I screamed in surprise, stepping back repeatedly. My foot was suddenly tripped by something unknown, and I fell to the ground. without a doubt.

It was only in the moment that the gaping mouth came close to my face that I realized it was a massive Tibetan Mastiff. As I saw it pouncing towards me, I knew it was too late to dodge.

Just as I was about to resign myself to fate, I heard a muffled thud in my ear, followed by the whimpering sound of a Tibetan Mastiff.

When I carefully opened my eyes, the ferocious Tibetan Mastiff was already lying on the ground, panting. I didn’t know where it was hurt, but judging from its appearance, it seemed unable to get up.

I breathed a sigh of relief and turned to look behind me.

Behind him, not far away, a man had appeared at some point. Against the light, his tall figure and handsome features were almost blinding.

I couldn’t see his face clearly, but I knew, apart from William, there was no one else here who would come to my rescue.

Taking a slight breath, I said, “Thank you, big brother.”

“Is everyone okay?” A voice I recognized came from outside the door. It was William’s.

I paused for a moment, looking up again at the person who had saved me. Gradually adjusting to the light here, I saw the person’s face clearly. I froze – Walter.

How could he be here?

“Wasn’t he supposed to be in the hospital?” I found myself unconsciously looking at his tightly bandaged right hand, a pang of pain involuntarily shooting through my heart.

William glanced at me, then asked again, “Is the person okay?”

I snapped back to reality, watching him nod. Realizing that Rachel might still be inside, I didn’t have time to think further. Pointing inside, I said, “Brother, she might still be in there.”
