“Bastard!” Jeremy spat, running out of the store after the guy but immediately he got out, the guy entered an already waiting car which drove off instantly

Jeremy stood, panting heavily while looking at the car number

Bryce and Velvet came out of the store and when he turned to go back, he saw them

“Why were you struggling with him?” Bryce asked

He decided not to answer, he gave Velvet a long look before walking away

Velvet is greatly disturbed for the fact that he looks hurt and his bursted lips, she continued watching him as he walked away, feeling like running to hug him from behind but she controlled herself

“Velvet” Bryce said, facing her but she’s lost staring at Jeremy

” Velvet” he called again, tapping her and that’s when she looked at him

“Huh?”

The Ice cream is still on her lips cos he didn’t get the chance to wipe it earlier

He made to do that but she stepped back and took in her lips, licking it off

“Let’s go back in and get our ice cream bowls” he said

” No” she replied slowly

” Why??”

” I’m not interested in ice cream anymore” she said and started leaving

Bryce watched for a while before following

They got back to the ward and surprisingly Jeremy isn’t there, Velvet became more worried

“You look worried, is something wrong?” Brittany asked

“No, I’m totally fine” she smiled

“Something happened in the store, I dunno why but Jeremy struggled with a guy and chased after him, I’m curious” Bryce said

” There are perverts everywhere these days, he might just be one of them” Rose said

” He doesn’t look like one, the guy looks dangerous” Bryce replied

” Dangerous?” Barbie said

” Yeah,…kind of” Bryce shrugged

” Where’s Jeremy?” Adrian asked

” He left before we came” Bryce said

” Velvet” Chantelle called

Velvet is busy staring into space

“Velvet!” She called again and she breathed hard

“I need to go home, Andie I’m sorry I won’t be able to wait till you get discharged, I’ll see you guys in school tomorrow” she said and quickly left the ward.

Bryce went after her and caught up with her In front of the hospital, he held her hand

“Wait….” He said and she faced him impatiently

“Are you ok?” He asked worriedly

“Yes….” She replied

“Don’t lie to me, you’re not” he said

“I’m….I…

Bryce hugged her immediately and she gasped

“You don’t have to worry, there’s a bathroom in there where I can take a shower, I just want to hug you like this” he said, tightening the hug

” I need to go… please let me go” Velvet said, trying to break free

” Just stay still I beg you, one more minute” Bryce said and she managed to do that

He broke the hug after that and smiled. “Can you follow me to the BMM mansion tommorow?” He asked

“Why?”

“I have something to show you” he replied

” I’ll think about it” she replied

” After school, we’ll go together” he said, trying to study her expression

“Maybe” she replied and rushed to get a cab

She got in and left

Bryce looked at his already red body that’s itching already, he started scratching roughly as he went back into the hospital

Jeremy’s place**

Steve is having his siesta when Velvet got home so she just went to her room straight

She’s sure that Jeremy will be in his room right now so she’s greatly troubled, she walked around her room, unable to sit

“Is he ok?, his lips got bursted, I can’t even think straight” she thought deeply

She suddenly left her room and went to his doorstep, she stayed there and made to open the door but stopped herself

“No.. I planned not to talk to him till he comes back to me” she said and turned to leave but came back again

*But I’m worried, I won’t be able to sleep at night at this rate” she thought and slowly opened the door

He’s on the bed, sleeping

She closed the door slowly and took stealthy steps to his bed, she sat beside him and smiled

“Still as handsome” she whispered, looking at his lips, the wounded area is deeply red,,

“Why did you get hurt?” She said, touching his face lightly and hoping he won’t wake

“I love you a lot and I hate seeing you get hurt” she said, touching his lips too

His lips moved and she quickly removed her hand

“He looks sick” she said sadly

“Please don’t get sick, if you do I’ll get sick too” she said and bent over to him

She kissed his cheek and stood, “nap for as long as possible, you need adequate rest” she said and left the room as slowly as she came

Jeremy opened his eyes immediately and smiled slowly

“I love you more, and I’m sorry for hurting you…. I promise to make things right soon” he said and then he thought about the camera guy again

“Why will he be snapping her pictures?, Is it something shady?, Is he gonna hurt her?, Is he related to her past?..

Next morning*”

He finished dressing up for school and left his room for the dinning room

He had dinner alone last night when he’s sure Velvet and Steve will be in their rooms

He stopped walking when he saw Velvet already in the dinning room

Velvet stared back, wondering if his lips still hurt, it’s still red though not as red as it was yesterday

Jeremy walked to the dinning room and took his seat across her

She sat too, facing him

“Oh my prince and princess!” Steve said happily, coming out of the kitchen with their breakfast

He dropped the tray on the table and served them the meal of bulgogi and rice

“How was your nights?” Steve asked as they picked their spoons

” Fine” they both chorused

“Eat up… Eat well I need to go take care of some things in the kitchen” he said and left

They both ate with awkward silence and when Velvet planned to steal a glance at him, she met him staring already though he quickly looked away

Velvet quickly faced her plate too, eating slowly.

Adrian’s car pulled up In the park and they came out, the ride to school was boring cos when Adrian started talking dirty, Velvet wasn’t In the mood to talk back and Jeremy wasn’t in the mood to complain

“Now guys, who died?” Adrian said

“Ion understand” Jeremy said

“The two of you are behaving like you’re mourning!, The drive was as boring as hell! ” He said

” See ya in class! ” Velvet said and walked away

” Did she get her memory and maybe found out she has a boyfriend then rejected you?” Adrian said and Jeremy laughed

” Silly pervert, let’s go to class” he said and pulled him by his neck

Lunchtime**

” Andie was restricted from coming to school for three days, he still needs to rest” Chantelle said while walking to the cafeteria with Velvet

” Oh” Velvet replied

“Wait….. Is something wrong?, You’ve been like this since you left the hospital yesterday I’m scared” Chantelle said, touching Velvet’s forehead to feel her temperature

“You’re perfectly fine, then is something bothering you?” She asked

” Yes, something is bothering me greatly but you don’t have to worry, I’ll be fine” she replied

*You love keeping things from me” Chantelle said

” It’s payback time, you kept John’s case from me too” Velvet smiled and Chantelle laughed

” Agatha is not in school today again, her sickness must be really serious” Chantelle said Immediately they got to the cafeteria

” Agama is sick? ” Velvet said surprisingly

“Yes, she was in the ward next to Andie at Luna’s hospital” she replied

” Oh…. ” Velvet replied

” I want just pepperoni and pizza, what do you want to eat? ” Chantelle asked

” Ion have an appetite” she replied

“What!” Chantelle said, looking at her surprisingly

” Ice cream? ” She said

” I’m not interested” she replied and Chantelle checked her temperature again

” You’re ok but something is wrong somewhere, you just rejected… Ice cream! ” She said

” I just don’t….

Velvet stopped talking when Jeremy came in with Adrian and he stood too when their eyes met, they started staring

Chantelle saw the scene and sighed, that brought Velvet back and she walked out of the cafeteria immediately

“I’m not interested in food” Jeremy said to Adrian

“Are you sick or something? ” Adrian replied confusedly

Closing hour**

Bryce is already waiting when Velvet got to the park, he decided to go with him earlier

“Thanks for coming” he said

“Let’s go” she smiled and he opened the car door for her, she got in and the driver started the drive home

“You look somehow” he said, observing her mood

“I know … I’m just so unhappy” she replied

” Why? ”

” You don’t have to know, it’s personal” she replied and closed her eyes

” Ok…. ” Bryce said and started staring, her lips look more tempting with her eyes closed and he couldn’t help but imagine a deep kiss with her but he quickly blew it off

The car stopped in front of the big mansion and they both came out of the car

“Whoa!” She said, marvelled at what she’s seeing

“Let’s go in” he said with a cute smile, revealing his dimples

“It’s been long since I saw your dimples” she said

“Meaning you haven’t been giving me much attention, I smile anytime I’m with you and anytime I smile, my dimples reveal” he said

” Oh… Sorry’ she said and he smiled again before pulling her In

“Velvet?” Andie said Immediately they came in, he’s sitting in the living room

“The rest aren’t around yet?” Bryce said

“Yes, but Chantelle is coming over soon, that’s why I’m here but now that the troublemakers are here, I need to go take a nap, tell Chantelle the way to my room once she gets here” he winked before leaving

” Sit” Bryce said and Velvet sat slowly

Bryce went upstairs and changed into something else before coming back

“Ice cream?” He asked

“No I’m not interested right now” she replied

” Really serious” he replied

” I don’t even know why I like ice cream” she replied

“Maybe because it’s sweet” he said.

*Ion think so, I feel like there’s a reason behind it…. So what do you have to show me? ” She asked

” Honestly nothing.. I just wanted to be with you, I’m sorry” he said

“Trickster, why would you want to be with me” she said

” You’re smart but when it comes to feelings, you aren’t…. Velvet I….. ”

” Wait…. ” She said, widening her eyes when a face suddenly came into her memory

The face of a girl whom she saw the other time and this time, she can hear a name in her head…

Minnie

“Minnie” she said and the face appeared in her head again, she’s smiling cutely

And as it continued appearing, she started feeling the great headache again, holding her head

Bryce rushed to hold her in place

“Velvet are you ok?” He asked

“Minnie… who’s Minnie” she whispered and the sharp headache gripped her head again

“My head….no no….damn!” She squinted

“Velvet” Bryce called again and she stood

“I need water on my head, water please!’ she said and he pulled her with him to the nearest bathroom

Immediately she saw a shower, she ran and stayed under it then turn it on, the water streamed down her head down to her body, wetting her allover

Bryce stared like he has never seen her before

Her hair sticked wetly to her face and she never bothered to take them away, she looks hot like that

She stayed like that under the shower and soon, the headache disappeared

She breathed hard and looked up

“Thanks for bringing me here, I’m ok now” she smiled

Bryce never replied before taking just three steps to Join her under the shower, he slammed her back on the bathroom wall gently and captured her small lips, kissing her tenderly

Velvet opened her eyes, looking at his closed eyes and she started imagining him as Jeremy

“Jeremy?” She thought in her head and her eyes went shut too

Since the shower is still running, Bryce has no issues with his allergy, Velvet kissed him back and that geared up his feelings

He held her waist and she moaned softly, raking her hands through his hair, pulling him closer

To her, she’s kissing Jeremy

Bryce hardened it, sliding in his tongue into her mouth, she sucked sweetly on it and he groaned as she did,, the shower kept running, wetting them both

He sucked on her bottom lip and she gasped, moaning gently again when he took in her whole lips into his mouth, kissing her desperately

“Oh my…… Jeremy” she moaned silently, Bryce heard but pretended like he didn’t

Velvet slipped her hands under his shirt and caressed his body but this is definitely different from Jeremy’s

The abs aren’t the same, totally different, and what she felt when she touched Jeremy didn’t happen

She slowly broke it, breathing heavily with her swollen lips and when she saw it’s Bryce, she stepped back

“Velvet…” Bryce muttered

“No….” She said and rushed out of the bathroom….
