Velvet heart won’t stop thudding on her ribcage as they kissed more hard

Not until a soft gasp escaped her lips and Jeremy opened his eyes

He slowly broke the kiss but they kept staring at each other

“Jeremy..” Velvet whispered and captured his lips again, Jeremy couldn’t help but respond, she’s too hard to resist and maybe he wants it too

He can feel his heavy heartbeats in his chest

“Velvet!” Came Chantelle’s voice from afar and Jeremy broke it before she could get to them

Their lips are swollen red as a result already

“Velvet!” Chantelle called again, finally appearing

” Chantelle* Velvet said and Chantelle rushed to give her a tight hug

“Where were you, I’ve been so worried…. Are you ok?” She asked, breaking the hug to check her out

“I’m ok, I just passed out when something blocked my nose from behind, I dunno who” she replied

” Blocked your nose?, Then? ”

” I passed out” she replied

” That sounds suspicious” Chantelle said and looked at Jeremy

“Thanks for finding her crybaby” she said

” Crybaby?” Velvet said

” Chantelle shut up” Jeremy said, feeling embarrassed

” He almost cried, he had tears in his eyes already when we couldn’t find you but he wiped it before it could fall” Chantelle said

” F*ck you” Jeremy said, leading the way out

Velvet held his hand suddenly and he looked back

“Thanks” she said

“It’s ok…let’s go” he replied with a smile

Chantelle followed them behind as they left the forest when the cops are just arriving

“Velvet” Bryce almost screamed, feeling good that she’s safe

“You must have been so worried, I’m sorry I passed out” she said

” It’s ok now” Mr Lauren told the cops and they left

“Are you ok?” Mr Lauren asked

“Absolutely” she replied

” Be careful next time,you got us all worried” he said, his arms akimbo

” I’m sorry” she bowed

” Jeremy and Rose won this round….. You both will be the ambassadors for your set” Mr Lauren said

” Seriously?” Rose said

“Yes, that’s always the prize for this game, see you both tommorow during the swimming competition” Mr Lauren said and left first

” Thanks Mr Lauren!” They chorused

” Can’t believe I lost, I climbed close to five grapes trees” Quan said and Barbie laughed

” Sowwy Ape” she said, leaving already

“I’m sorry” Bryce said to Velvet

“It’s ok”

“I should have been more watchful” he said

“Don’t feel bad, it’s not your fault” she replied and touched his hair like a mother will touch her kid’s hair

“Good puppy” she said and winked before pulling Chantelle away

” How cute” Bryce said, leaving with the others

Somewhere in Paris**

Minnie is sitting on the bed, holding Nella’s teddy to her chest while looking around the room

It’s been over a month now since Nella suddenly went missing and no matter how the cops try, she wasn’t found

Her dad is out again, probably to ask the cops about the latest development

She stood and took their picture frame on the wall

The picture she took with Nella when they were still young

“My chubby angel….where are you, I just miss you so much, please come back home” she lamented, crying slowly and letting her tears fall on the frame

She wiped her tears but another round fell .

*This house is too big for only me, you have to come back, your cars are missing your crazy driving, your baby Ferrari is missing you too….your teddies miss your hold and I miss you more than anyone of them, your admission to Focus high school is wasting, I’m the only one going to school and it’s just so boring I swear, please come back” Minnie cried sadly

She went to the bed and sat with the frame, staring at the once chubby Nella

“Now that you slimmed down, now that you attained the fitness you’ve always wanted after getting humiliated, you left me it’s unfair” she cried

” You told me your trauma meant nothing, you told me you’ll try your best to forget it even if it’s not easy but you left me here to miss you Nella it’s unfair…. it’s f*cking unfair!!!” She screamed, throwing away the teddy frustratingly

Mr Evans Todd entered the room and held her to himself, hugging her teary face to his chest

“Minnie calm down…. Nella will be found I promise” he said, trying to calm her

She broke the hug and held his hand

“Dad, did the police find leads?, Did they find my cousin already?, She’s ok right?, Huh?, Please say something!” She screamed, shedding tears again

Evans hugged her again and she continued crying

“I’m lonely, I can’t do without her anymore, I badly want to see her again, was she kidnapped by the bad guys again?, Did she run away cos of her trauma?, Dad I want to see Nella, I want her to come back home!” See cried loudly, her hot tears wetting Evan’s chest

“I’m sorry, you’ve been crying like this since she went lost, just take a break please Minnie, she’ll be found, Minnie please…. just calm” Evans said, coaxing her gently…

Caledonia…. back in the lodge**

“Brittany is sick?” Velvet and Chantelle chorused surprisingly when Adrian told them

“She’s got headache and flu” he replied

“I just knew it, she was acting strange in the morning” Barbie said, rushing into the room only to see Brittany eating noodles hungrily

“Did you play tricks?” Velvet asked, pinching Adrian

” I forgot to use the right tense…I meant to say she was sick” Adrian grinned, biting his lip

” I’m ok now guys, how was the hunt?, Who’s our ambassador?” Brittany asked eagerly

” Rose and Jeremy” Chantelle said

” Cool!, I’d have got it if I went” she replied, eating from her noodles

*I’m so hungry” Velvet said, going closer to her, she snatched the noodles plate from Brittany and rushed out of the room

“Velvet!, Snitch!” Brittany shouted after her, giggling at the same time

The rest left the room except Adrian

“Thanks for taking care of me, you were cool” Brittany said

“Thanks for getting well” Adrian replied and Brittany stood from the bed, she walked to him and hugged him

Adrian was caught off guard but he slowly hugged her back

She stayed like that till Barbie came in

“Oh!, I’m sorry!” She said and left immediately

Brittany broke the hug and smiled at Adrian

“Thanks once again” she said

“It’s my pleasure, don’t get sick anymore” he replied with a serious face

“If you don’t give me a reason to” she replied

” Me?” He said

” It’s nothing” she smiled and he slowly left the room

Brittany jumped on the bed happily and Barbie came in, passing by Adrian

She suddenly held him and he stopped to look at her

“Barbie” he said and she quickly let him go

“I’m sorry” she said and entered fully, Brittany is still jubilating on the bed

She fell heavily on the bed too and Brittany sat up

“He cooked noodles for me by himself, he served me juice when I wanted it, he served me water too and when I said my hair is a problem, he helped me tie it into a bun” she said, touching her hair

” He’s awesome” Barbie murmured, closing her eyes

“I know right?” Brittany replied, sleeping back

Dinnertime**

“Where’s Velvet?” Jeremy asked on getting to the dinning room, Velvet isn’t there yet

*She’s in the room” Chantelle replied and Jeremy left for the room

Andie came and hesitated before sitting beside Chantelle

She stood to go sit on another chair but he held her arm, stopping her

“I should be the one leaving….but it really hurts seeing you do this” he said slowly and stood

He went to another chair and sat slowly

Chantelle stole glances at him, wishing she hadn’t made that move, he looks hurt

Jeremy got to the room and surprisingly, Bryce is in there with her, dressing her wound

He stood by the door and Velvet waved at him

“He offered to help even when I declined, he insisted” she said

Jeremy went in and pulled her up from the bed, the first aid kit fell and all the contents poured down

Bryce stood too, facing him

“I was planning to do this after dinner” Jeremy said

“Is it a taboo to do it too?” Bryce replied

” Think whatever you like” Jeremy replied and took her out of the room

He stopped when they got out and faced her

“What?” Velvet asked, looking at his seriousness

“I really don’t like it when you both get too close” he said seriously

“Oh baby….he means no harm” she said

*I know, but even at that, I can’t help but feel somehow” he replied

“Get used to it, I can’t stay away from him cos he’s one of us” she winked

” Stop acting cute whenever I’m serious, stop bribing me with cuteness’ he said

” That was delicious the other time” she winked again

” What was delicious?”

” The kiss…your lips!” She said fast and rushed out of the place

Jeremy smiled and touched his lips lightly

“Really delicious” he said, licking his lips as he walked to the dinning.

Next day*”

” Whoa!, Velvet you look so hot in the swimming trunk” Brittany said, checking her out in the cubicle as they got dressed for the swimming competition

“You must’nt compete, your knees aren’t totally fine yet” Chantelle said

” I’ll just watch you guys compete while swimming on my own” she replied

” Better, Jeremy won’t allow you even if you want to” Barbie said

” He acts like an overprotective boyfriend right?” Velvet said

” Right… girls let’s go” Brittany said, leading the way out while Chantelle and Barbie followed

Velvet checked herself out in the mirror and smiled

“I gat hips,….I’m noticing that for the first time” she said, admiring her figure

The door opened and Bryce peeped in

“Bryce?” She said and he came in fully, he’s wearing only the swimming tights, fit to his laps

“This is the female cubicle” she said as he continued moving closer

She looks different and hotter, the fact that she’s licking her lower lip right now is enough to make any guy fall, she totally took his breath away instantly

He kept staring as he advanced towards her slowly

“What?, I told you this is the girls cubicle, want me to smack you?” She said jokingly but he kept coming till he got to her and stared down at her in a different way

He let his eyes loosen as if to pour affection on her and before she knew it, he already grabbed her waist to himself

“What are you doing.. let me go” Velvet said and that started the headache again, her head started making loud noises immediately but Bryce captured her lips already, kissing her lips hungrily

“Let me go” she said in her mind, struggling to break free but no matter how much she hits his chest, he still kept devouring her lips and she started seeing things in her head again

“How can she taste so sweet” Bryce thought, not ready to let her go

Velvet’s eyes released slow tears as she saw a chubby school girl in her head, the chubby girl was walking beside a road with tears pouring from her eyes when she got dragged into a car suddenly

“Let me go!, Let me go!” The girl screamed as she was dragged in and the car zoomed off fast

Velvet felt like her head is about to explode, Bryce is still kissing her hard but she gathered enough strength after she saw that scene, she pushed him away and he staggered, breathing heavily

Velvet held her head tight, releasing more tears from her eyes

“Let me go…” She whispered , facing the ground

“Velvet” Bryce said, trying to come closer

“Don’t come closer!….let me go!, My head!” She screamed in tears, blood coming out of her nose already

“Let me go!!!!, Just let me go!!” She screamed, seeing the face of the chubby girl again

“I’m not holding you” Bryce said fearfully.

“Let me go don’t do this to me!, Let me go!, Please let me go!!!!!, Please!!!!” She screamed in tears, more blood coming out of her nose

Bryce made to come closer but Jeremy and the others rushed in

“Velvet!” Jeremy exclaimed, rushing to her, he held her face, staring at her tears and bloody nose

“Velvet” he whispered, shocked at what he’s seeing

Velvet hugged him tightly instantly

“Please don’t leave me…stay like this, I’m so scared, very scared right now…. don’t let them take me away…..stay I beg you” she asked, hugging him more tightly, leaving everyone in confusion.
