ENTRAPPED WITH YOU - EPISODE 36 AND 37

Bryce’s hearts skipped numerous beats as Velvet’s fresh breath brushed past his lips, their eyes widened in front of each other and she stood still in her position, staring shockingly at him

Bryce’s eyes travelled to her lips and he wondered if it was sculptured by a divine sculpture, the shape is rare just like his lips and strangely he started imagining how it’ll taste

The air became awkward and tensed, Velvet was the first to sprang up and run upstairs before he could say anything

Bryce stood and touched his laps slightly. “Shit!, Itching again….. This shit again!” He yelled, almost shedding tears as he started scratching his body

“Can’t this just end already?, Why must I suffer like this all because of a f*cking allergy!, I’m tired! ” He yelled, hitting his leg on the table while tears rolled down his eyes

His body turned red already as a result of the scratching,,

“I’m a human!, Not a robot!, Even robot gets touched, why am I so f*cked up! ” He yelled again

” Bryce” Rose said, rushing downstairs

She actually heard his voice from her sleep

Bryce faced her with his teary eyes and Rose gasped, seeing his tears and his body redness

“Bryce…what. . why’s your body like this?, Who touched you?, Why are you crying?” She asked, coming closer and looking up at him

” I’m the most pathetic human on Earth right?, I must have came as a bomb in my past life, that’s why I can’t associate, Rose…..I’m suffering, I want to feel touches too like a human, I want to mix with others like a real human, I want to behave like a human but it’s just impossible with this f*cking allergy!, Damn, I’m going crazy” he said, still crying while scratching his body slowly

Rose took a step closer to him and hugged him

“I understand how you feel, I understand that feeling when you can’t do what you wish to do, I do understand a lot but please…stop crying, stop the tears I beg you, it hurts to see you crying” she said, breaking the hug to wipe his tears

” I need to take a shower, if not, I’m gonna have to scratch my skin off my body” he said and Rose slowly removed her hand from his face

“Ok….” She said and he rushed to his room

Rose sat dejectedly, feeling sad and wishing she could just end his suffering right now, she’s unaware of when she started crying slowly

Her tears fell on her PJs and she touched her face to feel the tears

“Oh…. I’m crying?” She said and wiped it quickly

“Of course I should….I hate seeing him suffering” she thought and and continued crying.

Velvet got back to her room and sat on the chair in front of the dressing table

She stared at her face in the mirror and sighed

“What just happened downstairs?” She thought, remembering the scene.

” What was that look on his face back then?, Gosh!, Velvet calm down…. Easy” she said, breathing in and out before blowing out air from her mouth

” Ok…. It’s nothing but…. Wait!” She said, remembering she actually sat on his laps and touched his chest,,

Her eyes widened and she spranged up

“What should I do?, I caused him discomfort again, What should I do?, Just what should I do! ” She said, scattering her hair all-over her face

” Ok Velvet… You’re done for” she said and fell on the bed

“Stop being noisy will you? ” Chantelle said sleepily, changing her sleeping posture before sleeping off again

“You don’t understand what I’m going through” she said and covered her head with the teddy on the bed

Next morning**

Bryce woke up feeling better, thanks to sedatives, he wouldn’t have been able to sleep a wink till daybreak

He yawned lightly before getting off bed but surprisingly, Rose is sitting on a chair beside the bed, she’s asleep already and her neck is thrown backwards on the chair

“When did she come in?” He wondered loudly

*You’re awake” Rose said, opening her eyes

“When did you come here?” He asked

“Midnight, when I couldn’t sleep, I was worried so I had to come check on you…I slept off on the chair” she replied, standing up

She made to touch her his forehead and feel his temperature but she stopped herself and stepped back

“Your skin is back” she said, looking at his arm

“Yes, I have a great skin so it gets better overnight” he smiled

” I see…. today is the leg race, are you racing?” She asked

” Yes, everyone is doing it, I want to do it too” he replied

” Me too” she replied and smiled

” Thanks” he said

” Why?”

He moved closer and touched her hair, making her blush again

“Last night” he said

“Oh…..I’m glad you’re ok now” she smiled

” You should go dress up, I’ll dress up too” he said and she rushed out

Bryce entered the bathroom with a smile on his face

“Today is leg race, I can’t miss it for p*ssy” Adrian said as he came out of the room with Jeremy, Andie is out already, sitting at the dinning room

Velvet and Chantelle came out of their room, wearing shorts and singlets on sneakers then bandana on their hairs, they both rolled their hairs up to neat buns

“How can you both look s*xy in everything?” Adrian said and Jeremy smiled at Velvet before noticing her shoe laces, they weren’t tied well

“That kid” he said and went to her, he poked her forehead with his finger and she threw her head back before facing him again

“You want to scold me again?” She said, curving her lips

Jeremy bent in front of her and started doing the laces, she can feel her heavy heartbeats as he did, she bit down on her lips and tightened her fist

“Your heart must be beating seven times per second right now” Chantelle winked at her and left for the dinning

” That beautiful witch” Velvet muttered as Jeremy finished up and stood

” Be careful with your shoe laces, you might mistakenly step on it and fall” he said and she nodded

Then he noticed a lipstick stain on her earlobe

“Gosh, are you a kid?, Why are you growing clumsy these days?, Why would you stain your ear with lipstick?, Is lipstick for the ear?” He said and she pouted

*It was a mistake, stop scolding” she said and made to touch her ear but he hit her hand away

“I’ll do it, not like you know where the stain is” he said and wiped the stain with his hand, she almost melted on her spot

How can his touch be so… magical, making her whole body shiver like there’s cold

Bryce came out of his room and was about to go to the dinning when he saw them, he stopped to stare for sometime, feeling just something he couldn’t pinpoint, Rose came out and swat his hand

“Breakfast” she said

“Let’s go” he replied, leading the way to the dinning

Jeremy finished up and started checking out every part of her

“Since I have to check you out like a baby now, let me do it” he said and turned her around before holding her shoulders

“Don’t race” he said

“What do you mean by that?, Everyone is doing it so I’m doing it too, why do you think I’m dressed like this” she replied

” Grandpa told me to watch over you, you might fall or get hurt somehow while running, don’t do it” he said

” I want to” she replied with a cute smile

” Don’t”

” I will…. please baby” she said, puckering her lips and that made him stop to stare at her for a moment

“Why do you have to look so cute?, How do you manage to make your charms work on me you troublemaker” he said and she smiled

” Cos I’m Velvet, soft and delicate” she said

“Now that I think about it, that name doesn’t suit you, you should bear Jackie Rice instead” Jeremy said

“Jackie Rice isn’t bad” she said

” Sure it isn’t, since it has food in it” he replied and she smiled again

” Come here” he said and pulled her to a hug which made her heart race again

“Don’t get hurt ok?” He said

“Ok baby” she replied as he broke the hug

” Let’s go for breakfast” he said and made to go but she quickly pecked his cheek before rushing away

Jeremy stood still and rubbed his cheeks

“What was that?, Gosh!, How can a girl manage to be cute and adorable at the same time, she’s sure driving me crazy” he thought, walking slowly to the dinning

Dinning**

Velvet sat beside Bryce since that’s the next empty sit, she looked at him and found him staring already

“Good…. morning” she smiled awkwardly

“Did you later sleep?” He asked

“Huh?, Later?…oh.. yeah I did” she replied awkwardly

” Later?, Meaning they met last night…she was the one who touched him” Rose thought, eating slowly.

” Enjoy your meal” Bryce said and Velvet nodded

Jeremy settled beside her and Andie sighed

“Why are those two ugly babes not out yet” he said

“Did you just call Brittany and Barbie ugly babes?, I can’t believe this” Adrian replied

” What?, Are you fighting for them cos you’re crushing on one of them?” Andie said

” Obviously” Adrian replied and bit his lips

” We’re finally getting there, so Rose is out of it, your crush is either Brittany or Barbie” Bryce said

” Gosh!, You guys are frustrating” Adrian said

“To me….my Chantelle is the only cute girl in this lodge” Andie said and Chantelle almost threw her spoon at him

” Stop joking who’s your Chantelle” she frowned

“Oh no she’s frowning” Andie smiled and winked

” Your smile makes me sick” Chantelle said

“Yours heal me, how strange” Andie said

“Just eat and stop trying to make me hit you” Chantelle said and Andie smiled

” The twins from different mothers are here” Velvet said and Adria’s mouth dropped open as Brittany came out with Barbie

Their singlets is fitting and tummy revealing… showing Brittany’s navel ring, then they’re wearing tight leggings, and their hair were tied to a ponytail

“Goodness” Adrian muttered

“You’re confusing me, I’m trying to trace your eyes and find out the one you’re actually staring at among the two but I can’t even get it, how smart” Andie said

” You might have found out that my crush is one of them, but the one I love will only be revealed by me, don’t stress yourself” Adrian winked as they both sat beside him

” Watssup babes” he said

“Good morning” they both said at a time

“You both look too good” he said

” Thanks” they both replied at once again

” Adrian is pulling a dangerous stunt, I hope you’ll be able to handle where this is going” Jeremy muttered

” My babies” Brittany blew kisses at Chantelle and Velvet, they returned it with smiles

“Morning everyone!” Barbie blew kisses to everyone

“I can’t believe this, so Brittany I don’t deserve a kiss?” Rose said

” Jealousy” Velvet said

” Whatever” Rose replied and Brittany gave her a secret air kiss

She smiled and winked

“So now, everyone here is partaking in the race, I can’t believe this” Bryce said.

” Let’s see how it goes, someone from this villa must get the prize” Adrian said

” So what’s the prize?” Chantelle asked

“The winner asks anything she wants from the school, last year Agatha won, she asked for a lavender coloured sports car” Barbie said

” That witch, how did she expect that rare colour to be found” Adrian said

” I guess she just wanted to punish she school, principal Walt had to pay a lot for the car to be made in the automobile industry” Brittany said

” That’s crazy, if anyone wins in this lodge, ask for something beneficial to all of us” Jeremy said

” Like?” Bryce asked

” A mansion” Jeremy replied

” Not like you don’t have a house” Bryce replied

” A trip to Paris” Jeremy said

” I can send you to Paris if you want” Bryce replied

” Expensive wine” Jeremy said

” I can buy hundred types of it” Bryce replied

“Shopping spree” Jeremy said.

” How much do you want?, I can give you and you’ll go to the biggest boutique in Spain to shop” Bryce replied

” A gun” Jeremy said, standing up

” I can buy millions of it if you need it” Bryce replied, standing too

” What’s happening” Andie wondered

“The handwriting is clear on the wall if you have a good eyesight, this will be more interesting than I thought” Adrian replied with a smile

” There’s nothing on the wall” Andie said, looking at it

” You’re unexpectedly dumb” Adrian said and Andie hit him

“Then your pride” Jeremy said

“How can my pride be a prize for a running competition” Bryce said

” You seem to have everything and it looks like you can let go of everything too, then let go of your pride” Jeremy said

” He’s pissing me off.. honestly I don’t like you from the start” Bryce said

” And who lied to you that I like you?” Jeremy replied

” Enough!” Velvet and Rose shouted at the same time

“We’ll meet on the field everyone” Jeremy said and left the lodge

” Me too” Bryce said and left too

“What was that about” Chantelle said

“I don’t understand either” Brittany said

Field**

“Line up for your pairing!, There’ll be just four groups since only twelve people registered for the race…. group A-D, three per group, meaning the baton will be passed twice before the finish line” Mr Lauren said and they all stood in a single line

Agatha’s eyes met with Velvet’s and she smirked

“Eyes on you” Velvet muttered

“I should be saying that” Agatha smiled, looking at the banana with her

Velvet saw Peyton and waved slowly with a smile

Surprisingly, Peyton smiled back lightly but when Agatha appeared, she stopped smiling.

“Such a dumb brute and a stooge” Velvet muttered

Bryce looked at Jeremy and Jeremy gave him smirks which he returned

“Let’s see how capable you are* Bryce said

” I know you won’t match up to my expectations, disappoint me please” Jeremy said

Brittany, Velvet and Bryce fell in one group….A

Rose, Agatha and Jeremy….B

Barbie, Chantelle, Adrian… C

Peyton, Mia, Andie…D

“Choose your positions within five minutes, let’s make this fast” Mr Lauren said

” I’ll be the first leg” Velvet said

” I’ll be the second” Brittany said

” Then I’m the last leg to the finishing line?” Bryce said

” Sure” Velvet and Brittany chorused

“I’ll be the first leg for our team” Rose said”

“I’ll be the second leg” Agatha said

“Then I’m the last, to the finishing line” Jeremy said, raising up a part of his shirt, Agatha gasped and swallowed hard, seeing the beautiful abs again

She coughed and quickly drank from her bottled water.

“For this team, I’m the first leg” Chantelle said

” Then I take the second” Barbie replied

“I’ll be the last, to the finishing line” Adrian replied…

“I’ll take the first for our team” Mia said

” Second” Peyton replied

” Last, to the finishing line” Andie replied and faced Peyton

” Hey” he waved and she waved back

She made to leave but he held her

” I’m sorry” he said sincerely

“Sorry?, To me?” Peyton said shockingly

“I accused you wrongly, I couldn’t even sleep well last night, I hate feeling guilty so I thought I should apologise” he said

” Oh… it’s fine” she said shyly, loving the feel on his hold on her hand

“Really?” Andie asked

“Of course” she replied

Andie let go of her and started leaving but suddenly looked at her again

“It’ll be better if you stop being friends with Agatha, you’re a good person” he said

” We’re family friends so…

“I know you won’t do it… Anyways it’s fine, do a good job in the race” he said and she smiled

” Definitely”

Five minutes later**

The runners are set, all in their positions on the tracks, the first legs are bending down already, waiting for the whistle so they can move

The rest of the students are watching with anticipation, already guessing who’ll win

The cheerleaders are already cheering for who they support and the whole field is crowded with other people from the island

“All set?” Mr Lauren said

“Yes!” The first legs (Velvet, Rose, Chantelle and Mia) replied

Mr Lauren waited a minute before blowing the whistle and they all took to their heels, running so fast and the place got loud with screams for Rose

She’s leading while Velvet is behind her, Mia and Chantelle are on same line

Velvet kept trying to catch up with Rose but her legs are longer so it’s a bit difficult at first

People kept hailing Rose and she added to her speed, determined not to let Velvet ever be ahead of her

Then Velvet started catching up slowly, just when she was about to cross Rose, she slipped on something and fell, it’s a banana peel

She hurt her wrist and knees

“Velvet!” Jeremy shouted, wanting to go to her but Velvet spranged up

By now, Rose has passed the baton to Agatha and Agatha is already going

Chantelle has passed the baton to Barbie and Mia has given it to Peyton

Despite the pains and bleeding, Velvet ran the remaining space to pass the baton to Brittany who went ahead of Agatha in no time

Barbie is leading and people are screaming her name but in few minutes, Brittany crossed her too so now Brittany is leading with Barbie behind her, Agatha is third while Peyton is last

The last legs are already impatient for the baton and are already pointing their hands forward

Brittany got to Bryce first and passed the baton to him, Bryce bolted off like flash

Barbie passed the baton to Adrian and Agatha passed the baton to Jeremy….

Peyton passed to Andie and they all started the chase…..after Bryce.
