“The Sleep Over”
At Angella Benson’s House

“Wow! This Human Hair Wig looks good!” Cynthia exclaimed when they all stepped into Angella’s room. She rushed to the Mannequin which was placed on the dressing table.

“Is this for you..Or mommy?” She asked

“its mine” Angella replied
“Well..can you afford a hair like this..?” She asked without looking away from the wavy brown hair.

Angella exchanged glances with her girls. She didn’t like the way Cynthia looked down on her.

“I can afford anything” she snapped at Cynthia
Elizabeth nugded Caroline’s side so she would control her cousin.
She was too t©uçhy, accessing everything on the dressing table.
“I have this perfume and hair spray” she said
Cynthia talked about all the products on the table.
“This is the old model of this..”

“There’s a lastest version of that..”
“..And this is fake and I have the original”
Angella frowned at her.

And Cynthia was alre-ady getting on Angella’s nerves.
“Cynthia..can you stay away from those things.. plea-se” Caroline cautioned

“Why?” She asked

“Angella doesn’t like people tou-ching her stuffs anyhow” Caroline explained
Cynthia looked at them
“Is that true?” She asked
Moving away from the table.

“Yes I don’t like people tou-ching and running throu-gh my things” Angella snatched the eye pencil from her.

“Most especially..My eye pencils”

“Its fake” Cynthia mocked
“Cynthia!” Caroline growled

“What?! I’m only trying to let her know that some of these things are Fake. I can introduce some better products. And I’m trying to be friendly too” she said

“Do it in a nice way” Lizzy Said
“In case you don’t know..I buy my makeup from House Of Tara. So they are not fake” Angella said
Cynthia Whistled

“plea-se don’t t©uçh anything”
Angella cautioned before heading to the bathroom.

“What’s wrong with you?”
Caroline questioned
“I didn’t do anything”

“Don’t make me regret bringing you to my friend’s place” Caroline said with raised tone.
“Your friend?” Cynthia snorted

“She’s too proud and bossy. What’s with the rule, Don’t t©uçh Anything” She mimicked Angella

“Don’t talk bad about Angella” Lizzy cautioned
“And what are you girls to her? Handbags?. You see her as a demi god” Cynthia laughed

“There’s nothing special about Angella Benson with the way you are always talking about her. My house is bigger and better off than this whole damn building” Cynthia said with serious face.

The bathroom door opened and they all turned to see Angry Angella in white towel. She heard everything Cynthia had said to her girls.

“Caroline,thanks for bringing your cousin over to ruin the rest of my day”

“I’m..So sorry Angella” Caro pleaded
“I want you out of my house this minutes..” She said

“Angella..We tried to -”
Cynthia Whistled again
“Why are you begging her Caroline..St©p acting like a fool!” Cynthia said
“Shut up Cynthia!” Caro screamed at her
She stood up and carried her hold all bag.

“Let’s leave this stinking house”
Cynthia mumbled
Fury crashed over Angella
“Mommy!” She screamed
And her mom c@m£ running in fear.
“What’s wrong?” she asked

“She said our house stings. And she said bad things..really bad things about me. Mom, I want them out of our home right now!” She cried
“I think..You all need to leave..” She said
“I’m so sorry” Caroline apologized.

“I don’t want to see you again!” She pushed them out of her room. And she stormed into the bathroom

She was mad at Cynthia for saying bad things about her. And she was extremely annoyed at her girls because they had sat and listened to Cynthia’s bad talks. Angella had really hoped she and
Cynthia would get along well but she was mistaken! She realized that Cynthia wasn’t nice at all.

She was even mean and bad than she had thought. Cynthia was one crazy girl!
After hearing Cynthia’s words, Angella decided that she would never be friends with someone like Cynthia. Girls like her aren’t easy to handle or rule over.

She heard a soft knock on the bathroom door
“Angella, it’s late, let them stay till tomorrow. I mean, you girls can talk things out. I’m sure they didn’t mean to hurt you” Her mom pleaded
“No! Throw them out!” She shouted
And her mom went back to the girls outside.

“I’m so sorry, I tried talking to her..but she want you to leave” Mrs Benson said
Lizzy eyed Cynthia angrily
“You see what you’ve caused now. Angella doesn’t want to see us” she said
“Lizzy are you alright?” Cynthia countered
“Cynthia plea-se just be quiet. Mommy, we’ll leave but plea-se Ma apologize to Angella on our behalf” Caro said soberly
“No problem Caroline” she replied
“Usman! Usman!” She called
“Yes Madam”

A man c@m£ over
“plea-se drive them home” she instructed
“Oh thank you Ma”
Caroline thanked Mrs Benson on their knees. And Cynthia was mad at Caroline for acting like Angella’s slave.

“You’re a big fool cousin” Cynthia said when they both stepped into Caroline’s room.

“You’re a fool too Cynthia! See don’t start again. You know that you’ve alre-ady ruined my friendsh!pwith Angella” Caroline said
They had argued all the way home. Lizzy and Caroline blamed her for everything. And she tried to make them un-derstand that Angella was using them.

“Is that why you want to cry? Abeg who your friendsh!pEpp?” Cynthia laughed mockingly
“I don’t blame you” Caroline hissed
“Hmm..See my cousin acting like slave. I’m sure you are richer than Angella Benson but you can’t act like a rich girl because she has blindfolded you with her stupid money”
Cynthia said

“Angella Benson is Super Rich! You don’t know Mr Benson?!”
“Who says am not a rich kid too?! Abeg I don’t know Mr Benson!”
“Do you know Bens Oil?”
“Yes..So what?”

“Angella’s dad owns Bens oil” Caroline answered

“Only Bens oil? See you! So it is oil money that Angella is using to pack your stew” Caroline cl@pped

“Ewo! Cousin you are too dull! Just look at the way you were acting. And see how she kicked you out of her house.. And you call that one your bestfriend. Bestfriend my Foot!” She spat
“Cynthia you caused everything!”

“I intentionally said those things to her so that she won’t thnk she’s the only one that can buy or own good things. Look at the way her dressing mirror is looking cheap. It’s not even cl@ssy and you’re telling me her dad owns Bens Oil. Better be wise like me Caroline. Don’t be a follower! You can be a Boss lady like Angella Benson! You can have girls running your errands” Cynthia tried to poision Caroline’s Mind. She wanted to destroy her friendsh!p.
de-ep down in Cynthia’s mind she was jealous of Angella.

She wished that she was living Angella’s life. And jealousy had ti-pped her off the edge when Angella snapped at her. And she didn’t like the
idea of Caroline acting like a Slave girl. Visiting her cousin for the first time in 7 Years. She had expected Caroline to be the Boss lady in her school just like she was ruling in Linda Girls College.

“Omo! You fall my hand Caroline”
“You are not a student of EHS. Angella Benson is the Queen” Caro said
Cynthia laughed

“You don’t know a Queen can serve her Maids” Cynthia Said
“That’s impossible” Caro said with a frown

“Anything is possible Cousin! If I can get rid of the students in my school in a twi-nkle of an eye..So what’s impossible for me?” Cynthia said with a shrug
“Are you God?” Caro said with raised eyebrow
Cynthia hissed

“St©p acting like a dummy! did I say anything like me being a God?”
“But you said nothing is impossible for you”

“Yes.. I mean things like dealing and getting rid of people. Try to un-derstand. Ah! No wonder Angella is treating you like her dog”
“I’m not Angella’s dog!” Caroline countered
Cynthia shook her head

“That’s how she sees you”

“I know throwing us out in the night is bad but..”

“No but! What is bad is bad! There’s no other name for bad” Cynthia interrupted

“I can never kick my friends out of my home. They are my friends! So I should treat them like my sisters!” She said
Caroline thought de-eply
She didn’t like the way Angella had kicked them out in the pres£nce of her cousin. She had portrayed Angella as the nicest girl in the world but she ended up showing her true color.

“Talking of being Rich, Angella’s riches can’t stand near Katherine Adebowale’s Wealth. All round Money” Cynthia said
Caroline stunned out of thought
“Did you just say Katherine Adebowale?” She asked
“Yes, Katherine Adebowale, her father is a multi billionaire businessman. Her mom is rich and her brother are super wealthy too! They are not in Nigeria. So tell me what is Bens Oil beside Adebowale’s Wealth” she said furiously

“Katherine? Adebowale? How do you know her?” Caroline asked

“She was a Student of Linda Girls College before I s£nt her packing so I could have a breathing space”
“What do you mean?” Caro asked

“Actually i wanted the post of Headgirl but I didn’t see myself getting it because of Katherine. She was the best student in our cl@ss. A genius.. So I did one funny thing on her and she left our school and I bec@m£ the head girl of Great Linda Girls College” Cynthia said within herself
Caroline waited for a response

“Never mind..” She shrugged
Caroline recalled that Katherine told Mr Danny that her previous school was Linda Girls College.

She wondered if Katherine was the same girl.
“Wait..Cynthia describe Katherine to me” Caro demanded
“Why?”
“It seems I know the Katherine you are saying..”

Cynthia took out her cellphone

“She’s the one!” Caroline g@sped in shock after viewing Kate’s picture on Cynthia’s phone.
“Do you know her?” Caroline asked

“Yes! She’s my cl@ssmate!”
“Are you kidding?” Cynthia asked in a surprised tone
“I’m serious! she’s attending EHS. Kate is every boy’s crush. As in they are dying for her big time.

Even Angella’s b©yfri£ndwho is the most popular boy in school..”
“Seriously? Ehn! Am surprised o. Jesus! Everyb©dy must hear this latest gist on the school page!”

Cynthia started to type on her phone.
“What are you doing?” Caroline asked
“Informing my godmother that I have found our old prey. Cousin gist me about kate”

“Actually you were right about her. Her dad is super rich!”
“How do you know?” Cynthia said without look at her
‘I’ve found Katherine Adebowale! It turned out to be that, she’s my cousin’s cl@ssmate’

Cynthia typed on her phone and s£nt it to Tola on Whatsapp.
“Angella couldn’t stand her so we did a check on her” Caro explained
“I’m sure there will be a big problem. Angella won’t let Kate take her shine like that..” Cynthia laughed

“You’re right..”
“Gist me”

Then Caroline told her everything that has been going on at EHS.
“Angella is determined to treat her fv¢k up like she did to Adesewa” Caro said
“So what’s her plan?”

“I don’t know what she’s planning but I’m sure she has something in mind” Caro said
“Its easy to make those boys hate Katherine”
Cynthia said

“How?”

“I’m not going to tell you because Angella is involved. I hate her now for kicking us out of her house ” Cynthia Said
Caroline thought for a second
Cynthia knows a way to getting rid of Katherine. A way that will help Angella win Joseph again and also favour her too.. In a big way. Maybe she would finally get what she de-sired.

She used to like Katherine but she started to hate her when Emeka bec@m£ close to Katherine.

And she knew Emeka also liked Kate. Caroline had been nuts about Emeka since Junior school but he didn’t like her and he alre-ady made it clear that she wasn’t his type the day she wrote him
a love note online in SS1.

“You have to help me” Caro Said with a serious look on her face
“You?” She said raising up her brows
“Yes..Oh well how do I explain this to you..?” Caro sighed

“.. Just say it” Cynthia encouraged
“A guy I love is in love with Katherine” she st©pped
Cynthia listened and arched her brows again
“He doesn’t even care about me again ever since Kate joined EHS” Caro lied

“Who is this guy?”she asked
“He is a guy in my cl@ss” Caro replied
“Oh! The one on your screensaver?!” Cynthia said with a wi-de eye
“Yee..ss” Caro muttered
Cynthia laughed
“You love him?”

“de-eply but I can’t be with him because of Kate” she explained soberly
“If you tell me what to do to make boys hate Kate then I’ll be grateful to you..For life” She said

“Actually, everyone will hate Kate once they find out who she really is..” Cynthia said with a wicked smile
“Will..Will you help me?”
She asked
Cynthia nodded

“#15,000 and I’ll transfer some files to you” She said

“What?! 15k? Where do I get such money?!” Caro said

“You can use your allowance” Cynthia answered

“I don’t have money Cynthia -” she said shaking her head

“Okay..I’ll keep my plan to myself. So my cousin, just sit back and watch Katherine Adebowale take the love of your life away” She said in anger before throwing the be-dcover over her b©dy in an attempt to sleep.

Caroline grumbled for seconds before re-leasing a loud sigh.

“#2000” she offered

“Make it 7k cousin” Cynthia said

“#3000 and I’ll give you that heels you like..” Caroline bargained
Cynthia flared up immediately with a hvge smile on herl-ips. She had loved the crimson stiletto heels on Caroline’s shoe rack. She had asked Caroline to sell it to her but she declined. But now she was offering it to her for free in exchange of files to ruin Katherine.

“Are you sure?” Cynthia asked
Caroline nodded

Cynthia picked a notepad and pencil from the drawer and she gave it to Caroline.

“Sign on it” she instructed
Caroline rolled her eyes
“I’m serious” she said

“Sign plea-se..”
“Okay..what should I write?” Caro asked

“#3000 and stiletto heels” Cynthia said
And she wrote down on the pad and then signed on it.

“Good girl go and bring the money..” Cynthia snapped it on her phone.
Caroline went to her wardrobe and gave her the money
“Deal?” She asked

“Deal!” Caroline replied

“Switch on your Xender, lemme transfer it to you” Caroline did as Cynthia instructed.

She transferred some pictures to her.

“Done” she said
Caroline scrolled to her gallery and her jaw dropped wi-dely on seeing the first image.

“Unbelievable!” She g@sped
“It was a little dark in there but am sure you can do picture re-ading. Telling the scene by the picture..” She said

“Are.. Are..You sure -” Caro paused

“Are you blind? Or am I the one in the picture?” Cynthia questioned with a frown

“No” she said

“So use the pictures wisely to get what you want” Cynthia said
Caroline answered with a nod
“Oh girl its nice doing business with you. Call me anytime you need my help” Caroline said falling back on the be-d

“Good..Night” she yawned loudly. Caroline was stunned. She wondered if it was truly Katherine Adebowale in those pictures. Minutes cli-cked by, and she thought if it was really s-en-sible to show the pictures to everyone at school.

It struck her seconds later, that she needed to get Emeka for herself and this would also make Angella forgive her for the bad words Cynthia said to her. She was 100% sure that Angella would be interested In these pictures.
