The purplish red haired man spoke while swinging the baseball bat fiercely at Liliana.

Liliana dodged

She also picked up a stick on the way when she escaped. She smashed it at the man while dodging his attack.

Then, Liliana hit two more men.

Finally, they came out of the encirclement.

Liliana threw the stick in her hand! She grabbed Josephine’s hand and continued to run away!

When they finally broke free from the men, only then did Liliana notice Josephine was limping. She thought, “She might have been beaten or sprained when we escaped just now.”

Liliana apologized. “Josephine, I’m sorry.”

Josephine looked at her and said, “If you have to apologize, shouldn’t I be apologizing to you? After all, it’s because of me that you offended Valeria.”
