Old Madam Mu was shocked.

She said angrily with a frown on her face, “I think you’re bewitched by Mu Siyin’s words, Tongzhi. Cut the cr*p at once!”

Mu Siyin was shocked as shivers went down her spine. She could not help but move closer to Old Madam. Looking at the dim, empty bedroom, her voice began to tremble. “Is Mu Siyun really back, grandma?”

“Shut up!” Madam Mu turned her head around and yelled angrily, “There’s no such thing as ghosts! Mu Siyin must be mystifying your mother!”

Upon hearing that, Mu Xingyu kept quiet, but she was still scared to death.

At that moment, the siren of an ambulance wailed outside the window.

Mu Xingyu’s heart skipped a beat before she looked at Old Madam Mu. “The ambulance is here, grandma. Hurry up and take my mother to the hospital.”

Old Madam Mu regarded Mu Xingyu with a deep knot between her brows as her voice echoed. “Go downstairs and tell them that your mother was just traumatized by what happened earlier. She’s fine now.”

Mu Xingyu was stunned when she heard that. “Why? My mom is delirious. Shouldn’t we send her to the hospital for a sedative and find out what happened?”

Madam Mu was determined. “Do as I say! Your mother is fine!”

“Grandma…”

“Xingyu, listen to grandma. Your mother is out of her head and won’t stop talking nonsense. It would only cause us trouble if someone heard her.”

Mu Xingyu froze and was hesitant as she slowly looked at Li Tongzhi grabbing onto Old Madam Mu.

“Hurry up before they come up anytime soon.” Madam Mu added.

Mu Xingyu clenched her fists tightly and bit her lips. She had no choice but to turn around and head downstairs.

Meanwhile, Li Tongzhi was still grabbing onto Madam Mu as she murmured in fear, “I didn’t kill her. Let me go. Let me go, please.”

Old Madam Mu knitted her brows tightly and scanned the bedroom. As her cold, snake-like eyes finally landed on the photo frame that was faced down on the table, she slowly clenched her skinny hands into fists.

Then, she looked down at Li Tongzhi who was grabbing onto her, and asked softly, “Tongzhi, have you seen Shiyun?”

Li Tongzhi’s emotions flooded as soon as she heard Mu Siyun’s name. Her body trembled as she screamed with her arms around Old Madam Mu. “She’s back, she’s really back. The blood-red hair of hers brushed over my face. I’m scared, I’m really scared…”

When Old Madam Mu heard that, her cold eyes grew darker and deeper.

“What else did she say?”

Just as she asked, Li Tongzhi instantly let go of her and clutched her head as she cried bitterly. “I don’t know. I’m scared.”

Li Tongzhi clutched her head like a lunatic and pulled her hair frantically as she continued murmuring nonsense.

Soon after, Mu Xingyu ran upstairs.

Seeing that Li Tongzhi was still out of her head, she shouted furiously, “It’s Mu Siyin’s fault! She must’ve done this to my mother! My mother has to go to a doctor, grandma.”

Old Madam Mu said in a deep voice, “Try to calm her down first, I’ll call your father and ask him to come back this instance.”

Shi Beiyu and Master Hu were frantic to look for Mu Siyin and soon found her at the Mu cemetery.

The cemetery was pitch-dark as they heard a faint sound of a woman whimpering. The sound got Shi Ran’s hair standing at all ends.

He would never have believed that it was all real if he had not experienced it personally.
