DANGEROUS ROMANCE - EPISODE 26

Anastasia used her fingers to wipe off the sweats that is begining to form on her forehead, like what the hell!, If she had known she could have disguised herself as someone else but….

The only thing she could think of was a guard.

All the guards stood under the sun, those who were a little new to this was sweating while those who had gotten used to it only had few droplets of sweats on their face.

Anastasia who just trained with a huge guy was breathing hard, thankfully, when the guy beat her up and also hit her chest, the magic made the guy not to feel anything soft at all.

“Are you okay?”Nathan asked after training, he was amazing and only fell once but at the end he won unlike some looser.

Infact, Anastasia’s body was aching as hell.

“Yea”Anastasia smiled, her face wasn’t injured except from a small cut next to her ears.

“Here, use this , it can help relieve the pain”Nathan smiled and gave it to her.

“Thanks”Anastasia smiled.

Then the whistle was blown making Anastasia to curse, curse the trainer, curse that huge guy who beat her to a pup, curse everything….the fact that she didn’t rest nor eat or drink water.

And now they are calling them for another section of training, this time Anastasia knew that she couldn’t handle it and might end up fainting or worse dying.

“Do some pressup”The trainer said and Anastasia found out that his name was Mr Jude.

“What??”Anastasia gasped, her mouth wide open in shock, Nathan who was next to her placed his hand under her chin and raised it up, shutting her once opened her mouth.

“I can’t do that, am hungry and tasty, I might pass out of I continue”Anastasia said, what she said was true but she knew that even though, she ate right now, she wouldn’t be able to carry it.

Because she is a fragile little girl and not a strong muscular guy like Lord zakai.
And wait, why is she even remembering lord zakai right now.

Anastasia was still in deep thoughts that she didn’t even know that a lot of people have done theirs until it reached her turn.

Lord zakai wasn’t there anymore because they were in a meeting and she can’t do it without him so having no other option, she faked a faint.

“Huh?, What happened to him?”*

“Why did he suddenly pass out?”*

“He passed out in the middle of training because he doesn’t want to train but lazy about”*

Mumurs flew around the large field.
“Silence!”Mr Jude yelled and there was silence.

“Mr Jude, he is my friend and he hasn’t eaten anything since his arrival yesterday, he must be tired after being beaten badly…look at his cuts and injuries, he hasn’t even taken water”Nathan muttered and Anastasia opened one of her eyes immediately she heard what Nathan said before closing it back.

But none of them knew what she did because they were too busy thinking of the situation.

“Fine, let him have some food and come back tomorrow but his training will be doubled tomorrow because of his absence today, tell him to eat and drink as much as he can but he can’t escape tomorrow’s training”Mr Jude said sternly before turning to the other guard and giving them a sign to continue.

“That cunning and stupid b*stard”Anastasia cursed inwardly

Fred flipped Anastasia on his shoulders before walking away toward her room.

“Hey, we are out of there, put me down!!”Anastasia yelled hitting him on his back with her fists making him to drop her down.

“That Mr Jude, he wants my training to be doubled tomorrow, is he normally wicked or to just me”Anastasia clenched and unclenched her fist.

“Am going to my room, go to the training ground or your training will be doubled tomorrow”Anastasia muttered but he was still following her ,completely ignoring her words.

“Then let it be, who said I can’t handle training when is doubled”Nathan muttered making Anastasia to frown.

“Don’t tell me your following me to your room”Anastasia stopped and glared at him with her hands crossed.

“Am not, I want to get food for you from the kitchen and…..”Nathan paused looking for another excuse but when he got nothing, he walked passed her towards the direction of the kitchen.

“Your acting like a caring hubby..awnnn”Anastasia said, though she said an *awwwnn* but her face was still as straight as steel and as cold as Ice.

“Thank you”Nathan said and they entered the kitchen.

AT THE SHADOWS EMPIRE

A man who looked the same age as Lord zakai sat on a silver king’s chair, on his laps was a female black kitten (cat), he stroked the kitten’s back continuously making the kitten to purr in his hands.

“What good news did you bring for me Monica!!?”He asked as a smirk formed on his face immediately he saw Monica walk into the room.

“A very good news”Monica smiled as she sat on a couch.
“Miss Alexa is with lord zakai at that empire, can’t remember the name,”Monica said.

“You said you want to be with lord zakai”He asked and she nodded.
“Then get rid of her, if she is long gone and forgotten, you will get a chance with Lord zakai for sure”He smirked and she nodded.

“Ofcourse I will get rid of her, the b**ch is of no match to me”Monica said and he smiled.

“Today”Monica smiled and walked away and immediately she did, the unknown guy burst into a loud evil laughter.

“Oh Monica?, If only you know what am planning, I will let you get rid of Anastasia and when Lord zakai find out is you, he kills you and then kill himself out of grief for his beloved mate then I sit on the throne of the qin empire”He thought inwardly and the evil laugh followed.

Anastasia helped Nathan in preparing bread and egg sauce with a cup of coffee, Anastasia ate it as fast as she could, like she hasn’t eaten for 1 week.

When she was done, she drank water and belch loudly while tapping her little bump.

“So, your filled now”Nathan smiled making Anastasia to give him a thumbs up.

She actually ate in the kitchen so they stood up to walk back to their room.

“Am still thinking about the press up section tomorrow, what if I die from exhaustion”Anastasia laughed and Nathan smiled.

“You won’t , your strong, you will not die anytime soon….not anytime, yes,not anytime”Nathan continued to repeat *You would not die anytime soon* while looking at a far end making Anastasia to frown.

Has he lost it?
Is he okay or has he suddenly gone mad?.

Before Anastasia could talk, an arrow was sent flying towards her direction and before it could reach her, Nathan ran to her front blocking her and the arrow pierced deep into his chest.

“Nathan!!!!!!”Anastasia yelled as he fell down then some guards ran in making the person who fired the arrow to run away, the unknown person was wearing a black outfit and black mask making it impossible to know who did it.

“Help him up please…Nathan, am sorry”Anastasia sobbed as they dragged him out of there.

“The arrow is poisonous, we need to move on time”One of them muttered as they carried Alex out .

Anastasia followed them, she was sobbing uncontrollably, why was she so weak that people will always protect her, that she can’t protect herself.
That people will always die or enter trouble just to help her….why?.

“Anastasia”
Anastasia turned and hugged Lord zakai tightly while crying.

“Am sorry I came late”Lord zakai muttered wiping her tears.
“Tell me why am I always Weak, I can’t even protect my self, I don’t have powers…nothing,am just useless!!!”Anastasia yelled at the rate of going crazy.

“No, humans do practice magic too, I can teach you, if you continue crying, I wouldn’t teach you, your friend will be alright”Lord zakai muttered and Anastasia wiped her tears.

“You will teach me?”Anastasia asked in disbelief and he nodded.
ANASTASIA smiled and wrapped her arms around his waist, hugging him tightly.
