They were in the ship for full 14 hours and finally they reached their destination which was a kinda abandoned empire but it wasn’t that abandoned though.

Because the king of this particular empire were killed and it was rumoured to be the second most powerful empire in the continent after the qin empire.

Anastasia sighed with an annoyed and bored expression on her face as she helped the other guards to pack or carry lord zakai and the empire masters stuff.

Immediately they entered the empire, everywhere was so damn quiet that anyone could think that no one lived there.

They walked inside the empire, it looked like a huge war was fought inside this empire.

Anastasia who was looking around in horror stopped immediately the other guards stopped too….it turned out that the empire masters wanted to have a private discussion with the queen.

So, all the guards divided into groups, searching for any clue or any other survival.

Anastasia followed nathan, the guy who asked whether she could be her friend but lord zakai didn’t want that.

“Is you again,fred right?”Nathan asked and anastasia smiled before nodding her head forcefully.

“Yea, uhmmm…what’s that your name again?”Anastasia asked and he frowned, clearly displeased.

“I remember yours and you forgot mine huh?”Nathan said.

“Am sorry, sometimes i do have short term memory loss”Anastasia lied smoothly and that really shocked her, when did she learn how to lie so smoothly.

“Oh, sorry about that”Nathan said.
“Is nathan”He added and anastasia raised an eyebrow before nodding her head.

“Great”Anastasia smiled before walking passed him but he caught up with her very fast.

“Nice to meet you”Nathan smiled and anastasia nodded.
“Dude, can’t you see that am not in the mood to chat”Anastasia thought inwardly.

But thankfully, after that, he stopped talking seeing the look on her face.

“Not everyone died in the war though, a lot of people are still alive but injured”Anastasia muttered.

Suddenly, nathan stopped making anastasia to stop too, she was clearly confused, why did he stop and not only that he looked shocked too.

Anastasia turned towards the direction where nathan was looking at, her state was even worst than nathan’s.

The duo stared at the scenery in shock, there was lord axel alone, his hands were wrapped tightly around a guy’s waist as he tried to force a kiss on him.

Anastasia and nathan’s eyes were already bulging in shock, their brain still tried to process what they saw and their legs were damn heavy that it didn’t click on them to save the guy of about 19 from lord axel.

Is lord axel gay?

Anastasia didn’t know when her feet dragged her to that place, immediately she was close enough, she pulled the guy away from lord axel’s arms.

“Lord axel, please excercise some self control”Anastasia said coldly as she glared hard at lord axel.

Lord axel frowned but his his frown quickly graduated into a sly smirk.

“Oh?,really?,i should excercise some self control huh?”Lord axel’s smirk widened.

“Your really a handsome interesting little guy, but don’t worry you have finally caught my interest”Lord axel said walking towards anastasia who moved back in fear.

She continued to move back until her back touched the wall, she felt herself get frozen in that place.

Lord axel’s thumb carassed her cheeks, damn…his hands was damn cold and that made anastasia shiver…not in pleasure but in fear, great fear.

“See you later, but the next time i might not be able to leave you just like this time”Lord axel said and moved back making anastasia to finally breathe again.

“Bye bye little guy”Lord axel walked away while anastasia still stood there rooted in that spot with her eyes wide open.

When she snapped out of her trance, she clenched her fist in anger.
“That punk….i saved him and all he did was to run away”

Anastasia felt annoyed, this is the first and the last time she would ever help someone again in her life.

She took a breathe in trying to calm her racing heart before nathan walked towards her.

“Am so sorry for…..

“You don’t need to apologize, am not angry”Anastasia said, despite the fact that she said that, her expression gave her out…..she looked not just angry, she look mad and in rage.

“But you look …..”Nathan trailed off when a hard punch landed on his face.

“Your calling this quite angry huh?,am damn damn damn angry!!”Anastasia yelled before stepping on his foot making him yelp in pain before turning and walking away in anger.

Nathan sighed feeling a pang of sadness and guilt which was burning inside his chest.

It was finally night and each guards were given room to stay with some sharing rooms, but thankfully, she wasn’t told to share a room with anyone.

She sighed as she removed her shirt after making sure that the door was locked properly.
She untied the material and finally, she could breathe.

She entered the bathtub and grabbed her sponge before scrubbing her cheek and hands hard, trying to wash away his irritating and disgusting touch.

For some minutes, she continued to scrub her skin and it even reached a point that it turned pale red because of her abuse.

When she was done, she wrapped the material around her chest again before putting on a new shirt and trouser.

She laid on the bed and took a breathe in then she remembered Lord Axel’s word and that scared her.
