She clenched down on the claw beam she was holding off.

The claw beams around her burst under his sheer strength.

She extinguished the beams and dispersed them in bits of dark light.

Aside from her slightly disheveled robe, she came out without a scratch.

“I hope you’re ready to get whooped…”

Klaus watched as his proud attacks failed to do anything. His opponent thwarted him easily. He was at a complete loss.

“Yo-you’ve got to be kidding me, that was my full-power attack.”

“S-strong..”

Elliot clenched his fists tighter.

“Is this her current power?”

The other origin masters around him dared to say nothing.

They exchanged a look with each other and they looked down with bitter smiles. They knew they could defend against Klaus’s all-out attack, however, they were also humble enough to know they wouldn’t have been able to come out on top looking so suave even if they worked together.

The eight origin masters shook their heads with even bitter smiles. The youngest among them is 40 years old.

Meanwhile, that guy looked like she was still in her 20s.

She is so young, yet, she’s this strong?

Could it be? Is Nemesis a level 4 origin master?

Klaus’s bloody throat felt dry as he voiced that out in a hoarse tone.

His ugly face couldn’t hide his disbelief. Nemesis just shrugged.

“That’s why, who gave you the confidence in the first place?” She asked as if to mock him.

Klaus roared angrily.

“I am an apex level 5 origin master! You shouldn’t have been able to hold a candle against me!”

“Apex level 4?”

Nemesis couldn’t help but laugh out loud. She walked towards Klaus slowly.

“I say, you must be under some kind of misunderstanding, boy!”

While she sauntered towards Klaus, Nemesis chuckled like she was talking to a kid.

“Don’t you know?”

“That man whatever his name from the Ladin Family, he’s also peak level 5, I killed him nonetheless!”

“Oh, by the way, your uncle who turned himself into a cosmetic nightmare to pursue level 4 power? I also killed him.”

“Compared to them, your unrefined and untrained level 5 power? You might as well call the trash monster.”

She stopped and she slowly spelled out her next sentence.

“You are trash.”

Nemesis’s words pierced Klaus’s heart like long spears. The monster’s happiness from gaining a power-up fell apart like scattered clouds. His body trembled.

He started inching backward. He could still feel his amplified power, the power that surpassed his past self hundreds of times over. However, he was not proud, not anymore.

“N…no…”

Klaus’s sanity started unraveling.

“That can’t be! This power is mine! It’s all mine! I am the strongest there is! I am stronger than you! Yeah! Stronger than youuuu!!!”

“You! You!!! Nemesis!”

His dark origin swirled violently as he lashed out at his surroundings. Soon, he was covered in his dark origin.

“You’re jealous of me! You must have done something underhanded, didn’t you?! Didn’t you?!!!”

Klaus deluded himself and he laughed in a hoarse voice.

“Yeah! That has to be it! You’re not stronger than me! You’re weaker than me!”

Elliot and his guards couldn’t bear to look at his pathetic display.

They also didn’t want to admit Nemesis’s superiority. She was younger than them judged by her appearance, she was still a youngster in her 20s. If only they knew.

The experts near Elliot heard him and they looked at Klaus with sad gazes. Meanwhile, Nemesis looked at Klaus like he was a pathetic excuse for his existence.

“Because you couldn’t deal with reality, you chose to delude yourself in your world?”

She sighed.

“I guess that’s why you had to borrow external power. Without it, you can never advance or reach your current powers!”

“You shut your mouth!”

Klaus bellowed as he channeled dark origin into his body.

With a mighty stomp, the ground crumbled.

He shot forward like a cannonball with his claws aimed at Nemesis’s chest.

“I will kill you!!!”

With kmaos6 charging at her while emitting fumes of dark origin, Elliot & co saw Nemesis’s nonchalant look and they knew.

This fight was already over.

Nemesis watched as Klaus rushed towards her with dark origin swirling around him and a menacing look. Her heart was as cool as the surface of a lake.

Magic power flowed around his body, origin concentrated around her mouth along with magic-infused blood.

She inhaled deeply and she roared.

“Stop!”
