BURNING AFFECTION - EPISODE 62 AND 63

“Cal!!!” Rachel screamed as more tears rolled down his cheeks, blood gushed out of his mouth and he held the sword in his stomach

“Your highness!” Darrin screamed out, catching him before he’ll fall, Darrin fell on the ground and placed his head on his laps

Rachel bent beside them, shedding tears too

“No Callum, you can’t do this you know…. You’ll be fine ok?, You’ll be ok” she said tearfully, holding his face

” You led me wrongly since I was a kid, you made me end up the way I ended today….. I hope you die miserably, and if you’ll live Rachel, I hope you live the rest of your life in misery, I regret having you as my mother, I regret not being like Royalty, I hate you…. A lot” he gasped and poured out more blood from his mouth

He looked at Darrin and smiled sadly before giving up right there

“No…. Cal … Cal are you joking?” Rachel said, placing her ear on his chest but he’s not breathing anymore

Rachel spranged up and faced Lioness who’s smiling satisfactorily

“You killed my two children, what have I ever done to you!, Why are you so cruel!” She screamed and Lioness laughed loudly, it’s derisive and full of scorn

“I told you you’ll cry a lot right?, Since the day you defied me, you’ve already planned to cry, and I just helped you, you’ve always been ungrateful” Lioness replied, moving closer to Rachel who’s still crying

“You still have a lot to take care of and I just stopped him from killing you, I’m summoning a demon from the underworld five days to come, I’ll have him posses me, with that, I can take care of Kimora and Petal, if those two are gone, war will be a piece of cake” Lioness smiled

” So?” Rachel said

” Five days to come, think of a way to bring Kimora here” Lioness replied

The maids drooled on Minho as he came down from his horse after entering the palace with it

The palace guards took the horse to the stable at Jimin’s orders

“Welcome to Miryang” Jimin said, hugging him immediately he got to him

“You got taller, it had only been a week and some days since you left Goryeo” Minho said

” Stop the joke, the palace is heated right now” Jimin said

“I heard about everything” Minho replied

” And you decided to visit at the heated moment, how many years are you spending?” Jimin said and Minho laughed

” Let’s go in” Jimin said and led the way into the palace

“I can’t share a room with a prince” Minho said when they got to the front of his room

” Stop joking and come in already” Jimin said, pulling him in

“Always Clean, where’s the wife” Minho said

“I have no idea and I don’t care,but if you ask about Kimora, I’d say she’s perfectly fine with my baby in her belly” Jimin replied

” Really?, How did it happen” Minho said and Jimin rolled eyes at him

” Did you seriously just ask that?, How dumb” he said

“Was just trying to make a joke, you should at least laugh” Minho replied

” Just be careful around, queen Rachel has still not been found and because of that, Morris execution has been held cos they must be executed together” Jimin said

” I’m not a weakling, you’re aware” Minho said and Jimin laughed

” Of course….are you ready to tour round the palace?” Jimin said

*I guess so” Minho replied as they both stepped out of the room

“Miryang palace is one of the best palace I’ve ever seen, it’s bigger and beautiful than Goryeo’s” Minho said

” That’s Cal’s chamber, Suzy’s chamber, king’s chamber and the Queen’s…the kitchen is over here and the guards chamber there, my flower garden is at the back, then the maids chamber” Jimin said as he took him around

” Want to branch?” Minho asked

“Of course, she has been drawing since daybreak” Jimin replied and without caring if anyone is watching or not, he entered the place and went straight to kimora’s room

He peeped in and saw her sitting in front of her drawing table, drawing with Tania beside her

“Kitten” he said and she looked up, smiles covered her face when she saw him

“Min-Min, what are you doing here”

“Obviously to see your face” he replied and came in fully, Minho came in after

“Minho!” She exclaimed, standing up

“Maiden Kimora” he smiled

” You came to visit?, It’s so pleasant to have you here, don’t worry, I’m done with the painting, I’ll make you something delicious” she said

” Can’t wait” Minho smiled

” Meet my friend, Tania” she introduced

“Annyeong” Tania smiled

” Are you still on it?” Jimin asked.

“No, you guys came in immediately I finished up, I painted fifty copies” she replied and Jimin hugged her

” I’ll massage your fingers for you tonight” he said

” I can’t wait” she replied

” Lady Kimora!, His majesty calls for you in his chamber !’ a servant said by the door

“Let’s go together” Jimin said, leaving the room with her while Minho followed

Tania came out and yawned, she swiftly saw Cory behind her but she pretended like she didn’t

He kept tiptoeing and just when he thought he’s about to get her, she looked back

“Heck!, You scared me!” He said, holding his chest

“I’m glad I did” she replied and Cory’s eyes turned wistful, he stepped closer and touched her face

“Hey I never said you could do that” she said

He stepped more closer and hugged her

“Hey .. I’ll pinch you” she said, slightly hitting his back

” Your dreams came to pass, prince Cal was found dead in the woods some minutes ago, he died by his own sword” Cory said

King’s chamber**

Jimin held kimora’s hand and bravely stepped in with her though she wanted to take her hand from him but he’s not giving her the chance, they entered that way and met Jung Mal on his throne, looking at their hands as they entered

“Your majesty” Jimin said, bowing with Kimora

“Forgive your father” Jung Mal said and he quickly looked up

” No father, it’s not right to ask for…

” For forgiveness from you?, That principle is out of it Jimin, I should have asked for your opinion before going on to ask for Riya’s hand in marriage, I was still thinking of you as young which was my mistake” he said

” Father” Jimin said unbelievably

“I noticed your sadness and that’s why I didn’t order the use of rings in the wedding, no everlasting commitment so you can end it anytime you want” he said and Jimin felt a big smile escape his lips

“Really?”

“She’s back home, her parents sent me a letter this morning, telling me she’s not coming back, she said it herself that she’s never coming back though her reasons were not stated” he said

” I’m so glad” Jimin breathed, holding Kimora more tightly

“I know of your relationship, Cory told me everything…. I’ll change the rules because of you both, get married if that’ll make you happy” Mal said

” Father really?” He said, too happy

Kimora couldn’t believe her ears either, like it’s a dream

“War is coming from Myung Woo in Gongwon, Rachel will still be communicating with him in her hiding place, so be prepared, direct general Wang on what to do…. he’ll start repositioning the armies as from tonight, I’m counting on you” Jung Mal said and Jimin climbed up to him, he hugged him tightly

” Father I love you” he said and Mal laughed

“More like you when you were a kid” he said, patting his back and looking up at Kimora who bowed

Jimin broke the hug and came back to Kimora, he hugged her too

“Cal…was found dead by his own sword some minutes ago” Mal said

*What!” Jimin said shockingly

“Dead?” Kimora said in shock too

Mal sighed and Gaeul entered the chamber

” Gaeul….you’re awake” Mal said

“Thanks to the mythical being in here” she smiled

” The demon?” King Jung said

” The demon who killed the guards is different from the being who killed the assassins…. though the demon is a father to the non-human” she replied

” Do you know the mythical being?” Mal asked

“Right in front of you, Kimora” Gaeul replied

” What! ” Mal said..

Five days later**

Ginelle came out of her house for the first time in a lot of days

She looked malnourished and skinny, she lost a lot of weight too and her legs feels light on the ground as she walked

She held the wall for support as she walked

“Bray … Den” she stuttered and can feel hot tears rushing down her eyes

She has been terribly sick and it has been painful, so painful that she once wished for death, thinking about how high Brayden’s hatred for her will be right now

She looked up at the sky but quickly looked down, the lights hurts her eyes,

Suddenly, something hit the back of her neck and she passed out.

Darrin carried her on his shoulder and rushed off

“Where’s he taking her to…..wait!’ a man whose house is beside hers said, suddenly coming out of his house

He saw the person swiftly

Brayden appeared immediately and the man rushed to him

“He took her away, that way” he said, pointing at the way

“Took who away?” He asked

“Ginelle, someone bundled her away just now” the man said and Brayden quickly took that path,…

He just missed her a lot, that’s why he came maybe he’d be lucky enough to catch a glimpse but now someone took her away?

“No …. I must save her” he thought as he ran on the path

Palace, Jimin’s room**

“So….. today is the fifteenth day, five days left, in just so eager” Jimin said with Kimora on top of him, she’s sleeping on him on his bed

“Me too, I really want to feel what motherhood feels like” she replied and Jimin kissed her forehead

” Why do you think father approved our relationship even after knowing that you’re not a normal human?” He asked

” Maybe….my sweet aura” she replied

” Sweet aura… Ok” Jimin laughed

” You can’t deny it yourself” she replied and he laughed again

” War…why do I feel scared at the mention of that since your mother mentioned it” he said

” Don’t worry, I’ll protect you, end all your enemies and give you a pretty baby” she said and he smiled

He held her face and made to kiss her but a knock on the door stopped him

“It’s Tania!, Kimora you have a letter!” She said loudly and Kimora quickly climbed down to meet her outside

She took the letter from her and read

If she’s not wrong, it’s definitely Ginelle’s handwriting and the aura surrounding the letter is dark, she can just smell it

“Lioness” she said and dashed out of the place

” Where’s Kimora?” Jimin asked, just coming out

“She got this letter and left” she replied,,

He took the letter from her and read it

” A trap?, Which direction did she go?” He asked

“There” Tania pointed and he head out fast

Petal suddenly appeared in kimora’s way, preventing her from going forward

“You can’t” she said

“Why?, Ginelle is with them” she replied

“I know, but you still can’t go, this is the beginning of the war I was talking about” Petal replied

” The war is because of me right?, Then let me go mother” she replied and made to go again but Petal blocked her again

“We both can’t coexist in the human world for long!, Especially now that we’re three plus your baby… one has to die, and I don’t want that to be you, let me go instead” she said

” No mother, I’ll be the one to go, nothing will happen to me don’t you trust me?” She replied

” This is not about trust Kimora, the underworld demon has been summoned, it’ll be dangerous, let me go instead” Petal said

” No mother, I’ll be the one to go…. Jimin’s curse can only be lifted if Lioness dies right?, I’ll be the one to do that, you called me his protector right?, Then this is for me mother” she replied

” Kimora…

“Let me go…I’m losing time” she replied

” Kimora it’s dangerous…

“I know, I’ll be fine, and you must never intervene, you can never meddle” Kimora said and left

Petal let out tears from her eyes for the first time in many years.

Lioness chamber**

“She’ll be here soon, she’s stubborn so it’s the truth” Lioness said, rolling her red eyes

The demon is inside her already, she got possessed last night and since then, she has been having the urge to just kill and destroy

“Kill her, that’s all I want” Rachel said, looking at Ginelle who was made to sit on the ground, she wasn’t tied though since she has no strength to even walk, she was forced to write the letter earlier

She just sat there, breathing slowly

“Ginelle!” Rachel heard a voice calling outside

Lioness used her magic to make the house invincible to the eyes of humans so whoever the caller is is not seeing it right now

“The lover” Darrin said, peeping out

Lioness made it visible and Brayden rushed in

“Ginelle!” He said, rushing to her but Darrin blocked her way

“Brayden!, Please leave!” Ginelle shouted

“And who are you to barge in here” Rachel said

“our Rachel?, Your evil shouldn’t get to the innocent too, let her go!, She did nothing wrong” Brayden said and Lioness laughed

” You don’t need to do anything wrong before getting on my bad side, and too bad you got on the bad side already” Lioness said

” I don’t know who you are and I really don’t care to know….so I’ll just go for what I came for” he replied and started walking towards Ginelle but Lioness summoned her arrow

She touched the tip of the blade with her tongue, adding poison in the process before setting it in the bow

Ginelle saw the move and found the strength to stand up, she took just a step to Brayden, hugging him and letting the arrow penetrate into her back

She gasped in agony and black blood rushed down her lips.

Her blood stained Brayden’s hands as he held her

“Gin…. Ginelle!!!!” He screamed in tears

“Death is the prize you get for messing with the ones I love” Kimora said from the door

No one even knew when she got there

She has tears in her pink eyes as she rushed to Lioness who gripped her by the neck, she’s so strong!

Lioness threw her away and she crashed on the wall, getting wounded

She spranged up and came to her but Lioness tore her with her nails on the arm, she fell again and stood

She rolled and leapt up before landing on Lioness, matching her head

Lioness went down but stood immediately, she sent nails and Kimora stopped them midair, they fell and she sent them back

Lioness swallowed it all and smirked before grabbing her again, she made to shove her nails into kimora’s belly but Kimora held her hand tightly

The dark energy of the demon is so strong, trying to drown her but she closed her eyes

Lioness threw her again and she fell on the ground, bleeding from the mouth with several wounds on her body, her white robe is badly stained with blood and she’s weak

Lioness super sped to her and dived her nails into kimora’s chest, trying to gouge out her heart

Kimora can feel her nails penetrating into her heart already and worse, she’s so weak, the fact that her blood is not hurting this monster is shocking…

“Die!” Lioness said huskily, diving more for her heart

The necklace on kimora’s neck shone brightly and Kimora got the strength to pull it, she made it face Lioness and Lioness went blind

“Aarrggghhh!!!!” She screamed loudly as the spot she’s standing on broke as if an earthquake happened, Lioness fell into the crack and kept screaming till her screams faded off

Kimora’s chest is bleeding and she’s losing strength and breath already

She looked at Darrin and her look made him fall dead, sucking life out of him

She looked at Rachel and flashed her pink eyes at her, she lost her sight and fell blindly

Kimora smiled when she saw Jimin entering

“Kimora!” He shouted, rushing to her

He held her to himself, her blood is gushing out of her chest

“My heart…got wounded…by the demon” she cried, smiling at the same time

” What!” Jimin said shockingly, looking at her chest, her blood is still pumping out

Kimora raised her hand to his face and rubbed his cheeks gently

“I love you” she said, smiling faintly

“I love you more, hold on ok?, You’ll be fine” he said, crying too

” I told you I’ll protect you and end your enemies right?, Lioness is gone, your curse has been lifted, Rachel is blind, she can’t do anything to harm you anymore…..” She said, still rubbing his cheek

” Kimora….my baby….” He said tearfully, crying more loudly

” I’m sorry I couldn’t fufil the third promise, I couldn’t give birth to your baby” she cried

” No, don’t say that again…. nothing is going to happen” Jimin said, touching her belly

” Min-Min I love you so much” she said

“Kitten I love you too” he replied and her eyes closed instantly

Her body fell lifelessly and her hand fell from his face

“Kimora…. open your eyes, it’s just five days left, I need to carry my baby, I want to become a father…. Kimora, Kimora please!” He cried, holding her bloody body to himself and there’s truly no beats in her heart anymore
