BURNING AFFECTION - EPISODE 44 AND 45

Kimora’s blood stained the ground as it oozed out of her wounded hand, it hurts like crazy,,

Tears continued rolling out of her eyes down her cheeks as Cal stepped away from her hands, she couldn’t move a finger before but now that her fingers has been wounded badly, it’s worse

She kept laying there and Cal laughed when he saw how much the sorrow and pains she’s in

“Cool, your lover boy will soon locate this place I guess, and you know what I’ll do to him when the idiot comes?, I’ll kill him and throw his body into the Yeosu sea, get ready to cry more” he said callously

” Why?,… Why are you doing all these?, Why are you so wicked?” Kimora managed to talk and Cal bent beside her

He grabbed her hair and turned her face to himself again, hurting her neck

“Do you know my full name?, It’s Callum, but I do wonder why mother didn’t name me Callous instead cos that’s just my true definition, yes I’m callous, wicked and diabolical, and I’ll always be like this till I get rid of Jimin and take what rightfully belongs to me…..the throne of Miryang” he said and threw her head off, hitting her forehead on the ground in the process and it got wounded, it bled immediately

“Aren’t you the first prince?, The throne belongs to you, why are you going ahead of yourself ” Kimora said weakly

” Morris and his majesty were brothers and everyone knows Morris is the eldest, he was the first prince but grandfather choose father as the crown prince instead of him, history might decide to repeat itself and that’s why I’m doing everything to avert that…. history can’t repeat itself and the only way to avoid that is getting rid of your lover boy, I need to see him suffering first…I know the kind of crazy feelings he has when it comes to you so I have to hurt you first if I must hurt him, then I kill him” Cal replied

Kimora ceased to talk again, instead, she sobbed silently

“Darrin” he said

“Your highness” Darrin replied

“Leave her in pains till tommorow, tommorow night, send a letter to Jimin through the pigeon and tell him to come here, I want to see him go crazy when he sees his lover like this, I’ll contact better killers, he’s dying tommorow, right here” Cal said

” I’ll do as you say your highness” Darrin replied.

” Jimin Jung….” Cal said with a wicked smile.

Evening**

Kimora has been missing for seven good hours, Royalty ordered a general search of the whole town by the palace guards and it’s all very abortive, there’s still no sign of her

Tania made sure that Ginelle wasn’t informed so she won’t have to come to the palace to cause trouble

Headmaid Ambrosia has been as worried as hell and Royalty ran out of ideas on what to do, it’s surprising that Suzy is worried too though she pretended she’s not

“She still hasn’t been found?” She asked her maids during the walk to Jimin’s room

“No your highness, even after the guards has combed the whole town, she wasn’t found”

She released a soft sigh as they got to Jimin’s room, she knocked the door but no answer came, she opened the door and saw an empty room

“Where did he go?”

Flower garden**

Jimin sat beside the water quietly, throwing stones in the water

If there’s anything more than confused and sorrowful right now, then that’s his current state

Kimora still couldn’t be found, even before he could take action, Royalty has ordered the guards to search the town though it wasn’t fruitful, she still wasn’t found

When he remembered the flower garden, he came with the hope that she’ll be here but that hope crashed when he couldn’t find her and that’s why he’s sitting right here

He doesn’t know what to do and right now, his head is blank when it comes to ideas, no clue or whatsoever

He threw another stone in the water and smiled sadly

Thinking of how he has been avoiding her since days ago is making him hate himself, now he knows how selfish and inconsiderate he has been

She’d have been hurt like like hell, he hurt her and even planned to give up on them, only a coward gives up and right now he’s admitting it that he’s a coward, a foolish one at that

He couldn’t stop his tears anymore, it fell from his eyes and he sniffed gently, looking at the tears that dropped in his hand

“Kimora” he said silently

Gentle wind blew around the garden but even at the gentleness, he’s still feeling cold, he hasn’t been eating well since days ago and yesterday he didn’t even eat a thing, today he hasn’t even tasted water cos even water stinks to his nose

He started wondering if Kimora ate for the past sad days or not, wondering how much she’d have missed him, then how sick she’d be if he’s so sick like this himself

His temperature is so hot right now and his breath is even hot, headache is worrying him, pounding one..

“Then how has she been faring for the past few days.. I’m such a fool I didn’t even think about that before deciding to give up…” He thought

His tears is still pouring though slowly

Then thinking of where she’ll be or whoever kidnapped her, “will she be getting tortured right now?” He thought

Hid head suddenly made a loud noise and he rushed to stand, he held his head and screamed out loud, he almost fell in the river but someone held him…

“Suzy” he said, looking at her

When did she even get here???

“I know it must hurt a lot, but please don’t do this, I love you so much and I don’t want to see you getting hurt, your tears is hurting me” she said sadly

” Suzy my heart is bleeding, I’m a coward, I’m foolish and crazy” he replied

” You’re not a coward, you aren’t crazy and you aren’t foolish,you were just childish back that, and that’s why you always tell father that you want him to choose a wife for you, you’re just scared, and that’s why you started avoiding her… Jimin stop crying, she’ll be found I promise you” she said, wiping his tears

” I miss her so much, I just miss her” he replied

Suzy hugged her comfortingly

” I know… love hurts, but no matter what, it conquers” she said, patting his back.

Night**

Jimin has been staring at the note that was found in kimora’s room for hours, unable to detect the owner of the handwriting

Tania said it’s not Kimora’s so it must be written by the kidnaper

If it’s Cal, that means Cal knows about their affair and maybe kidnapped her to make him suffer.. the Cal he knows will go any extent to see him suffering

“But this is not his handwriting” he thought, still staring at the note

He spranged up when he remembered something

” Cal was in the wedding…then…..” He said and started leaving the room

He opened the door and saw Riya who was just about to come in

“I’ve been with my parents since the end of the wedding, I spent much time with them cos today is my last day with them, are you mad at me for not showing up quickly?, Did you miss me?” She said, licking her lips

Jimin pushed her roughly out of the way and she fell

“Ouch!” She whimpered, watching as Jimin left the chamber

“What’s wrong with him, darn!” She remarked, standing up and entering the room

Jimin got to Cal’s chamber and met Darrin just about to enter Cal’s room

“Darrin!” He said loudly and he stopped

“Your highness” Darrin bowed

He came to Darrin and gave him a kick on the face first, Darrin staggered and blood escaped his lips

“Your highness” he said, looking at Jimin shockingly

He wasn’t expecting that move from him

Jimin grabbed his neck with his right hand, chocking him against the wall, pouring out all his anger on him

“Where’s Kimora?” He asked, tightening his grip round his neck

He started coughing loudly, rolling his eyes, his legs has left the ground completely right now

“Your high … Highness…I …I don’t… know what you’re.. talking.. about” he replied incoherently

” You choose death right?” Jimin said, slapping him with the other hand

He vomited blood which flooded down his robe

“Your highness…I really know nothing about….

Before he could finish, Jimin threw him down and he fell heavily

Jimin grabbed his sword which fell off when he grabbed him earlier

He drove it out of the sheath and made to just cut off his head but Cory held his hand suddenly

“Let go of my hand” Jimin said

“You said I’m like a friend and brother to you right?, Then listen to me” Cory replied

” Cory let go of my arm!” Jimin yelled

“Killing him won’t solve anything, we just need to interrogate him with hard torture” Cory said

” And even with hard torture, if he’s really the one,you think he’ll confess?, Cal has bought his soul and he won’t talk!, This bastard here won’t spill his secret!” Jimin replied

Cory bent beside Darrin who’s breathing heavily

He took the note and spread it in front of him

“You wrote this.. right?” He said and Darrin scowled at him.

” What are you talking about?, It’s not my handwriting” he replied

” Bravo!, Nice!, So now you’ve decided to trespass into my territory and treat my personal guard like trash” Cal said, coming out of the room

” Cal Jung…. Where’s Kimora” Jimin asked gently

” And how am I supposed to know where she is, how am I supposed to know where your so-called lover is!” He yelled back

Jimin went to him and looked him In the eyes

” Where the heck did you keep her!, What has she done to deserve what you’re doing!”

” How pathetic… Jimin Jung is going crazy cos of a low maid, the second prince of Miryang is losing his mind cos of a worthless maid” Cal said and Jimin slapped him twice in the right cheek before punching his face

Cal staggered and almost fell but Darrin stood and held him

He looked up and faced Jimin

“You just…did the abominable” he said

“If I don’t find her Hale and hearty before the end of tomorrow, I won’t mind what’ll happen Cal Jung, I’ll kill you” Jimin said and left with Cory

Cal laughed loudly

” Just what I want to see, the hurt and pains in his eyes is enough for me, I love the fact that he’s hurting, the fact that he’s suffering because of her absence is enjoyable….. Fool, you’ll meet her tomorrow, but you both are dying together” Cal said.

Jimin’s room***

Jimin got in and saw Riya sitting on the bed in only her inner white transparent garment which revealed all her underwear, he behaved as if no one is in the room with him and went to the window

He placed his elbows on it and stared out to the stars on the sky, it reminds him greatly about her, he’s surprisingly seeing her face in the sky and he smiled sadly

“I miss you” he whispered, raising his hand up as if to touch her face in the sky

He suddenly felt arms around him and he stood straight, it’s surely Riya

“It’s our first night, shouldn’t we make it memorable?, I really want to be on that bed with you right now” she said, holding his tummy tightly

” Can you get the hell away from me!” He yelled, pushing her away from himself, she stepped back from him shockingly, second surprise

“Why are you like this, we’re a couple, you’re being harsh, it hurts, I love you very much” she said, playing the pity card

” Never in your life… make the mistake of touching me anymore… else I’ll wound you” he said seriously

” Jimin…

“And get hurt as much as you want.. it’s just the start, I guess you’ll have a lot of wounds to treat, I’m not your husband!, I hate the sight of you and I hate everything about you, I hate you around and your voice is irritating to my ears, so if you love yourself…stay away from me” he said and stormed out of the room

Riya walked slowly to the bed and sat slowly

“They said he’s kind” she thought.

Next morning**

Jimin stayed in the garden till daybreak though he didn’t sleep, he just kept staring at the stars and when the stars disappeared before dawn, he left the garden and went to kimora’s room in the maids chamber

He entered and walked slowly around, he has never really entered, this will be the first time

He looked around and the smell of medicine and ink filled his nose

“More like her” he said silently then smiled sadly again

He saw a book on the drawing table and sat then started turning the pages, it’s shocking that only fifteen pages of the book were occupied with other paintings, the remaining thirty were of his paintings

Then he saw a part of his first painting that’s thinner than the rest, it looks like water dropped on it but it’s not water, he’s sure it’s tears, she must have been crying while drawing it

He folded his palm hurtfully and hit it on the table

“Kitten” he said, burying his face on the table

He stayed in the room for hours till evening when he came out

Cory met him just in front of the maids chamber

“I’ve been following prince Cal secretly since morning like you requested but I lost him some minutes ago, I don’t know his present location but a letter arrived” Cory said, giving him the letter

★ locate the cave in Miryang woods and come into it, find the house in it…. Kimora will be waiting ★

“We need to go now” Jimin said and Cory held him

” It might be a trap”

” I don’t care!” Jimin snapped

The hideout**

It has been surrounded with killers who were hired by Cal and traps has been set Inside the house itself

Cal is walking around, looking at everything interestingly

Kimora is still laying on the ground lifelessly, same spot as yesterday, her hands hurts a lot and she’s almost out of breath

Darrin stood by the door, watching when Jimin will appear with Cory

“I can’t wait for him to appear, I’m so thirsty to kill him together with his lover” Cal said

” He’ll be here soon” Darrin replied, hearing footsteps already but no one entered

” What’s that footstep sound?” Cal said and Darrin made to go check but was suddenly raised up by an invisible thing, his head hit on the hard roof and he came back with a wounded head, blood from the head is all-over his face as he landed unconsciously on the ground

Cal was taken aback and refused to move from his spot

“Who’s there!” He said loudly, fear is in his voice

Nails suddenly tore through his belly and he screamed out in pains

Invisible hands grabbed him and threw him out of the cave, he landed on the ground unconsciously with an heavy thud, bleeding heavily from the tummy

The Killers surrounding the place are all lying around unconsciously too

Petal landed back in and looked at Kimora pitifully, he magically raised her up and made her back the wall

Kimora opened her eyes slowly and saw Petal in front of her

“You’re finally…here” she breathed

“I’m sorry I came late, I was trapping Mazu and while doing that, I mustn’t use my powers for anything else and that’s why I couldn’t come…. I’ve only trapped him shallowly but I couldn’t take your sufferings anymore so I had to come even when the trapping isn’t over” Petal said, bending beside her

” Mazu has been trapped?”

“Yes, but I didn’t finish, and because of that, he’ll only be trapped for a while, he might come back anytime but for now you’ll be at peace” Petal said and wore the necklace on her neck

” My.. necklace?” Kimora said, touching it

“Yes, it’s back, I was able to take it” Petal said

” How were you able to trap him?”

“Rest first, after you might have regained your strength, I promise to tell you everything including who am I and who Mazu is” Petal replied

” Why did I lose my powers?”

” Your fated lover avoided you….. it’s dangerous, try to always be beside each other… once he’s back beside you, you’ll be fine” Petal said and kissed her forehead

The wounds on her hands and forehead vanished though not completely

“When you have your lover beside you, the rest will heal up, you’ll get back your strength” Petal said

” He wants to give up” Kimora replied

“He won’t, he’s here” Petal said and vanished

Jimin came in with Cory immediately and he almost fell as he ran blindly to her, he knelt in front of her

“Kimora…” He said, checking her out all-over

She refused to talk, she just stared at him

“You’re hurt” he said at the verge of tears, seeing the remaining wound on her hands and head, the pretty face he’s madly in love with

He held her face in his palms, feeling more hurt at the wounds

“I’m sorry” he said but she slapped his right cheek in reply

He closed his eyes and opened it again but she immediately slapped his left cheek too

“Do it repeatedly, I deserve it” he said

“I hate you” she said and started hitting her hands on his chest

” I’m sorry” he said

“Jerk” she said again, still hitting his chest

“Kimora I’m sorry… I’m sorry for hurting you…I love you crazily Kimora…I love you” he said

She stared hurtfully at him, hovering her eyes on his face, the beautiful eyes she loves seeing so much, she missed him so damn much

Her hands stopped hitting his chest and instead, he pulled him to herself by his robe and their lips met….
