BURNING AFFECTION - EPISODE 26 AND 27

Kimora kept choking him while the harsh wind kept blowing, it’s like the wind is giving her more energy

“Kimora… Kimora come back… Kimora please” Jimin kept pleading, coughing and gasping for breath already, still bleeding

Kimora’s necklace suddenly came dangling and an idea popped up in his head

He swiftly pulled the necklace from her neck and made it face her, bright light emanated from the Jade pendant and shone on her face

“Aaarrrrgg!!!” She screamed but the voice is husky like a man’s

She fell on the ground and Jimin quickly sat up though he’s damn weak, he carried her head and hugged it to himself, she’s back to her human form right now

“Kimora wake up!, Kimora!” He shouted, shaking her but she won’t even budge

A loud laughter made him look up to see a demon in front of him, his heart skipped beats as he saw him, he’s damn scary!

“Who… who’re you…” He asked fearfully

The demon faced him swiftly and his eyes spits evil and darkness

“Star king!, The only demon who once resided in the star, how dare you try to have anything to do with her!” He barked, dark flames blowing everywhere around him

” Who are you to her?, Did you possess her just now?” Jimin asked boldly

Star king smiled evilly and it echoed dangerously before he faced Jimin again

“Yes I did, and about who I am to her, you’ll find out soon, but that’s if you’re still alive to witness that” star king replied and started coming closer and closer

” Stop!, Don’t come closer!” Jimin said but he kept coming

Few steps before he’ll get to him, Jimin raised the necklace pendant and the light from the Jade hit star king’s face…

“Jade of light?, Darn it!” He spat and vanished immediately

Jimin breathed heavily, he spit out blood again, his neck hurts like crazy

He returned to trying to wake Kimora up

“Kimora!, Kimora!!, Kimora!!!” He called loudly but she still won’t wake

He fixed the necklace back on her neck and waited for a while, she eventually opened her eyes and he smiled

“You’re awake” he said, smiling wider

She sat up and when she saw the bruises on his neck, her eyes widened

“What the heck happened to your neck?, What happened?” She asked, touching the bruises while he cringed in pains

Traced of blood is still on his lips

“Tell me what really happened?” She asked

“You really… don’t remember?” He asked

” Remember what?” She asked and Jimin kept staring at her

Kimora suddenly held her head, remembering how she held his neck and choked him

Her eyes widened as all the memories came back to her

“No…. no….no….’ she continued muttering,, drawing back from him

“Kimora…

” I hurt you?” She said, tears threatening to fall from her beautiful eyes

“It wasn’t your intention, you were possessed trust me” Jimin replied, drawing closer to her but she kept shifting back till she eventually stood

“Kimora” Jimin said, standing up too

Tears is rushing down her face already by now

“Jimin I hurt you” she said in tears

“And I said you were possessed, that wasn’t you Kimora” he replied

” No…’ she whispered and ran out of the garden immediately

“Kimora!!” He screamed but she didn’t budge to come back

Jimin held his neck and spit out blood again before staggering out of the garden, he’s weak as hell

“Your highness!” Cory came rushing and can’t hide his shock when he saw him

“Cory….guide me in..” he said weakly

“Jimin what exactly happened to your neck?” Cory said, too shocked

“Just take me in” Jimin replied weakly

Cory quickly heaped him up in his arms

“I never told you to carry me” he said

“But you look too weak” Cory replied, rushing into his chamber

He got to his room and lay him on the bed gently.

“I’ll get the physician” he said

“No you can’t”

“Then what do I do?, You’re dying” Cory said with concern

” I’ll be fine” he replied

” Jimin Please… Your neck needs to be treated” Cory said

” I’ll surely be asked where I got the bruises from, what do you think I’ll say?, I have nothing to say to anyone about that part so just stay with me, I’ll be fine” he replied, closing his eyes

Cory sighed and sat beside him, his arm mistakenly touched his body, the hotness has started again

He quickly got a wet towel to wipe his whole body with and Jimin eventually slept off

Kimora’s room**

She entered her room with streams of tears falling down from her eyes

She closed the door and backed it before bending in great sorrow and sadness, she had to cover her mouth with her palm so her tears won’t attract Tania whose room is just beside hers

The scene of how she hurt him came rushing into her head again and she cried more

When she remembered the bruises on his neck and the blood on his lips, she cried even more

“Jimin” she muttered between her tears and sat on the ground completely

“This is definitely the dark entity the voice always tells me about, who’s he?” She wondered silently

” Star king, he was once a king in the stars but got chased out of the star city cos he turned into a demon overnight” the voice said Kimora stood quickly

” I hurt him, I hurt the one I was supposed to protect, my heart hurts like crazy” she said

” You don’t have to blame yourself for that, you were possessed by him and that’s why you were able to hurt the prince, don’t feel bad” the voice said

” He’s badly hurt and I feel very guilty” she said slowly

“You don’t have to, now you have to be more careful, that Jade of light necklace will become his principal target, keep it with all you have, and you can’t allow him to posses you the second time, even if he does, you need to fight him” the voice said

” Why is he after me?, Why did he have to possess me just to hurt Jimin?, What business do we have with him?” She asked

” I’m sorry child, this is not the time for talks about it” the voice replied

” This is how you always leave me confused I’m fed up!, I don’t even know who you are or your relationship with me, I’m damn confused!” She shouted, sweating heavily

” It’ll soon come, I mean…the time to show you myself, soon” the voice replied.

” At least…. tell me your name” she replied

“Petal” the voice replied and everywhere went silent, she’s gone

Next morning**

“He’s resting, he says he doesn’t want anyone to disturb him” Cory said to Suzy who wants to enter Jimin’s room

“Resting?, Early this morning?” She said

“Yes your highness” he replied

” Ok, I’ll take my leave” she said and turned to go

Cory made to close the door but she came back and kissed his chin suddenly

“Just felt like doing that” she said with a pretty smile before leaving

” She just… smiled?” Cory wondered, rubbing his chin as he shut the door and went back to Jimin who’s just waking up

“You’re awake” he said

“I told you I’ll be fine” Jimin replied and Cory felt his temperature, it’s back to normal

“I’m glad, but the bruises on your neck, how did you get it, what exactly happened last night” Cory asked

” I already said I’m not ready to say anything about it to anyone” he replied, getting down from the bed

” Oh .. ok I’ll stop trying to know about it, but are you really ok?, The bruises don’t hurt?” Cory asked

” I’m ok” Jimin replied

” You won’t be able to go out cos of your neck” Cory said

” I’ll go out, I need to see Kimora, I’ll just use shawl or muffler to cover my neck” he replied, entering the bathroom

Cory mixed his bath already so he took his bath and came out clean

Cory dressed him up and he covered his neck with a thin white muffler, attached to his robe

“Go check weather she’s in the kitchen, if she’s not there, then check her room, I really really need to see her” he said

” Yes your highness” Cory replied and left the room

“Why am I missing her insanely even when she’s in this palace, I want to hug her and be with her right now, I want to do things with her and just … I miss her a lot” he said to himself.

Maids chamber**

” What’s wrong with you!, What are you thinking about!” Headmaid Ambrosia yelled as the third cup fell from Kimora during dishwashing

It’s the third cup she’ll be breaking this morning and it’s so uncommon of her

“I’m so sorry headmaid” she said slowly

“Are you ok?” Tania asked beside her and she nodded slightly

” Leave for now, you can come back when you’re ok” Ambrosia said and Kimora slowly left the kitchen

She went to the silent space behind the kitchen and sat sadly

How can she be ok when Jimin will surely be hurt right now?, How can she be ok when she’s missing him so much, she’ll definitely not be ok when she badly wants to touch him and feel his warmth, she really wants to hear his voice and soothing words but at the same time she doesn’t want to

The guilt that she hurt him is still bothering her and that’s just so crazy, she’s almost in tears when Janis joined her

“Hey” he said, settling beside her

“I want to be alone” she said, not looking at him

“Are you ok?, What’s wrong?” He asked

” Nothing, I don’t want to talk,I just want to be alone, that’s what I want right now” she said

” Kimora…

“Janis please…. just let me be I beg you” she said

Janis sighed and stood. ” When you’re ready to talk, I’ll always be available ok?” He said and left

“Star King, what’s your bussiness with I and Jimin?, Petal, even though you put me through and tell me things, but you’re a great confuser, what do I do?” She asked herself

She closed her eyes and suddenly started seeing the royal shaman

“I paid your money to mistress Yeo Sang already” the man Ginelle served last night said after they woke up

“I hate when my money gets paid to mistress Yeo Sang, I already told you to pay me my money instead” she replied

” Go get your money from her, and thanks for last night, you were sweet, just like honey” the man said and touched her bare shoulder but she slapped his hand away and stood, she quickly dressed up and left the room

She came across Demi by the door and stopped

“Finished selling your body again” Demi said

Ginelle is the best gisaeng in the slut house while Demi follows but no doubt that almost all the men wants Ginelle so there’s surely jealousy

“Get out of my face” Ginelle said coldly and Demi laughed

Ginelle decided not to continue talking, she might just break down in tears and she hates it

She stormed out of the room and went to the changing room where she changed to her normal clothes and wiped her makeup before leaving the house

She got to a corner at the market place and bent in sorrow, she let out the tears she never wanted to shed

“I’m in a mess” she cried loudly ,not minding the passerbys

” Ginelle?” She heard Brayden’s voice and never bothered to look up

Brayden was passing by when he saw her, he came to her and bent in front of her

“What’s wrong?, Why are you crying?” He asked but she never answered, she continued crying

He raised her face and her teary face looks pathetic, she’s crying for real

“Whatever it is, sorry ok?” He said

She kept crying like a kid till he hugged her and pat her back gently, calming her down..

“It’s ok, stop crying” he said

“Star king released lioness from my trap?” Kimora said shockingly

” Yes, right in front of my eyes” Gaeul replied

Kimora took a deep breath

” I guess he’s really more powerful” she said

“He was once a king in the stars who was banned from the stars because he turned to a demon overnight, he came to earth and I’m sure something happened between him and a goddess named Petal, but I don’t know the story” she said

” Petal?, She’s a goddess?” Kimora asked

” Yes, she’s a flower goddess who went into hiding since some years ago, I don’t know why though, I think we have to investigate about the story, it must be related to you” Gaeul said

” I think so” Kimora replied

“But I have a request” Gaeul said

“Tell me”

“Can you….show me your human appearance?, I promise with my life that I won’t spill it to anyone even if it costs my life” Gaeul said

Kimora sighed and turned her back on Gaeul, she feels a whole lot of righteousness from her so she believes her

She transformed into human and faced her..

“One of the maids” Gaeul gasped

“Kimora” she replied and transformed back to her mythical form

“I promise your protection so far you’ll be protecting prince Jimin” Gaeul said

” I got possessed last night and I nearly killed him” Kimora said

” By star king?”

” Yes, and Petal has been communicating with me though she has never showed herself” Kimora said

” Now that I look at you closely, you look a lot like Petal” Gaeul said

” I need to go now” Kimora said and vanished

” Why will she look like Petal and why will star king be after her and Jimin?” Gaeul wondered.

Palace… night**

Jimin has been heartbroken since Cory reported that he didn’t find Kimora, neither in the kitchen nor in her room

He has searched round the whole palace and still couldn’t find her

He’s currently in the flower garden, sitting and watching the stars alone and it’s even more crazy that he’s seeing her face in the stars

“I miss her greatly, I want to see her and hold her to myself, I miss her so much” he thought, standing up

He’ll keep thinking about her if he stays in the garden and might end up shedding tears so he decided to leave but immediately he turned back, he saw Kimora behind him, staring at him

Kimora missed him a lot and craved to see his face, even if it’s just a glimpse, that’s why she came here cos she’s sure he’ll be here, and he is

She never wanted him to see her but she’s staring with all her mind, so much that she’s unaware of when he stood earlier

“Kitten” Jimin said surprisingly

She turned around and started running away, she tried to teleport to her room but it’s not working till he crossed her in the front

Seeing his muffled neck made her start feeling guilty again

“Why are you avoiding me?” He asked

“I hurt you” she replied slowly

” And i said it wasn’t you, you were possessed” he replied, breathing heavily

” Still, I feel guilty and…I don’t want to be around you” she lied

It’s true that she feels guilty but it’s a big lie that she doesn’t want to be around him, her whole being knows she wants to touch him right now

Jimin stood speechless as she started walking away but he quickly came back to his senses and rushed after her

He grabbed her arm and turned her to himself before slamming her back gently on a big flower tree…

He held her face and crashed his lips on hers hardly

Kimora’s eyes refused to close, instead, she cried slowly as he kissed her ..

The flower petals rained on them in handfuls as he continued feeding sweetly on her lips

Her heart won’t stop beating fast and right now, she wants this, even more..

She was about to start reciprocating when Jimin broke it and slowly looked at her

“You’re so beautiful kitten” he said affectionately, wiping her tears gently with his thumbs

“Jimin…” She whispered and he smiled then touched her lips

“I finally got to hear you say my name again” he whispered back

She held his sides delicately and continued looking at his beautiful eyes

“Tu me manques” he whispered in French

“That means what?” She asked

“It means I missed you” Jimin replied, still rubbing her soft lips.

“I missed you more” she replied

“Je t’aime” he said in French again

” And that means?” She asked

“Figure out the meaning yourself” he said and held her to himself possessively before slamming his lips on hers again

This time soft and gentle…
