BOGUS BILLIONAIRE - Season 5 Episode 52
Caroline only found out that her name had trended the next day.
She didn’t pay much attention to that kind of thing and only realized it because she had been
checking the views on Sonia’s new webseries.
“Since last night until now, the accumulated views hasn’t even broken five million yet,” the head
of the advertising department said with a frown, rapping the desk in the conference room.
“Ms. Evans, I don’t think the show will become popular.”
Caroline’s expression was indifferent.
The head of the marketing department used this opportunity to ask, “Ms. Evans, shouldn’t we
adjust our strategy? The plan of waiting for our ambassador’s webseries to go viral has always
been an uncertainty.”
Caroline fiddled with the pen in her hand and stayed silent.
Meanwhile, the heads of some other departments also brought up some suggestions. On the
whole, they agreed with the marketing department head.
They wanted Caroline to switch up the strategy and use Layla’s popularity to make some sales.
Finally, Caroline stopped spinning her pen and looked up at the others.Contents belong to NovelDrama.Org

“Our online branding is a mess right now. If we push our products now, do you really think people
will buy them?”
Her words shut everybody up.
She continued, “Just do your jobs for the next few days, and everything will be fine.”
After that, she walked straight out of the room.
Before she could take a few steps, she found Layla and Emery in the office giving out candy in
celebration of their success.
Caroline strode expressionlessly into her office on her high heels.
Seeing Caroline walk in, Cheryl closed the door and lamented, “How could they just let those
people inside? Don’t they know how to stop strangers from coming in?”
Just as Caroline was about to speak, the door was pushed open, and Layla and Emery waltzed in.
Caroline looked up slightly to meet Layla’s gaze.
“Caroline, you must have watched my live stream last night, right? If you didn’t, it’s a great shame.”

“Angry already? How do you expect to be a business owner if you can’t handle losing?” Layla said
tauntingly.
Cheryl said, “Get out. Are you hard of hearing?”
“Don’t be so anxious.”

Layla pushed Cheryl aside and came to stand before the desk. She spread her palms out on the
desk’s surface and glared coldly at Caroline.
“Caroline, I want to see how long you can grit your teeth through this. Hear me: this seat belongs
to me, and I’ll take it back.”
Despite this, Caroline maintained a sedate smile that didn’t waver.
Layla gritted her teeth. “Let’s go.‘
Emery sashayed out behind Layla as they both left Evans Group.
When they got into the elevator, Layla’s features immediately twisted. “F*** her. How dare she
act all high and mighty when they’re going to be ruined?”
Emery quickly went along with her. “Layla, she won’t know fear until she faces the consequences.
Just you wait. A few more days, and she’ll come to you crying and begging.‘
Hearing this, Layla regained her smile.
At the same time, in Caroline’s office, Cheryl was in a tizzy.
“Caroline, after last night, all the staff are losing hope. If we don’t do something quick, all the
money invested will be gone.
Caroline chuckled. “Cheryl, have you heard of this?”
“Heard of what?”
“Stay the course.” Caroline flipped through the books on her desk.
“If we’re swayed by any small things that happen and don’t trust in our own marketing decisions, that proves that we’re being shortsighted. All we can do now is wait.”
“But…”
Caroline waved a hand. “Let’s keep waiting. Consider this a method of training yourself. Once you survive this, you’ll be one step closer to success.”
