“Oh.” After coming out of the first house, Gwen was so tired that she leaned into Caroline’s arms.

She asked, “Do you know what I’m thinking about?”

Caroline said, “You wish Sean was here.”

Gwen nuzzled herself into Caroline’s arms. “You read my mind, Carol.”

At this moment, Gwen had realized the benefits of having Sean around.

He could speak Macovian like Kirk, but he claimed he wasn’t as proficient in the language as Kirk. However, during their last visit, Gwen saw that he didn’t have any problems communicating.

He was totally different from them. Although they could use translation apps, communicating

was too troublesome.

However, the Macovians loved the things Caroline had brought, and they were clearly more enthusiastic than last time. They could’ve talked more if it hadn’t been for the language barrier.

Unfortunately, the hostel owner was too far from the scene, so he didn’t see what happened.

Caroline and Gwen had no choice but to head to the next house. The testimonies of the second

home’s owner were similar to those of the previous one.

“Since it’s still early, let’s ask the driver to take us around to look at the scenery.”

“Caroline’s husband!” Kirk gritted his teeth. After discovering Caroline had arrived in Macovo, he

had rushed here without stopping.

He hadn’t expected Adrian to be here too. When he thought of the possibility that Caroline and

Adrian might be traveling together, he clenched his fists tighter.

Adrian glanced at Caroline, who had just walked through the door, then at the veins on Kirk’s

clenched fist.

He smirked and said, “You won’t be her husband any longer. Caroline told me the first thing she’ll

do after returning home is divorce you.”

Kirk could no longer hold back his anger and jealousy. Losing his rationality, he punched Adrian

in the face.
