I woke up damn hungry. My stomach was making some crazy sounds which I could hear loudly.

I guessed the worms were feeding on my intestines

I rubbed my tummy feeling so hungry. My eyes scanned the clock on the wall. It was passed 3pm

Thank God is Saturday and Aunt Robin has taken Ryan for some acting

My mouth watered and I climbed down from bed

I wore my fling flong slippers and walked out. I felt my body burning up and couldn’t even carry my legs

I walked in a slowly pace till I got downstairs. The door burst opened immediately I got to the sitting room and the maids entered with some rolling box

” good afternoon ma’am ” they greeted and climbed upstairs with the bag

I wondered why Albert will come home with rolling bags. What’s he planning to travel

I walked slowly into the kitchen and I started to dish food for myself

My mouth watered seeing all the meals and I felt the urge to devour all

I dish out my meal of spaghetti and chicken . I didn’t bother to walk to the dinning room as I place it on the table which was located in the middle of the kitchen

I pulled a chair for myself. Staring at the cutlery I groaned and quickly picked up a spoon for myself

I started devouring on the food with great speed as if I haven’t eaten for yes

Phew! that’s because I’m damn hungry

I felt the spoon was too small to carry the quantity I want. So I went further and started using my hand to feed myself

“Those who are always low class will act like one when they are alone” I heard a voice making me raise my head

My eyes widened as I saw Albert mum

“mum…! ” I mumbled

“I know you are surprised to see me and I’m happy to see the real you. The way you devour your food as pigs” she smirked

I stare at my food and then to her

“The moment I saw you at the hospital. I know you were one of those gold diggers and it was confirmed when I found out you were a stripper. I can’t believe my son got married to a public being. Someone who had made herself gone viral. You are a slut a prostitute ” she barked making my eyes watering

I swallowed hard and faced my food

I was about eating when she slammed the spoon for my hand and throw it away

I gasped standing up and before I could get myself together she had slapped me

I looked away not wanting to drop a tear. he held my face and made me face him

He groaned and I definitely knew it was because my body was burning against his

I stared at him and before I knew it i burst into tears

I just couldn’t hold it in his front again

I move my mouth trying to say something but instead more tears kept falling from my eyes

He pulled me to himself

“b.. ..” i couldn’t finish my statement and before I knew it i fell on him

“baby! ” I could hear his faint voice

the second stage kicked on and I was doing well. I haven’t miss a point and so was Rosetta

She kept stealing glances at me and I felt it creepy

“it seems no one wants to back out” he said referring to Rossetta and I

I stared at only Chad in the midst of the audience. He believes in me and I’m not ready to miss another point

I came back to reality when I heard murmuring

“what’s the meaning of the word logorrhea ” he asked and I saw Rossetta gasped

I rolled my eyes. How will she just learn spellings without knowing the meaning

I scan my memory thinking of how and when I had heard it

He got there and raised me from my feet and turned me around

“before we call our winner. Is there anyone from the audience who will want to participate ” we heard a voice

“I am scared.” I said shaking nervously.

my heart began to beat very fast as I saw him on stage

The light on the stage dim and I know he wouldn’t be seeing anyone of us

“Can you please introduce yourself?” I heard one of the judges say.

“Oh i am sorry.” he said moving to the mic stand.

“I am Chad Baxter “he said trying to smile.

“Which song are you singing?” Another female’s voice asked.

“Dim the lights. ” he said and the lights went down a little.

“Thanks. I will be singing falling by Trevor.” he said smiling.

My eyes widened
