“I love how your lip taste” I said making her blushed hard

“stop teasing me. My cheeks hurt ” she mumbled
“I don’t think I can ” i said making her rolled my eyes

“Thanks lover boy can we eat now” she asked

“sure baby let me feed you” i said. I dropped her from my lap and make her sit on the bed. I placed the tray of food on my lap and faced her

“hmmmm. Its casserole dish ” shemumbled

“yeah and it’s your favorite ” I said . She raised her eyebrow at me wondering how I knew her favourite

“don’t give me that look. I know my wife pretty much ” I said

“just feed me already ” she slapped her forehead

I giggled at her behavior and gave feed her

I watched her chew on it and instantly cover her mouth

“baby are you alright? ” I asked and she nodded

“Wat…. er” she managed to say. I gave it to her and she gulped it down her throat

She immediately stood up and ran to the bathroom

“baby” I called fearfully and ran towards the bathroom too

I met her throwing up

I stared at the food and then to my wife who lay weakly on the bed

“are you sure you don’t wanna see the doctor” I asked

She nodded immediately. I inhaled and took the tray of the food away

I still felt so nervous. The hall was big with different rich people who’s gonna be watching our performance today

Yeah today was finally the spelling bee competition I have been studying so hard for

I hope I can do this

“I’m only doing this to improve your vocabularies. It doesn’t matter if you win or lose. All that matters is I love you ” he said and I giggle

I felt my legs so weak to move and the faces were so unusual

“princess! ” he called making me turned back instantly

“Don’t disgrace me” he whispered in my ears and took my hand as he walked me to the stage

I felt cool abit. We got to the stage and I took my stand. I girl who was standing closed to me flashes a smile at Chad

I scoffed and stared at Chad to see him putting on a straight face

“baby I’m home ” I said entering the mansion but I didn’t get any response

“don’t tell me shes still sleeping ” I mumbled staring at my wrist watch

“weird! ” I said heading upstairs when I heard some sounds from the kitchen

Maybe she’s preparing something

I headed to the kitchen in a rush. I got there and my face dropped

“mom? ” I called shocked

“you are home son” she smile at me

“uhm.. hmm….. mum what are…. you doing.. here” I said stuttering a bit

“I can’t visit my son again ” she frowned

I knew my mum

She wouldn’t just come visiting if she isn’t up to something

I scoffed and rushed upstairs. I hope mum hasn’t done anything crazy

I banged the door opened and was shocked to see leilena in tears

She stared at me and before I knew it she burst into tears

The cold sweat runs down my face. All the participants has been disqualified

Just I and Rossetta (the girl who flashes a smile at Chad ) was left remaining and I must say she’s so smart

This is the last spelling for the first round after which we takes a break before coming back for the second round

Rossetta was ask to spell a word and she spelt it facing the crowd boldly

She got it right and I was next

“miss can you spell for us vivisepulture ” he said making my eyes widened

I have never heard of that word. How on earth will I spell what I haven’t heard

“we are waiting ” his voice came him

I saw him smirked at me .

His was cheating. That word wasn’t among the vocabularies we were given to study

Maybe I should just spell according to the way he’s just pronouncing it

“vicisepture” I spelt biting my lower lip

“wrong! ” he said. I felt embarrassed

I just lost a point. I looked up at the audience and saw Chad in their midst

He gave me a smile and a thumbs up making me feel better

“first round ended. Prepare for second round ” he said

We both walked out of the stage and I ran out looking for a restroom

Luckily, I found one and without hesitation I opened the door and walked in

I washed my face breathing so hard

“feeling like a loser already? ” I heard a voice and I turned to see her

Rossetta, the girl I was competing with

“don’t feel high of yourself. I only lost one point ” I said and she scoffed

“a point that can make you win but I can help you ” she said and I raised up by face to stare at her

I kept quiet and waited for her to speak up

“I can just pretend I don’t know the answer when it comes to my turn and then you have the high chance of winning ” she said

“but that’s only on one condition ” she said and I huffed

“you see I love your boyfriend at first sight. I was thinking if you can help me with him” she said and I choked out

“you are crazy ” I blurted out staring at her if she’s human

I gave her a glare before moving to the door

“even if you won’t help me I will still have him anyway ” she said and I can tell she was giggling
