BEAUTY IN DISGUISE - Episode 6 And 7

Quincy rushed into the class, breathing heavily.

“Did you get chased by a ghost?” Izzy questioned immediately she settled beside her.

Quincy breathed hard and Izzy gave her a more confused look.

“How was the first class?” Quincy asked.

“Why did you miss it?” Izzy asked.

” Answering questions with questions… it’s not my style” Quincy said and Izzy chuckled.

” Answer my question first” she said.

“I was at the library, you don’t expect me to enter the class easily after staining Genova with puke yesterday” she replied.

” But no one knew, he rushed out immediately you slept off” Izzy said.

” Really?”

” Yes, no one noticed, and I took care of every drunk student” Izzy replied.

” How?”

” I got them all into their cars one after the other and their drivers took them home, one Kimberly took you from me, claiming to be your guardian but no matter how much I think about it, she looked familiar” Izzy simply replied.

” Familiar? ” Quincy asked carefully.

“Like someone I’ve seen before…” Izzy replied and her eyes widened.

“Quincy Norbert’s manager!” She said loudly.

“Huh?” Quincy gasped.

“Heard her name is Kimberly… she’s your guardian?” Izzy said shockingly.

” Well….yes” Quincy replied awkwardly.

“Whoa, so where are your parents?” Izzy asked.

“Mum left me for dad since I was young, dad is in … Somewhere far” she replied slowly.

” Oh…sad.. but don’t worry I’m here for you” Izzy smiled and pat her.

Quincy exhaled and Genova came in with Craig.

She quickly hid her face and Izzy brought out her note.

“Here, this is what I jotted, we have an assignment” she said.

“Thanks, I’ll sort it out* Quincy smiled.

Reece suddenly appeared in front of her and her heart leapt.

“R… Ree… Reece” she stammered surprisingly.

He dropped a cupcake in front of her with a wink.

“Thanks for singing SENSATIONS beautifully yesterday, you’re coming to our concert next week right?” He asked.

” Of course… Of course” she smiled shyly.

He smiled back, revealing his cute set of teeth, it’s adorable.

He brought out a ticket and dropped it in front of her.

“Ticket to the concert, see you there” he said and touched her hair again before leaving for his seat.

Reece is definitely a flirt but this is going far.

Is he trying to expand his horizon?

He can’t possibly like that ugly thing in glasses.

I hate her.

She’s not close to charming, how could she.

Students ran their mouths as usual but Quincy kept smiling while checking out the ticket.

She kept the cupcake in her bag carefully like an egg.

“You’re lucky, one of the school stars just gave you an invite” Izzy said.

” I know right?” She replied and looked around, she met the angry stares of the girls and quickly looked away from them.

“What’s Reece trying to do with the poor girl?” Craig wondered aloud.

” I really don’t always want to talk about him” Genova replied.

“I know he’s a flirt…I mean… trapping girls with his winks and making them fall for him with his air kisses but he’s taking his flirting too far on Riri, ion think the poor thing knows he’s unreal” Craig said worriedly..

Genova plugged in his headphones and Craig took it off.

“I’ll kill you Craig” he glared.

“Listen to me please” Craig said.

“You’re saying gibberish” Genova snatched the headphones from him.

” Ok I promise not to talk about Reece anymore, just don’t use those headphones please” Craig pouted.

” I won’t be deceived by your shenanigans again” Genova said and Craig sighed, looking at him innocently.

“Jeez, I hate you” Genova said, hanging it on his neck.

Craig smiled and touched his hair.

“Reece is handsome” he said, mimicking Quincy’s voice.

“Craig…” Genova said and Craig laughed.

” Wait… how did I get to my car yesterday?” He suddenly said.

” Ion know, a drunkard puked on me so I left you in the hall” Genova replied.

” My driver drove me home, I found out after I woke up but… was he the one who took me to my car?” Craig wondered loudly.

” Who knows” Genova replied and Craig groaned.

” You’re so boring”

” Thanks” Genova said with a dry smile as the second lecturer came in.

After the class, they had a one hour break before the next class so most of them went to the cafeteria.

Izzy made her way there with Quincy and she kept smiling, remembering Reece’s words.

*You’re coming to our concert next week right?*

“Gosh!” She blurted.

“You’re totally going crazy” Izzy said.

” I really want to go crazy ” she replied and Izzy laughed.

” Wait…you said something about living two lives yesterday when you were drunk” she said and Quincy’s eyes widened.

” Huh?, Me?….oh… maybe part of the gibberish… how could I possibly live two lives” she replied awkwardly.

” But you’re something else while drunk, you wanted to fly to Andromeda” Izzy mocked.

” I’m stupid I know” Quincy pouted.

They entered the cafeteria and got blocked by a group of five girls .

Are you going out with Reece?

Why did he give you the cupcake?

Why will he even give you a ticket?

Did you seduce him or something?

The questions were thrown in bunches at Quincy’s face and she exhaled.

“You guys should eat, you all came here to eat right?” She said and left them standing, leaving through the other way.

Izzy followed and held her arm.

“You were so cool” she said.

“I know” Quincy smiled proudly.

They bought lunch and settled down to eat.

Polly watched satisfactorily from a corner in the cafeteria and smiled knowingly.

“Hey watcha doing here?” Trinidad asked, appearing beside her.

“I need to get to Molly right now” she said and left to search for her.

She found her in the library, writing the assignments they were given earlier.

She took her note and Molly looked up.

“Hey give me that” she said.

Polly hid it behind and Molly stood.

” Do something for me then I’ll think of giving it back” she replied.

“It’s my note, I don’t have to perform a duty before you give it back” Molly replied.

” Oh lecturer Bong said anyone who fails to write the assignment will get one penalty point, should I seize your note till tommorow and make you get the point?, You know the harm it’ll do to your grades” Polly smiled mischievously.

” Give me back my note!” Molly shouted, trying to take it from her but Polly shifted from the spot and Molly fell, bruising her knees.

“You always want it the hard way right?” Polly smirked and tore a page from the note.

” Michyeosseo? (Are you crazy?)” Molly stood.

“Everyone knows I’m the craziest so it’s useless asking, are you ready to do what I want or should I keep your note and destroy everything you’ve written?” Polly said.

Molly stared at the smiling devil in front of her for a while before talking.

“What do you want?”

Polly smiled more widely and came closer, she whispered something Into her ears.

“What!” Molly said.

BACK IN THE CAFETERIA**

“I was planning to eat cup ramen for lunch, thanks for buying me this” Izzy said, eating from the barbeque in front of her.

“It’s nothing, it’s not expensive” Quincy replied.

” Pissa! (It’s expensive!), I saw when you payed so stop trying to cover up” Izzy replied and Quincy smiled.

” Hey Molly” Quincy said, suddenly sighting her beside their table.

Molly stood there with a bowl, a look that’s hard to understand is on her face.

“Will you eat with us?” Izzy asked with a smile.

” Why are you both even in this school why!” Molly shouted and poured the content of the bowl on both of them, it’s cold water, it’s freezing!, Maybe from the freezer.

“Molly” Quincy whispered shockingly.

Molly grabbed their plates of food and threw it all away then turned their table upside down.

“You both should leave this school!, Leave!” She screamed loudly.

Everyone is watching, most of them are making videos.

” Why are you doing this?, I thought you’re kind” Izzy said and Molly smirked.

” Kind?, That’s out of my league” Molly replied and pushed her, she slipped on the water and fell.

She faced Quincy and started going closer to her while Quincy shifted back, treading carefully on the water so she won’t fall.

“Stop Molly” she said slowly, looking into her eyes.

She seems uncomfortable with that she’s doing and it’s so obvious.

“You just need to leave Maybelline” Molly replied, still coming closer.

She swiftly made to push her at once but someone pulled Quincy out of the way and Molly fell instead.

His strong lavender and chamomile scent filled her nose immediately she landed beside him, she looked at him and met his usual blank face as he stared at Molly in disappointment.

“Are you now like your sis?, Do you both now share a brain?” Genova asked and Molly faced the ground in shame, unable to talk.

“I don’t step into what’s not my business but…” He stopped and looked at Izzy who’s still on the ground and then at Quincy who’s beside him.

“I hate when girls act like Jezebel” he said and walked out of the cafeteria.

Quincy quickly helped Izzy up and they both left the cafeteria.

Molly quickly stood and rushed to the nearest restroom.

She sat on the ground and tears dampened her face within a second.

ANOTHER RESTROOM**

“We can’t possibly go to class with dampened clothes like this” Izzy said and Quincy only nodded, she caught the flu already so she’s weak.

“You’re not saying anything” Izzy said, facing her.

“Izzy I’m cold, ice cubes is in my stomach I think, it’s so cold” she shivered and Izzy felt her temperature.

“Oh no the chilled water must have taken it’s toll on you what do we do, you’re burning up already” she said.

” I need to leave, I want to go home” Quincy quivered.

” I’ll take you”

” No… Kimberly will come, I’ll call her” she replied and made the call.

It only took ten minutes and Kimberly got to the park.

Quincy waved at Izzy as she left with her.

They board a cab which took them halfway and they trekked the remaining meters.

“I told you it won’t be easy, now you’re soaked with some f*cking chilled water, you’re not tolerant to cold water in winter” Kimberly said as she helped her change her clothes and take off her wig.

” I’m sorry for stressing you I was just… bullied and…

“What!, The only daughter of the great Antonio Norbert, bullied?, No you have to stop this game right now, please” Kimberly said

” I’ve only just started and the only advice you could give is give up?”

” What else should I say when it’s so hard even when it’s just the beginning” Kimberly replied.

” I don’t back down easily and you know it….get me the pills please” she replied and Kimberly opened the drawer to get it.

She swallowed it with water and felt better after some minutes.

“My cupcake” she said and took her bag, she got it and smiled, kissing it afterwards.

” Wait….the chilled water didn’t affect your sanity, did it?” Kimberly said and Quincy glared at her.

” It’s just from someone I like” she smiled.

“You fell in love already?, So all my advice went down the drain” Kimberly said.

” Let me be, Reece is cool and handsome and… lovely” she smiled, remembering his cute tooth.

” You fall in love easily and that’s why your heart kept getting broken” Kimberly said before realizing.

Quincy looked at her and she sighed.

“I know you might get angry but take it or leave it, it’s the truth” Kimberly said and left.

” Pest” Quincy said and ate part of the cupcake.

“Yummy!” She smiled, kissing the ticket too.

She got a memo and checked.

“First photoshoot in Korea…. Saturday” she read.

Sent by…. Kimberly!

” Wait…why didn’t she tell me in person… Kimberly!” She screamed and Kimberly came in.

” You now send memos?” She said.

“I thought you’d be too angry to listen to me” Kimberly smiled.

” I hate you” she replied.

” I love you more kiddo” Kimberly smiled and left.

” She’s like a disaster waiting to happen” Quincy said and ate from the cupcake again.

” Yes!”

THE KANG’S MANSION**

“Explain what happened today in details” chairman Kang demanded in his study, Molly is standing in front of him guiltily.

“I bullied Izzy Roberts and Rihanna Norbert” she replied slowly.

“Why?” He asked with the little patience in him

“I wanted to” she replied.

“The Molly I know is a lovely girl who’d never harm others, what came over you!, Did Polly transfer some venom to you?, Have you become a serpent too?” He demanded and tears fell from her eyes.

” I’m sorry dad” she cried.

“Do you know the harm it caused to K group?, Our stock price dropped an hour after the video trended, should I became hypertensive just because I have two girls?, Should I?” He yelled

” Dad I’m sorry” she cried again and Mr Kang raised his hand to slap her but stopped himself.

“After all these gets solved, I’ll give you what you deserve,get out!” He yelled and Molly walked out slowly.

She met Polly on the stairs, smiling satisfactorily.

“Aww, my sis is being a crybaby” she laughed and started wiping her tears.

” Why are you so wicked” Molly said.

“Cos I’m Polly, I was born to be like this, get it right or hit your head on your pride…I shouldn’t be the only bad child don’t you think?” Polly smiled, holding her shoulders.

” We should both behave same since we’re twin sisters and geez!, We darn look alike so much, same blood runs in our veins” she continued.

” I hate you!” Molly screamed and pushed her before rushing upstairs.

Polly smiled evilly, holding the rails.

“I got what I wanted… perfect” she said happily.

” But why is Genova always stepping in for ugly Riri?, Why is Reece acting nice towards her too?” She thought and sighed.

” Anyways this is just the start, I … Polly Kang, I promise to make life hell on Earth for Riri” she smiled.

PRACTICE ROOM**

Genova is sitting in front of the piano, humming a tune he’s about to sing. He finished up and pressed the intro on the piano before he started singing.

” He told me already, can we start now?” Genova replied .

” I’m trying to be lively but you’re ruining it” Reece glared.

“Ion need your liveliness, don’t pretend to be kind” Genova glared back.

” Are you jealous that mum loves me more?, You know it’s kinda obvious” Reece said and Genova folded his fist.

Reece came closer and smiled naughtily.

“Despite playing with the heart of girls, I’m still more popular, That Riri girl tops the list of my preys…I have plans to trap her and then shock her” he said and laughed derisively.

” And oh…. seems you saved her from Molly earlier, you won’t be able to save her from me” Reece laughed again and became serious, he placed his lips directly on Genova’s ear.

“I’m more popular especially among girls, people love me more, I have more fans, mum loves me more, dude you’re more like insignificant” he whispered and Genova pushed him away.

” I lost interest in practice” he said and started leaving.

“Don’t stay in your room alone, you might decide to swallow poison yunno” Reece said and Genova came back.

He punched his face and Reece smiled before punching him back.

“Maybe mum knows you’re a bastard, that’s why she’s treating you less significant” Reece mocked , his lips bleeding just like Genova’s.

“Ion need her care, I can care for myself but since you’re still a toddler, she should give you more attention, you’d probably get a walker soon and I wonder why she stopped breastfeeding you cos you obviously still need breast milk” Genova replied.

Genova walked straight to his room and sat on the bed, wearing his headphones, headache crept into his head and he squeezed up his face.

He later lay on the bed and closed his eyes but that didn’t stop the tears he was trying to obstruct.

Tears slipped out of the corner of his eyes and continued falling.
