BEAUTY IN DISGUISE - Episode 18 And 19

Genova blew a substantial amount of air Into her mouth and she opened her eyes slowly.

“Riri” he called and she vomited water immediately.

“Riri” he called again.

She looked at him weakly.

Now that he’s looking at her more closely, she looks like someone else.

The blush is gone from her cheeks and her hair is wet, sticking together, some wet strands sticked to her face.

“Hey are you ok?” He asked but she just stared blankly at him, unable to speak.

She’s shaking so badly.

He took off the hood he’s wearing and covered her with it before heaping her up in his arms, her arms went round his neck as he started walking in.

He got to the first stair and met Izzy.

“I and Bae has been looking everywhere for her…why is she all wet?” She asked worriedly.

” She fell in the pool, I think she caught the flu” Genova replied.

” What!, That chilly pool?, And to top it all she’s not tolerant to cold water… jeez!” Izzy said.

Genova took her upstairs to their room and dropped her on the bed gently.

“Thanks so much Genny” Izzy said.

“Do you have the kit?” He asked.

” Yes, every room has” she replied.

Genova looked at Quincy again and left afterwards.

“Hey say something will you?” Izzy said while looking for what to change her clothes into

She got jean trousers and a pullover from her own part of the closet.

“I’m not wearing jean” Quincy managed to talk.

“And why are you always wearing big skirts and shirts?, You never wear jean or fitted top” Izzy said.

” Cos ion like them” she replied and Izzy sighed.

” Ok”

She got the usual big skirt and shirt from Quincy’s part of the closet and Quincy took them from her.

“I’ll change for myself” she said weakly and got down from the bed.

She entered the bathroom and Izzy breathed loud.

“Why is she like this?”

Quincy came out after changing, she fell back on the bed and covered herself completely with the duvet.

“Hey you need to rub the balm on your body” Izzy said.

“Ion want to do that” Quincy replied.

” Why are you being stubborn?” Izzy replied.

” Izzy did you find her?” Bae said, coming into the room.

” Yeah” Izzy replied, pointing at her on the bed.

“Babe!” Bae said, rushing to take the duvet off her face but Quincy pulled it back.

“What’s up with her?” Bae asked, facing Izzy.

” Genny brought her, saying she fell into the pool” Izzy said.

“Fell into the pool?, She’s not blind yunno” Bae replied suspiciously.

” Someone pushed me though I dunno who it was” Quincy replied.

” Someone?, Three people are on that list” Izzy said.

“Polly, Red or Trinidad” Bae replied.

” Of course” Izzy said.

They exchanged glances and left the room

Quincy sat up, still shaking badly.

She wrapped the duvet around herself and Reece’s face appeared in her head.

“Why did he leave after kissing me?” She thought.

Her mind went to Genova and the look she met on his face when she opened her eyes beside the pool earlier.

Looks like he cares a lot..

She lay back quietly on the bed.

” Kimberly I’m frezin!” She said.

GAME ROOM**

Students are still playing games when Izzy got there with Bae.

Polly is still by the Scrabble board with the rest of the girls including Trinidad.

It’s surprising that they made up fast, well they’re both devils, maybe they can’t stay apart for long.

Red is at the PS spot, screaming as he controlled the game.

Izzy went to Trinidad and Polly while Bae went to Red.

Izzy pulled their hairs and they both gasped sharply.

“Izzy are you crazy?” Polly demanded, struggling to get away from her hold.

” Let us go!” Trinidad yelled.

“Which of you pushed her into the pool?” Izzy said.

“I think you’re insane, pushed who Into the pool?” Polly struggled.

” Riri,who pushed Rihanna into the pool?* Izzy replied.

” How do you expect me to know!!!” Polly yelled

Bae got to Red and held his shirt, pulling him to herself so their faces are just an inch away from each other.

“You pushed Riri…. right?” She demanded.

” Pushed Riri?, The fact that an anonymous bastard beat me up in a dark room isn’t enough and now I’m getting suspected for pushing an uglyface into a f*cking pool,…I dunno what you’re talking about…you can ask everyone, I’ve never left this room” he said seriously.

Bae looked at Izzy and they let them go before leaving.

” They sounded like they didn’t really do it” Izzy said.

They made their way back to the room.

Genova went to his room to change his clothes after he left Riri for Izzy.

His clothes got dampened with the water as a result of how he carried her in his arms earlier.

He changed and came out, walking slowly through the corridor, wishing that Craig shouldn’t show up anytime soon, the only pest he knows.

“Hey!” A voice made her look back to see Molly.

“Class rep” he said plainly.

“You didn’t eat earlier, will you follow me to the kitchen?, I can serve you another meal” she smiled.

” No I’m ok, I normally don’t like food, I can go around with empty stomach for days without getting affected, thanks for your concern though” he replied and started leaving but she suddenly held his arm.

He looked at her and she slowly let him go.

“Sorry…bye” she said awkwardly.

“Do you have something to discuss with me?” He asked.

“No” she smiled.

“Ok” he replied and left.

Instead of going to the game room, he went to the study to write Mr Bong’s assignment.

He was about to enter when he heard Trinidad’s voice inside, she’s speaking with her mum on phone.

“Yes , the vacation is fantastic….

“I told you not to call me while I’m here, you almost made Polly hate me….

“Your back aches?, I’m sorry about that, did you clean too much?…

” I hate when you’re in pains … Just make sure to take your pills before going to bed…

She hung up and came out, only to meet Genova by the door.

She flinched and almost passed out.

“How long have you been here?” She asked.

“All my existence” he replied.

“Huh?”

“Get out of the way, I have to go in too” he said and she reluctantly left the place.

He went in and Trinidad watched him with a lot of thoughts in her mind.

She spent almost ten minutes watching him before leaving.

Genova hadn’t written half of the assignment when he sighed and looked up, his mind drifted to Riri.

“Is she ok?” He thought and in the next minute,he dabbed his face with his palms.

“I think I should ask myself that question, I’m not ok” he thought and Craig came in.

” I knew I’d find you here” he said

“Not again” Genova replied.

“I’m not here to disturb this time, I also have to write my assignments” he winked, sitting across him.

Genova sighed and they both went silent, writing assignments.

NEXT DAY, GYM HALL**

Quincy got better though she still feels a bit weak.

Walking into the hall with her friends, she searched for Reece with her eyes but he’s nowhere around.

“He didn’t come for gymnastics?, Why?, I miss him” she thought and stood still.

” Hey Riri come on!” Izzy beckoned and she was about to move when Genova came in with Craig.

“Yes,he left this morning” Red said, passing by.

Genova remembered how he beat him up at the restroom yesterday and when he also remembered how he made Riri fall, he felt like beating him up again.

“See you guys around!” Red winked and left.

“He’d have been better as a dog, maybe when God was creating, he ran away from the dog unit and joined the human unit by mistake” Craig said and Genova giggled.

” You’re not different, you escaped the parrots unit to join the human unit too” Genova said.

” Jerk” Craig laughed.

” And why do you think Izzy and bloody Linabae accused us of pushing ugly Riri into the pool yesterday?” Polly suddenly asked, riding the slides with Trinidad.

“Someone definitely pushed her into the pool, Red said he’s not the one, if he did it he’d have told us” Trinidad replied.

” I know right?, So she has one more enemy besides us,who could that be?” Polly said, looking around the hall.

“It’s hard to get” Trinidad replied.

“I just need to check the CCTV footage beside the pool” Polly smiled.

” Let’s do that” Trinidad replied, looking at Genova.

Since she met him by the door of the study room yesterday, she has been restless.

Polly turned her face back to herself.

“Don’t tell me you’ve started crushing on my Genny, I’ve given you Red, you can crush on Red but definitely not my Genny” she said.

” Of course, I won’t dare crush on Genny” Trinidad replied and Polly slowly let her go.

NIGHT**

The afternoon was spent writing assignments .. example of such people are Quincy and her friends .

Some played games or watched movies.

Some spent it in the flower garden, having fun.

They decided to have a pool party this night and the pool is already filled with students.

Girls in their trunks or bikini, guys in their short pants.

“Whatever!” Genova replied.

“Mean sweetheart* Craig replied and Bae smiled at his cuteness again.

“But Izzy is hiding something from me, something happened between us on the orientation day which she’s not ready to tell me, can you please find out?, Just get it out of her mouth somehow” Craig said, holding Bae’s hands.

Merely feeling his hold, she felt butterflies.

“Huh?” She said.

“Persuade Izzy somehow please” he said.

“I’ll try” she replied.

” I’m counting on you please” he smiled.

“Of course” she replied with a smile too.

” I’m going to sleep, we have to go back to Gangnam early tommorow so we can catch up, we have Mr Bong’s class by 9 remember?” Genova said and went in.

” Bae I’ll see you tomorrow, sweetheart wait for me!” Craig shouted, running after Genova.

Bae smiled, watching him till he’s out of sight.

“He’s too cute swears” she said.

NEXT MORNING**

The drive back to Gangnam started as early as six in the morning.

Definitely all the students feel bad that they’re leaving already, the vacation was too enjoyable.

“I wish we could make it a monthly thing, Molly you can persuade our department directors right?, We should go on a two days vacation every month” Polly said.

” Ion have time for that” Molly replied.

” You always give replies that makes me feel like slapping you” Polly sighed.

Quincy stole glances at Genova throughout, thinking about ways to say thanks till they got to school.

“You guys can leave your bags and go for classes, come for them when you’re done” Molly said and they all alighted from the bus.

They walked into the school in groups but one noticeable thing is that everyone is laughing.

Students gathered everywhere, checking their phones and laughing loud.

“Feels weird” Izzy said.

“The blog!” Trinidad said, looking at her phone too.

She started laughing so loud.

Everyone started checking and laughing.

Quincy was lost, thinking about Reece while everyone checked.

Bae and Izzy couldn’t believe their eyes

“It happened again, jeez!, Reece!” Craig said.

Genova stood dumbfounded.

” Riri what’s this” Bae said, showing her the phone

Quincy came back to her senses and looked around to see everyone staring at her while murmuring.

She looked at Bae’s phone and saw a voice note tagged “UGLY RIRI’S CONFESSION”

Bae increased the volume and it played.

She got the greatest shock of her life when she heard her confession to Reece yesterday at the flower garden.

Her eyes widened and she started shifting back.

“No…not true” she whispered, looking at the mocking faces of the students around.

The next thing was chilly water from upstairs, it landed on her and she started shaking badly.

Polly got the waste bin and went upstairs and poured the content on her from there.

She threw down the bin and it landed on Quincy’s head.

Everyone laughed and jeered.

Bae made to go get her but black liquid like oil was poured on her from upstairs then the students started throwing eggs and empty juice bottles at her.

Tears soaked her face already, her heart got broken once again.

She stood there dumbly, crying and letting them do all sort of things to her.

They kept throwing water, oil, eggs and all sort of gross things.

“Reece…why did you do this to me” she thought, crying more .

“Stop!!” Genova’s voice said loudly and everyone went silent, looking at him

Quincy slowly looked up and their eyes met, she immediately ran out of the place and continued running out of school.
