The bridge of Zane’s nose was bruised.

His face sank as he strode out of the door.

Abel looked at her pale and weak face. Her gaze deepened, but he did not say anything in the end. “Rest well. I’ll call a doctor for you.”

She took Timothy and left.

The doctor rushed to the ward. As he staunched her bleeding and applied ointment, he asked, “Who did this? It’s so difficult to heal. Little one,

endure the pain. I must reapply the medicine…”

During the process of applying the medicine, Halle’s face was pale with pain, but she did not make a sound.

Outside the hospital.

The three ones from the Nelson family got in the car.

In the car, Zane grimaced in pain.

Abel looked at it and did not say anything.

“It’s not that I’m suddenly craving food,” Abel smiled. “I just made a

reservation a few days ago and it’s ready today. Why don’t we take it back

“That’s good.” Timothy smiled.

The two of them waited in the car for more than three hours.

When Zane came back, he was drenched in sweat.

It was a hot day.
