Pearl walked into the restroom and started searching for the room Jewel might be, opening every door she saw furiously but when she got to the seventh one, she was dumbfounded at what she saw

Jewel is lying unconscious on the floor and there’s water on the floor, maybe she slipped on it and fell

Then she heard the sound of loud laughter from behind her, she looked back and saw Jenna and Doreen, Jenna is actually the one who’s laughing derisively

“Good for her” Jenna said

“You poured the water?” Pearl said

“Sure, this is just the beginning of her punishment, won’t you thank me for a job well done?, I know this is what you’re coming here to do to her” Jenna said and Doreen bent beside Jewel on the floor

She turned her face and smiled. “Idiotic fool” she said and stood

“I told Kingsley I’ll make her life miserable but he thought I was joking, I’ve just started my hunt, this is just the beginning of her miserable life” Jenna said and laughed again as she went out of the place with Doreen

Pearl looked at Jewel on the floor and hardened her expression

“Maybe you really deserve it” she thought

“What the hell!” Richmond’s voice said from the door, making her jerk up

Richmond rushed to the spot and held Jewel up by the shoulders, shaking her maybe she’ll wake but she didn’t and even in her unconscious state, her head is as hot as fire, he felt her temperature by touching her forehead but it’s damn hot

He looked up at Pearl

“What did you do to her!” He yelled with red angry eyes

” Are you f*cking crazy?, It wasn’t me” she replied

Richmond decided not to waste much time so he carried her in his arms and rushed out of the place

Kingsley rushed to Richmond immediately he saw him and he’s beyond shocked to see she’s unconscious

“What’s wrong with her?” He asked hastily

“Tell the driver to start the car, we need to get her to the hospital!” Richmond said loudly

” Jewel, what happened to her?, Why is she like this” Love said shockingly

Veera and Romina couldn’t hide their shocks too

She came out of the water some minutes ago and this happened already, it’s a great shock

She was taken to the car and the car started driving to the hospital

Richmond and Kingsley stayed in the car with her while the girls changed into simple clothes before leaving for the hospital

They got to the nearest hospital and Jewel was taken in for emergency while they all stayed at the hallway, waiting for a positive result

Pearl appeared last and Richmond spranged up at the sight, he grabbed her hand and took her out of the hospital, they got to the parking lot and he let go of her roughly

“What!” She snapped

“It’s you right?, There’s water on the floor where she had fell, you intensionally poured the water right?, How far are you going to go, just how far is your wickedness going to go!” Richmond yelled

” And i said it wasn’t me!, It wasn’t me!” Pearl yelled and Richmond held her neck immediately, pinning her to the nearest car violently

“Stop saying it wasn’t you when it’s clear that you did it!” He seethed

” Richmond you’re crossing… crossing your….limits….., If I die….you’re going to…to jail..” she said amidst great choking from Richmond’s hold on get neck

She’s coughing hard already before Richmond let go of her

She held her neck and coughed then spit out small blood

Richmond took a step forward and looked at her angrily

“You know what?, No matter how far you go, No matter what you do, Kingsley will never notice you and that’s just the bloody truth you diabolical soul!” He said and left her before going back into the hospital

Love hid when she saw him coming, she has actually been listening all this while cos she followed them when Richmond pulled Pearl out of the hospital

Richmond walked back into the hospital furiously and Love came out of her hiding place

“What was that?, Does that mean…. Pearl is the one who….”

” No no, I don’t want to think about it, I can’t believe it, it’s unbelievable, no it’s not Pearl, it’s not her” she thought and went back in too

” She’s in a critical state right now and she’ll need special attention” the doctor said, coming out of the ward

” Give her all the attention needed, just save her!” Kingsley replied hastily

” She might not wake up soon and she has an high probability of waking up with defaults in her brain” the doctor replied

” This is not a movie for crying out loud cos I know you’re talking about amnesia, is it?” Veera said

” Are you freaking kidding me” Richard said

” No doctor, she can’t lose her memory, I won’t be able to take it if my sister wakes up and is not able to recognize me” Love said

” Doctor don’t make that happen, she can’t lose it” Romina added

” He never said she’ll lose it, he just said she has a high chance of loosing it” Jasmine said

” That’s true, so she might not lose it, I believe she’ll not lose her memory” Ryder added

“Me too, she won’t, I strongly know” Jasmine added

” That’s true, I didn’t say she’ll lose it, I only said there’s a high probability that she will, she might narrowly escape it” the doctor replied

” So…what next?” Kingsley asked

“Hope for the best, she might not wake up soon and she might wake up sooner than expected” the doctor replied and left immediately

Pearl never came back and Love kept thinking about what she heard as they entered Jewel’s ward

She’s on the bed like a lifeless person and that’s just so scary

They all surrounded her bed with different thoughts

“Hangout went wrong” Jasmine said

“I know right?, If we know it’s gonna end like this, we wouldn’t have come” Romina replied

“What really happened?” Love asked , facing Richmond

Richmond hesitated before talking but when he saw everyone looking at him, he decided to talk

“I met her unconscious by the door of one of the restrooms and there’s water by the doorstep, maybe someone poured it” Richmond said

” Sure, she has enemies, definitely Jenna and Doreen” Veera said

” It’s probably Halsey” Ryder said

“It can’t be Halsey, Halsey has been laying low these days” Jasmine said

” Then the main target it Jenna and Doreen” Veera said

” I don’t think so” Richmond inhaled

“You met someone there?” Kingsley asked

“No” Richmond replied and Kingsley detected it immediately that he’s hiding something

“Please wake up soon” Romina said, looking at Jewel again

” By the way, why is Pearl not here” Ryder said

“I dunno, we dunno” Veera said

“Strange” Romina said

Kingsley looked at Richmond and Richmond nodded, meaning his thoughts is right

Evening**

Jewel is still not showing any sign of waking up and everyone is still hoping she does soon, Pearl is not back yet too and that really got Love thinking maybe her suspicions are right

Night set in and Jewel still didn’t wake, just lying helplessly on the bed

“You guys should go to the hotel and sleep, I’ll stay with her” Kingsley suddenly said

” How can you stay with her alone, I’m staying too” Love replied

” Don’t be stubborn, I’ll stay trust me, you guys should go get some rest” Kingsley said

” Then I’ll stay too” Richmond said

” Can I stay alone with her?, It’s a request please” Kingsley said, not looking at anymore, just staring at Jewel on the bed

Veera pulled Romina and Love out of the ward and Jasmine followed, leaving only Richmond and Kingsley

“It’s her right?, It’s Pearl” Kingsley said

“I met her there but she kept saying she’s not the one ” Richmond replied

” It’s ok, you can go” Kingsley said

” Don’t leave her side, stay throughout please” Richmond said

” Sure” Kingsley replied and Richmond left the ward reluctantly

Kingsley took Jewel’s right hand and caressed it in his palms, looking at her as if she should wake up instantly

“My witch, you know… people do say you don’t know the value of something till you lose it, though I’m not ready to lose you but seeing you lying down unconsciously like this is scaring me, now I know what your company means to me, I desperately want to see you smile right now, I want to see you laughing at me and calling me your jerk, I really want to play rough with you…I really really want to…” He said sadly

” I….I love you so much Jewel, I don’t just know how to say it to your face, it’s a hard task to carry out but I know I’ll do it soon, someday… please don’t lose your memory, please don’t lose it Jewel, I won’t be able to bear it if you do, please don’t lose your memory please don’t” he said sadly

He can feel hot tears about to escape his eyes but he fought it back, his eyes are glassy with tears already but he stood his ground, he didn’t let the tears fall, he sniffed lightly and smiled sadly

“If you lose your memory and can’t remember me anymore, what will happen to me?, How will I handle my heart?” He said…

He stood and and climbed her bed, he slept beside her and ran his hand on her cheek slowly

“Please wake up soon, wake up as soon as possible” he said then kissed her forehead

Pearl is at the door, watching everything silently, she actually came to secretly see what’s happening only to see the disheartening scene, she heard every bit of what he said and can’t help but feel heartbroken

She’s aware that right now he’ll surely think it’s her whereas she has never even started with her

She left the hospital furiously and drove straight to the hotel the students lodged in, she sighted Doreen at the reception, talking to one of the receptionists, she rushed to her and punched her face straight, Doreen fell heavily, bleeding from the mouth

The receptionist widened her eyes in shock

Pearl bent beside Doreen who’s shifting back in fear

Pearl’s face spits anger and she looks scary

“Dog, where’s your master” Pearl said

Of course, she’s Jenna’s dog so she knows just what Pearl is talking about

“Room…room 34” said and Pearl stood, she walked to the room and hit her leg on the door, breaking it in the process

She went in just when Jenna is just coming out of the shower in only her towel

“Are you here to thank me for a job well done?” Jenna said but Pearl ignored her question and walked to her, she grabbed her towel and pulled it off her body

“Holy shit!, What the hell!” Jenna screamed

Pearl pushed her to the bed and came on top of her then she started hitting her naked body allover

“You crazy b*tch!, Shameless whore!, B*tchy slut!, If you feel like making trouble then make if for yourself!, Don’t make troubles for me you worthless prostitute!” Pearl said angrily, dealing Jenna’s naked body with heavy punches

Jenna’s hurtful cried rented the whole room as Pearl continued hitting her, Jenna’s body is red allover as a result of the heavy hitting right now

“You poured the water and now every bloody one of them think I did and now Kingsley is by her side again!, He’s busy professing love for her in her unconscious state!, You’re an idiot!” Pearl ranted, pouring all the anger meant for Jewel on her

The students all rushed in at once and it was difficult to take Jenna from her, Jenna is almost lifeless

Pearl was forcefully taken out of the room and when she saw the cops coming, she escaped through the elevator and got down before anyone, she drove off in her car while Jenna was taken to the hospital for treatment

“Richmond” Love suddenly called when everyone is already returning to their rooms

“Yes?” He replied

“You know something about Pearl you’re not telling me?” She asked

” No” Richmond replied awkwardly and started walking away

” Are you sure?” Love asked

“Yeah” he replied and left, leaving Love in her confusion.

Bar**

“You also get drunk like Veera?, That’s bad” Jasmine said behind Romina who’s busy ordering for wine

“It’s wine, not alcohol, Jewel is in the hospital so I’m not in the mood for alcohol” she replied, taking her seat

Jasmine sat in front of her and got a cup too

“Pour me a glass” he winked

Romina smirked before pouring him a glass and they drank together silently

Romina took her bottle of wine and made to go…

“Going in already?” He asked

“Yes” she replied

“Stay, let’s drink till midnight, I really can’t sleep” he said

” Is that my problem?” Romina said

“I said please, I just need someone to talk to” he said seriously

“Call one of your f*ck mates” Romina replied

“There she goes…..ok you can go” he replied, looking away

” Eish!, How short tempered” she said and sat

He looked at her and smiled

“So what are we talking about?” She asked, rolling eyes at him

” A lot, I have a lot of gist, let’s drink first” he said, dipping his hand in his hair

Romina looked away and he smiled.

Three days later, a Tuesday evening**

Kingsley is the only one left with Jewel at the hospital, the others has left for Seoul since Sunday since they’ll have to go to school and Kingsley insisted that they should leave

And as for Love, she had to go in order to avoid suspicions from their parents cos they never wanted them to know about it so they won’t have to worry, she told them Jewel is on a group trip to Busan

Pearl has refused to talk to her since their arrival at Seoul and she’s as disturbed as hell

Luckily Jewel is responding to treatment and the doctor is assuring Kingsley that she’ll soon wake up

Tommorow is Kingsley’s birthday and it’s saddening his heart that maybe she might not wake up till then, he’ll have to celebrate his birthday with unconscious Jewel

He just finished speaking with Richmond and Jasmine on the phone, Love, Romina and Veera did a group video call with him not long ago and he had to come out to speak with Jasmine when his call rang

He just finished speaking with Jasmine and he held the rails at the back of the building, holding it tightly

“Please wake up…. please wake up please” he said as if he’s talking to her

It’s been four days now and he misses her insanely already, the tears he has been preventing from falling finally fell from his eyes

He heard movements behind him and slowly turned back, just like a dream, Jewel is standing some meters away from him, staring blankly at him

He rubbed his eyes with his palm to be sure it’s not a dream but she’s still there

“Jewel” he mumbled, walking slowly till he got to her

He looked at her face and she stared back, not smiling, not frowning, just blank

“You’re awake?, Jewel” he said but she still won’t talk

The fear that she forgot him already almost got him killed that moment

His tears rushed out in heavy flows

“Do you…. know me?” He asked

She just kept staring, not uttering a word

“Do you….. Know me?” He asked again but she still won’t talk

” Jewel please talk to me!” He said loudly, holding her face and breathing heavily, he’s still crying

” Idiot ” Jewel said, blinking slowly like a doll

” Huh?” He said surprisingly

“How can I forget the only jerk I know” she said and smiled cutely

” You…you know me?” He said

” Kingsley Brown?, The Casanova?, one of The Kings?, Son of the great Bianca and Kay Brown?, My one and only jerk, which one are you” she smiled

” You remember me” Kingsley smiled despite the tears in his face

“My memory is still intact, no damages” she said and he immediately poured wet kisses allover her pretty face, making her giggle and blush at the same time

He finished up and hugged her tightly as if she’d run away if it’s not tight enough

She hugged him back, interlocking her arms behind him

“I’m glad you didn’t lose it….My witch” he said, stroking her hair gently and he eventually kissed it fondly.
