Jewel’s eyes won’t stop widening as she watched Richmond feeding on her lips with his eyes closed, it’s too shocking cos she wasn’t expecting him to do that

The worse she’s expecting is a kiss on her hand but now this?

She tried to push him away but that only made him hold more tightly unto her waist, his hands gripped her waist more tightly and that made it impossible for her to break free

She tried raising her legs but their closeness won’t allow that, then she started hitting his chest with her free hands just to make him leave her but he still didn’t

Kingsley watched without taking his eyes off the stage all along, he folded his fist on his chair arm before standing up, concluding that it’s not making sense, he left the hall immediately and Pearl followed when she saw him

“Richmond is f*cking crazy!” Veera said, still watching the kiss on stage

“Poor Jewel” Love said

Everyone is still shouting shockingly, screaming Richmond’s name as the real guy

Richmond only released her when he felt like doing that though he felt he can’t get enough but he reluctantly parted his lips from hers

They’re both breathing heavily and Jewel’s eyes is so red as a result of the struggle and in the red eyes, there’s surely anger

She never hesitated to punch him in the face though it didn’t have effect on his face, he didn’t bleed

“Jewel….” Richmond said calmly

“I…hate you” she said seriously and left the stage

” Seems like our miss hottest is mad at our Mr hot, sort it out guys, I’d love to announce that your pictures will be in front of the school as the school board as our faces, we’re proud of you two” the MC said as Jewel left the hall and Richmond followed

He caught up with her by the car park and held her but she freed herself from his grip

“Don’t touch me Richmond!” she snapped

“We both know it’s not wrong, the MC said we should do something romantic right?, A kiss was the first thing I thought of” Richmond said

” A kiss?, With a girl who hates you?” She said

“Hate me?” He said

“It’s obvious” she replied

” Why would you hate me” Richmond replied

“I hate all playboys” she replied

“why?” He asked

” I just hate everyone of you guys” she replied

” You think we’re playboys without reasons?” He said, his expression changing from serious to hurt

“No one should be a playboy because of a dumb reason” she replied

” My reason is not dumb!, Stop talking as if you know me well!” He yelled

“I wouldn’t have done that if you hadn’t kissed me!” Jewel yelled back..

” Yes I kissed you because I wanted to!, I….”

“Why would you want to kiss me you freaking playboy!” She yelled

” Cos you’re different” he replied

” Of course I’m different from all your f*ck mates!, You guys can even f*ck your mothers if care is not taken” she said and Immediately regretted it

Richmond looked at her for sometime as she breathed heavily, avoiding his gaze

“Thanks” he said quietly before getting in his car then drove out of the place

Jewel decided to wait for the girls inside the car and Immediately she entered the car, she started regretting what she said earlier.

“Kingsley wait up!” Pearl said, rushing after him just when he’s about to enter the car

He looked back at her and his face remained expressionless

“Yes?” He said

“Are you ok?” She asked, looking at him straight in the eyes

“Did someone tell you I’m not ok?” He replied

“No, you know, your arm bled during sports and….”

” Oh, I’m ok” he said and made to enter his car but she held him

He looked back at her questioningly but before he could process what it means, she hugged him dearly

“What the hell” he said

“Kingsley I really can’t bear to see you hurt” she said but he pushed her away from himself

“Where’s your pride? ,I think you told me to stay away from you and I’m perfectly doing that but now you’re getting clingy again and you know what?, I hate clingy girls so bounce off” he said and entered his car, shut the door loudly and drove roughly out of the place

Pearl let out her tears and bent down there to cry silently

“He hates me” she cried.

“Tonight was entertaining!” Veera screamed as she got to the park with Love

Jewel came out of the car. “What’s entertaining about tonight?” She questioned

“Everything especially the kiss* Love replied

“You find that funny?, Come on girls it’s not funny” Jewel replied

“Richmond is…grrrrrrrr!, Crazy!” Veera said loudly and Love started laughing

” Do you know the reason for their playboy attitude?” Jewel suddenly asked

Veera got serious and inhaled

“Richmond’s first love once betrayed him for his best friend when he was in The UK, I heard he landed in the hospital and spent up to three months there as a result cos he loves Harriett very much, two months after he left the hospital, he started his playboy attitude, believing that all girls are betrayers and don’t deserve to be trusted, he made himself believe that girls are meant to be f*cked cos Harriett was caught saying she broke up with him cos he couldn’t f*ck her well” Veera said

” Whoa!, Pathetic” Love said

“What of your brother?” Jewel asked

“His matter is as a result of wrong advise from our parents, I don’t know if our parents are into drugs or something else but since we were younger, they kept telling him not to love, that girls aren’t worth love or trust, that they don’t deserve to be given his heart, he always takes their words serious and he fell into the trap, he believes girls are meant for f*ck and nothing else, my parents influenced him and that’s why I’m doing everything possible to make him deviate from the path he’s taking” Veera said

” Another pathetic story” Love said

” Sorry to say but your parents are great wackos” Jewel said

” You can say that again” Veera said seriously

“So what about Jasmine?” Love asked

“I really don’t know much about him, all I know is that he hates his brother and I think that has something to do with his playboy attitude” Veera replied

” Gosh!, So they all have a pathetic story, I feel sorry for them” Love said

” Where’s Pearl?” Jewel said

” I haven’t seen her since the party ended” Veera replied

” Me too” Love replied

” Girls” Pearl said, coming from behind.

” Oh cool, where have you been?* Jewel asked

” Somewhere around, let’s go home” she replied curtly and got in the car

The rest got in too and they drove home

Kingsley redressed his arm immediately he got home and surprisingly, he kept thinking about the kiss at the party

“That witch” he said to himself and when Richmond’s face appeared in his memory, he sighed

” First time he’ll be kissing a girl passionately after what Harriett did” he thought, standing up

” Does that mean he feels something for her?” He thought, pacing round the living room till Veera entered

“Big bro, tonight was awesome right?, The kiss was….”

“Stop.. talking about that” he interrupted

” But Richmond kissed…”

” Veera stop” he said and went upstairs straight

” what’s wrong with him?” She thought

The Hales**

The girls retired to their rooms immediately they got home cos Rosie and Beverly are already asleep

Jewel had a cold shower first and as the water streamed down her body, she closed her eyes to embrace it’s unifying calmness on her

“I wonder if he’s ok, Tha jerky nuthead” she thought silently

“And Richmond the kisser, I’m sorry, never knew you had such a past” she sighed

Leaving the shower, she returned to her room and sat on the bed. “I shouldn’t have said that to Richmond but…what can I do when he’s too annoying” she thought

Her mind went to Kingsley and she picked her phone then clicked on his number

“If you like, don’t pick up, I’m just trying to be nice” she said as she rang him

He picked up surprisingly.. when it has almost finished ringing though

They both kept quiet for the first two minutes before he spoke up

“Witch, what again?” He asked

“Did you go to the hospital?” She asked

“This again, no I didn’t and I won’t” he replied

” Now jerk, do you want me to teleport to your room and spank you?” She said

” Cos I refused to treat my arm?, Look I know I sustained the injury cos of you but isn’t this attention getting too much?, I’m chocking” he replied.

” Oh really?, Ok feel free to leave the arm till it rots, bloody f*cker” she replied

” How was the kiss with Richmond?” He suddenly asked and that made her heart skip beats, she has no plans to talk about it again, not with him

“Why would you suddenly bring that up” she replied

“Well you seemed like you enjoyed it” he replied

“Says who?, Well I have nothing to tell you jerk” She said

” Whatever, I won’t pick up the next time you call so delete my number witch” he replied and hung up

” He’s always hanging up on me, why do I feel like punching his arm right now and make it bleed more?” She asked herself and smiled before realizing.

“Jerky nuthead” she said and dropped her phone before laying down to sleep.

Next morning, Richmond’s mansion**

He woke up to the cold morning and had to put on a thick sweater before he could come out of his room

He got downstairs and sat on the couch then buried his face in his palm, feeling much headache

He drank much last night and his head is still throbbing as a result, strangely, Jewel’s words hurts to the bone

“You guys can f*ck your mothers if care is not taken” that line kept ringing in his head

” I’m not bad like that, Harriett made me into a playboy, it’s not my f*cking fault!” He yelled and stood again then broke the whiskey bottle on the ground

He hurt his palm in the process and it bled massively

“To hell with you Harriett!, To hell with you!” He yelled, crying slowly as his palm continued bleeding

He sat again and his tears continued falling. “Being a playboy isn’t what I made myself to be, it’s not my fault” he cried

” And now that I felt you’re different, why do you have to say something so hurtful” he thought hurtfully, sitting back on the couch and allowing his bleeding hand to continue staining the floor.

The Browns**

Kingsley had to quickly take pain suppressors to relieve the unbearable pain in his arm when he woke up but it didn’t work

It hurts a lot and tears escaped his eyes as he sat on the bed

“It hurts” he thought but going to the hospital is what he doesn’t want to do

” It’ll hurt if I’m injected, I don’t want to get injected” he thought as he entered the bathroom to take his bath, he came back clean after minutes and hurtfully loosened the bandage on the wound

He treated it himself again though self treatment is not working again, he dressed up in thick sweaters and jacket before leaving his room

His body is burning up and his eyes feels like there are fire packs in there cos it’s burning red too

He’s sweating even with the cold weather

Thankfully, Veera is not awake yet so it was easy to sneak out of the house

Jasmine’s call rang on his phone just when he’s just getting in his car

“Dude” Jasmine said when he picked

“If this is about the photoshoot again, then I can’t make it today again” he replied

” And what the hell is wrong with you and Richie,he’s saying he can’t make it to the studio too, are you guys trying to give up on modelling or is there something else attached cos I’m not understanding” Jasmine said

” Jax,..I dunno” he replied and hung up, with difficulty he drove to school and went straight to the school lodge then sat on the couch

He brought out his phone and Jewel’s number is the first in the call history

He made to delete it but stopped himself. “Witch, why are you always making me really feel like a jerk?’ he asked himself and smiled lightly

He clicked save and saved her as witch before sleeping on the couch, groaning in pains from his arm

The Hales**

Joey came home that morning and met Rosie waiting in the living room just preparing to go to the bar

“My Rosie” he said

“You ran into debt again, now what did you do with 200 dollars this time?, Gambling again?” She asked

” Yes darling!, I gambled on horse race again and….I won!, I won one million dollars!, Isn’t that great?, Your husband is awesome right?” He said

” Show me the alert” Rosie said

Joey brought out his phone and showed her the alert while standing beside her

Rosie held him and hit his arm

“Rosie…”

“Either you win or not, gambling was never a good thing and it’s never gonna be a good thing ” she said, glaring at him

” Rosie please, I’ve paid the loaners and they’re never gonna come after me again” he said and winked

Rosie tried to hit him again but he held her hand and kissed her directly on the lips

“Saranghe Rosie ( I love you Rosie)” he said, catching her off guard

” You just… kissed me?” She said, blinking

“Sure, my darling” he said and surprisingly, Rosie blushed

“Dad you’re finally back” Beverly said, coming out of her room with her sisters

*Yes, your dad won a million dollars isn’t that awesome?” He replied

Still blushing, Rosie left the house

“Either you win or lose, gambling is never good” Jewel said

” I’ll treat you guys to dinner tonight” he said

“Not needed” Pearl said

“Enjoy your money dad” Love said, going out with all of them

They went to the bar to help their mum till the evening when Jewel remembered she has an assignment to do

“Mr Joe gave me ten maths questions to solve” she said, picking her backpack which she took along while coming to the bar

“Ten?” Love and Pearl almost screamed

“I know I’m in trouble, don’t make me feel more bad” she replied and Love started laughing with Pearl

” F*ck you guys” she said and left the bar

The only silent place she can think of is school since it’s Saturday so she went there and choose the senior class for the assignment

She was able to solve seven out of ten and when she found the remaining three difficult to solve, she decided to leave it

She sat back on the chair and inhaled hard, thinking about Kingsley again

“Why is he refusing to go to the hospital?, Why is he so stubborn?, Gosh that jerk!” She said and continued to soliloquize till she stood and walked out of the class

“Richmond,… hope you’re ok” she thought and checked the time, it’s past seven and it’s dark already but she felt like taking a stroll round the school

“Yeah, the so-called Kings school lodge” she said and smiled knowingly while walking there

” I hope he’s not locked” she said, holding the knob and gently opening the door

“It’s not locked, whoa!” She smiled, stepping in and looking around

Just like an house but it’s interesting. “So this is the so-called school lodge” she thought and suddenly started hearing groans from behind, she looked back and is shocked to see Kingsley on the couch, crying and groaning in pains from his wounded arm

Her eyes widened as she rushed to him

“Kingsley” she called, making her feel somehow cos it’s the first time she’ll be calling him by his name

He kept groaning without opening his eyes but his ears recognized her voice

“I told you to go to the hospital you nuthead!, It’s getting worse!” She yelled and her hand mistakenly touched his body, it’s freaking hot! But he’s shaking as a result of cold and he’s sweating at the same time

“You’re running a high temperature, guess it’s turning to fever, you need to be treated” she said and stood, luckily she found a new napkin in the nearest restroom which she dipped inside water to place on his forehead before rushing out of the place

She went straight to the school clinic which is luckily opened anytime

“Kingsley Brown needs medical attention right now” she said to the first doctor she came across

” What’s wrong with him?” The doctor asked immediately and she explained everything so the doctor knows what to take along

He went with her to the lodge and Kingsley’s condition is worse, his breathing is not steady anymore

The doctor swung into action immediately, he first injected him with pain relievers that’ll calm him down then proceeded to treating the wound with the appropriate treatments before injecting him with sedatives

He slept off immediately and Jewel sighed when the doctor started packing up

“Will he be ok?” She asked

“Definitely, and he should come for the wound treatment everyday till it’ll fully heal” he replied

” Sure doctor, thanks” she replied

” You look responsible, not like one of his irresponsible girlfriends” he said

” I’m just his…. friend” she said

‘i mean enemy’ she thought in her mind

” Thanks for saving him, if he had passed out, it’d have been difficult” he said before leaving

Jewel bent beside the couch and smirked . “Jerky nuthead, I wonder why he refused to go to the hospital” she thought

She stood and walked around the house, it has three rooms upstairs, maybe a room for each member

A game room that’s too tempting, she sat and played almost every game before going back downstairs then she noticed they have a wine cellar too

“Luxurious life huh?” She smiled then sighted a marker on the center table, she smiled cos she knows just what to do with it

She picked it and went back to him then wrote jargons on his face, making sure not to leave a space, she smiled after completing it

“Jerk” she said and felt his temperature, it’s calming down already and he’s not shaking nor sweating again

She yawned loudly, a sign that she’s feeling sleepy

She placed her head on the center table and slept off

Next morning**

Kingsley felt better when he finally woke up, he took away the wet napkin on his forehead before sitting up then he saw Jewel sleeping with her head on the table

He can remember seeing her yesterday and for the fact that she called a doctor who treated him, he smiled but….he suddenly saw his reflection on the opened part of the center table

“My face, what the f*ck!” He said, checking it out properly with his phone camera

“F*ck shit!” He spat and made to wake her but when he saw the marker, he calmed down and took it

He smiled and went closer then started writing on her face too, more than she wrote on his face

“Witch” he smiled as he wrote and that woke her up

Her eyes widened when she saw him writing on her face

She snatched the marker from him and stood

“What the hell were you doing to my face!” She yelled with big eyes

“Same thing you did to my face witch!” He said

She brought out her phone and checked out her face, her eyes widened

“Come here” she said, going after him but he left his spot and she rushed after him

“I saved your ass but this is all you can do?, You’re so dead” she said, running after him

” Look witch, we saved each other so it’s over” he replied, crossing the couch

” Nothing is over you jerk!” She spat and climbed the couch and from there, she jumped on his back and pulled his hair

He tried to make her fall from his back but she clipped her legs on his tummy

“Get off me witch!” He winced

“No chance jerk, till I pull out all your hair!” She replied and pulled it harder

” Aarrgh, my head!!!!” He screamed

She laughed out loud as he screamed

She made sure to write all-over his neck and he kept trying to get her off but it’s Impossible

The door suddenly opened and Richmond entered the lodge.
