Alpha Dom and His Human Surrogate - Season 5 Episode 93
Henry nods and looks thoughtfully at the children. “Will you let me do some research, son?” he asks, smiling at them, “and get back to you?” I hate to be cryptic, but I want to make sure I’m right before I send you on a wild goose chase.
“I think it’s okay,” I sigh, bend down and take my daughter in my arms as Rafe turns around and starts babbling to Jesse, who gives a small happy squeal and starts laughing, reaching for his cousin’s arm. he shirt. “I don’t think I have the energy to listen to anything new right now.”
“You’re right,” Cora sighs. “We should let you rest a little. But…could I just…?
And I look up to see my sister clutching her hands to her chest, biting her lip, clearly dying to hold the baby but not wanting to force me to hand her over if I don’t want to.
“Cora!” She laughed, holding Ariel up, “of course you can!”
Cora sighs happily as she takes Ariel into her arms and murmurs sweet nothings to her. Of course, she used to hug Ariel, but this time she’s like an aunt, not like a doctor. “Hello, sweet baby Ariel,” Cora coos, smiling at her first niece as tears gather in her eyes. “I’m so excited to meet you!” She leans forward and kisses Ariel on the head. “I’m going to be your favorite,” she whispers.
“No way,” Roger responds, coming closer to study our little girl. “She’s going to be daddy’s girl, so her favorite clearly transfers to the closest uncle.”
Cora just rolls her eyes, but I smile, loving watching my family play and fight over who will love our daughter the most.
Cora and Roger take a few more minutes with Ariel before handing her to Henry, who rocks her gently while I rest my head against Sinclair.
“She is very beautiful, Dominic, Ella,” Henry says, looking at us with moist eyes. “How lucky you are.”

“We’re lucky,” Sinclair agrees, leaning forward to take Rafe into his arms as he gets a little fussy with Jesse. “Little family of four. Sound familiar, dad?
Henry smiles at Sinclair, but Roger simply laughs and lifts his own happy baby into his arms. “You know that makes you the girl in that scenario, right little brother?” NôvelDrama.Org is the owner.
“And that’s a bad thing?” I ask, raising my eyebrows at my brother-in-law as Henry returns Ariel to my arms.
Roger laughs and blushes, instantly realizing his mistake.
“That all ends right now,” I say, pointing my finger at the men in the family. “Ariel is going to have enough problems growing up as Rafe and Jesse’s youngest cousin; I will not tolerate any comments about what she can and cannot do because she is a girl.”
Roger nods, smiling at me, agreeing to the plan. Sinclair surprises me, however, sighing and turning toward the windows. “As progressive as we would like to be,” he says quietly, “I wonder how pigeonholed she is by being a princess. The world will enjoy a tomboy princess for a couple of years, if that’s what Ariel turns out to be, but eventually… I think our darling girl will face a lot of expectations regarding pretty smiles, silk dresses and tiaras.”
I sigh and lean closer to him when I realize he’s right. Our Family Can’t Do Much: Ariel will get all kinds of messages about who she’s supposed to be from the rest of the world, as well as her family, just like the rest of us.
“We’ll have to do our best,” Cora says, nodding firmly, and I turn to smile at her.
“Actually,” Henry says, considering his voice. “Before you rest, Ella…”

“Well,” he says hesitantly, looking me up and down and clearly assessing how presentable I look, “they’ve been waiting out there for hours.”
“Oh,” I say, raising my eyebrows as I turn toward the windows and realize that Henry is right. Our people have been gathered for a long time, waiting to see you.

“She just gave birth,” Cora protests, holding out her hands, “She should be allowed to rest.”
“No, Henry’s right,” I say, struggling to sit up and swinging my feet over the edge of the bed. “Everyone has been very kind, wanting to see the baby…”
“She,” Cora hesitates, her voice worried about her. “Like her doctor…”
“As a magical self-healer,” I say dryly as I stand up, “I’m fine, Cora, to go out on the terrace for a moment. Will you help me put on something nice?
“Something nice?” She gasps, her eyes widening at the thought.
“Like a nice robe,” I say, rolling my eyes and handing the baby to Sinclair. “Honestly, this whole thing will take four minutes and then I’ll go back to bed.”
My sister rolls her eyes at me, clearly objecting to the plan, but three Minutes later I’m dressed in a pretty white robe, my hair neatly tied back, my crown placed on my head honestly as a practical quip rather than a serious one. accessory. My hair is not as put together as it has ever been and the crown doubles as a very useful headband.
Sinclair hands the baby to me and puts an arm around my waist, Rafe on his hip as we leave our room. As we walk down the hallway with Cora, Roger, Jesse, and Henry following close behind, I frown a little at Sinclair’s crown and then Rafe’s, which he surprisingly agrees to wear.
“Ariel is going to need a crown too,” he murmured, jealous of her. “She can have six, if she wants them,” my partner responds, smiling at me a little. “But if she’s as much of a tomboy as you project her to be, I don’t know if she’ll wear them.”
“It’s true,” I sigh, smiling at my little girl and placing another kiss on her perfect little head. “Be as feminine as you want, little princess,” I murmur, and she makes a restless little gesture on her face that makes me laugh as she sends sleepy vibes through our bond. “But yeah, you’re going to get some nice crowns. And mom will receive more, all the same…
“She’s fine,” Sinclair says, his voice dry. “This is starting to get expensive.”
“Don’t be stingy with us now, Sinclair,” I respond, nudging him with my shoulder as we reach the front of the palace, where the crowd is beginning to scream. The guards have already started lining up on the terrace, so they know something is up.
“I never would,” Sinclair sighs, moving his hand from my waist to my shoulder and leaning in to press a quick kiss to my mouth. “Ready?” he asks, looking at me, at Ariel and Rafe, at our entire little family.
“There,” I say with a nod, reaching out to quickly run a finger along Rafe’s perfect chubby little cheek. He squeals happily and bounces on his father’s arm, waving at me. He blew her a quick kiss before turning towards the doors.
Sinclair casts a quick glance over his shoulder at his father, and at the duke and duchess with his son, and then, smiling, opens the double doors. Together, we all go out.
