A LITTLE TOUCH OF ROSE - EPISODE 24

Zedekiah’s standpoint

I locked my car as I chuckled, my phone between my ear and shoulder. Mom was babbling on and on about the beautiful wedding dress she saw and may or may not have bought. And then the nice restaurant reservation she may or may not have gotten for me and Rosita. And also, the bags of beautiful and sexy night clothes, skivvies and lingeries she may or may not have bought. And she also may or may not have stuffed my house with different kinds of condoms, contraceptive pills and aphrodisiac pills and drinks to help push us further. She certainly may or may not have already blabbed to my father that Rosita sent me a car with the similar stuff animal I won for her, only that mine was white and had her name written on it chest with a rose crossing it.

Yeah, Rosita sent me a car. I wasn’t expecting it, not one bit. But on Sunday morning, almost noon time, a car similar to hers but white, was delivered to me. Mom was around, unfortunately. We were both confuse on who would send me a car. The soldiers guarding the house made us go inside and when one touched the door to make sure, the car spoke. I can still remember the shock.

“No authorised handling. Seek permission from Master Zeddick,” and I knew instantly who sent it. Mom seemed to know too because she ran out shrieking and jumping and then rubbed herself allover the complaining car.

“If authorised handling should persist, I would have to shift to defense mode,” it warned. I had a feeling it was programmed to not blow off whenever any random person touched it until a particular limit. I had come out too and was standing and watching with mouth open.

Rosita Donahue, the girl I thought hate me and now know I liked, sent me a freaking cool car! The moment the shock washed off, I went bad. I love cars, and the car was freaking cool. I don’t even remember how I ended up in nothing but my pants as I screamed and hugged my new wicked baby. After jubilating with mom for over thirty minutes–mom was screaming for something else entirely–I opened the car and saw the toy in the driver seat. It also had a rose in it mouth and rose gold eyes to match her real ones.

I pulled the rose out and it immediately sprayed me with glitter. It didn’t matter. My heart had gone wild with her kind gesture and the fact that I was receiving green light. It made me feel like she felt the same way too and was trying to tell me to make a move. And I planned to.

So, since mom was there and saw the huge smile plastered on my face, she just assumed we had started dating. And before twenty four hours, she already bought a wedding dress and all the things I earlier mentioned. Dad sent me a PDF file on how to lure a woman into your bed on your first date. And her father sent me a thousand page of how he would murder me if I laid a finger on his daughter without making sure I actually love her. I had to wait three months before kissing her, five before holding her, and a year before sleeping with her. It also consisted of how he would murder me if I break her heart and more threats that scared the shit out of me. And at the end, he just typed: “psych! Wish I could have seen your face, ha! Fucking wait for a month to fuck my girl and I will fuck your ass with a bullet! Get the sex thing over with already so I can move on with my life! But if you need extra tips, I’m always here for you. You know, as the babe magnet”. And he winked.

He scared the shit out of me and then just added that because he thought it was funny. I would never understand our parents and their obsession to get us together.

“Okay, I’m sorry, but I may or may not have ordered a suit for your first date,” mom continued her list of may or may nots.

“Mom, I may or may not feel like killing you right now,” I said playfully, though with a serious tone.

“Hey! That’s what Braylin said!” She shrieked. Brayleigh is the twins’ mother, but mother never pronounce her name right.

“Mom, don’t over do it and freak me out of it, or do you want me to change my mind?”

“No! Don’t! Don’t change your mind after so long! I promise, I won’t interfere again,” she shouted with despair.

I smiled, I was pulling her legs but she didn’t need to know that. “Thank you,”

“So, may I or may I not tap the pretty buy button winking at me right now? I may or may not be ordering shoes from France,” she said with a giggle.

“Mom,” I called blankly.

“Fine, I will not buy it, even if it’s so beautiful and goes so well with the leather jacket I may or may not have just bought,” she said with a childish annoyance.

“Mom, stop may or may not doing things!” I shouted. She scoffed and murmured childishly before screaming out of nowhere.

“I told Alyssa you and Rosita are dating now and you can’t make me take it back! In your face, Zeddy!” And she blew raspberry at me before hanging up with a witch cackle. I brought my phone down and smiled at it. That would explain the three hundred missed calls from Alyssa and the hundred messages. I thought she was going to whine about how much she missed ruffling my hair or something utterly stupid.

“Fuck men! Is this your new ride!” I raised my head from my phone with my smile still plastered to my face. Odin, Dean and one other guy I don’t know, were standing there gaping at the car.

“Shoot me! This is a new model from D-Motion!” I looked over my shoulder to see Alvin and Cedric running their hands along the car as they gawked at it. Of course, Rosita’s company was divided into different branches with different names. D-Motion was the name of the part that handled all the making of cars, motorcycles, buses, anything that transport people. The other was D-Tech which handle the making of the super cool technology they make and sell, mostly connected to D-Arms, the security company. There were three others, but I never cared enough to know.

“Freaking hell! I’ve never seen this model before!” That was Isaac. Sakura stood behind him with arms folded as she stared at the car with less interest.

“You guys are going to get yourself killed,” she spoke, “the car is set to electrocute strangers,” not more than a second later, the guys touching the car jumped away with a scream. “Warned you.”

“How did you know?” Dean gushed.

Sakura shrugged and looked at me for confirmation. I nodded. I was more than proud to let them know Rosita bought me the car. “It’s an unannounced model, a specially ordered made one. I know this because I was sitting right across her when she made the order for it. This car ought to be for my brother,” she frowned at me.

I grinned. “I’m sure she will get him a better one when he turns sixteen,”

Sakura smiled, “Neesan is so cool, isn’t she?” Then she frowned, “but why did she give it to you? She told me she would return it and tell them to add it to their next reveal so she can get her money back,” she peered at me suspiciously.

“I don’t know,” I shrugged, “I told her I love hers and she sent me this yesterday,” her eyes began to glow with excitement.

“Can someone tell us who is the her that sent him a car? I need to marry this girl so she will send mine!” Jake shouted.

“Rosita,” I said, sending a smug look to Alvin and Cedric who were posing to take photos with the car. They instantly snapped their neck around, so fast they both winced.

“Wait! She sent you a car and not me! What am I her big brother for?!” Odin shouted outraged.

“Wait, the white haired? I thought she was a commoner?” Another of the unknown asked.

“And thinking about it now, why did Thing Four come out from you guy’s SUV?”

Isaac shot him a dirty and disgusted look. “Don’t you ever call my girlfriend a thing again,”

“Girlfriend?” The same guy gasped and looked at Cedric who was still staring at me with mouth wide open. “Cedric, you are okay with him dating a commoner?”

“It is my business, Koda, don’t interfere,” Isaac warned, shooting them all a similar glare before grabbing Sakura and pulling her along with him out of the parking lot.

“I always knew Rosita was rich, but I didn’t know she was this rich to order a special car to be made,” Odin said with incredulous eyes and tone. “Zedekiah, whose daughter is she?”

I smirked at him, swung my keys around my finger and walked out, leaving them hanging to curiosity. I’d never felt so much pride before. My girlfriend… Betrothed bought me a car. That was cool!

It was an hour left to lunch time. I hadn’t seen Rosita in class so I could thank her, so I hoped she would be there. I was impatiently tapping my foot as I watched the time tick slowly. I could have gone to class, but I couldn’t bring myself to concentrate. I was swimming in bliss and excitement. I still couldn’t believe what she did for me. Throughout the day, guys just kept talking about the car and wondering who owned it.

Of course, at a point, Yuki intentionally asked me if she could ride my new car and the gasp that left their lips was satisfying. Though I didn’t let them know it was Rosita. I wasn’t sure if she wanted me to tell them, even though I already foolishly did.

“Zedekiah,” I turned my head from the wall clock to the pest entering the lounge. She had a irritating smile plaster on her face. Sora waltzed in and sat down next to me. I shifted away on instinct.

“What do you want?” I sighed.

“To show you something,” something about her smile was unnerving. She pulled out her phone from behind her and placed the video displaying.

My blood went cold the moment the familiar scene clicked in my head. My eyes flew wide with shock and panic as it all dawned on me. I knew she was nasty, but not to this point. She pulled the phone away from me with a wicked smile and stood up.

“Wh…wh…wh…what are you going to do with that?” I stammered with fear. “You can’t post that, you’ll ruin us both,”

“I’m aware, and that’s why I won’t be doing so,” I let out the breath I didn’t know I was holding, instantly relaxing as the tension left my shoulders, “but I may or may not have sent it to Rosita. Let’s see how she reacts to this, shall we?” My lips shook as I stared at her in absolute horror and panic. She laughed as she walked out, satisfied by what she knew she did to me.

I knew it!

I knew she would do something and I dreaded it. Every excitement I was feeling and the hope that Rosita might warm up to me faded away and replaced itself once more with my depression, guilt, sadness and regret. And once again, I was faced with the reality that I may or may not have lost her forever.

Again.

Rosita’s standpoint

Monday afternoon, I flew across the hallways like a gazelle. I wasn’t running, just walking very fast and gracefully. I had to take an Uber to school because Sakura still hadn’t come home from relishing in her love. Mom had already dug her grave and carved her headstone herself. She was so screwed, and she didn’t even know that yet.

It was almost lunch time. I had avoided everyone as I was too furious to talk to them. I wasn’t just hurt by the fact of Zed sleeping with someone, I was pissed that the person was Sora, she was going to blackmail him and me emotionally and ultimately, by the fact that I was hurt by him sleeping with someone else. I mean, why the hell would I be hurt? Why should I fucking care!

I wasn’t going to deny the fact that I liked him, it has always been unavoidable. I’m not stupid enough to shove my feelings down like he did. However, I was so sure my feelings for him had stop after all these years. I intentionally replaced it with well deserved anger.

So what the hell happened to my years of training my mind to work over all fucking matters!

There are some things the mind can’t control.

Not now, subconscious.

I was also pissed that I was happy that he now acknowledge his feelings for me, and the fact that Sora had a whole night of hearing my name leave his lips. It was tearing me apart with joy. I hated the joy.

“Rosita-chan!” I heard Yuki shout.

“Not now, Yuki, I have a bitch to deal with!” I shouted back. It didn’t take her longer than ten seconds to fall in step with me.

“Let me guess, Sora?” I looked at her from the corner of my eyes, in time to see her shrug her shoulders carefreely. “She has been going around telling the female idols that Onii-san and her slept together last week. Moca was in the restroom when she was telling them and she showed them a picture she took after he fell asleep. That girl is incorrigible.”

“I am going to snap her like a twig,” I growled, “a freaking tiny twig,”

“You can’t beat her up, Oneesama, you can get expelled. Gempire is most likely to cover it up, but if any student should get a video of you beating her up, it would go viral and cause a big scandal, especially over Zedekiah. You have to remember that we are still idols”

“What did I tell you?” Romi barked in my ear. “The plan was to handle her quietly, not kill her!” Okay, so I changed plans after she sent me pictures of herself and Zed again, in the morning.

“I don’t plan on killing her,” yet. But if she continued, I may or may not be able to stop myself. “Stay back, Yuki, you won’t like the me you are about to witness.” She stopped walking with me, thank goodness. I made my way to Diamonds Lounge and stopped at the door where the bodyguards stood protectively.

My blood boiled more as their laughter inside reached my ears. “You should have seen his face when I showed him the video,” she laughed, “he almost had a heart attack.”

“I’m sure Rosita would leave now,”

“Men! I feel so proud of myself!”

Bitch!

“Move,” I growled at the bodyguards. They looked at me blankly. I didn’t have time to stand there and exchange nothing with them. So without thinking it through, I pulled the soporific spray out of my pocket and sprayed them all with one swift movement.

One was smart enough to pull out his gun, but I kicked it out of his hand and knocked the door open with his body. The spray also had the power to erase any memory that happened thirty minutes before the victim inhale it. I knew I was safe. And I knew Romi was already erasing the footage.

The girls screamed when their huge guard fell through the door. I stepped over him and walked straight to frightened Sora. I was annoyed and my death glare was gleaming in my eyes. I didn’t bother hiding it. I fucking wanted her to see it. I pulled my glasses off for more effect, pulled my phone out, played the video and turned it over to her face.

I smirked as the horror appeared on her face. Her voice was loud and clear in the video and the guy was nothing like Zedekiah. I took my phone back and tilt my head. “Next time, don’t send a witch a message she can use against you.”

“Please, don’t upload that, I beg you,” she cried with fear.

“Then stay the hell away from me and my business. Stop trying to find out my biography, stop trying to annoy me and stay the hell away from what is mine!” I screamed into her face. “Zedekiah and I have been betrothed to each other from birth, from the very moment my father found out I was a girl. I will not let you step in and try to ruin his life, happiness or give him a hard time! Stop everything you are doing or I swear, I will end you, Sora, completely. Delete the video from your phone, everything you took and stay clear or else,”

“She will stay clear, I promise,” Mimi pleaded. I stepped away from her, growling like an animal as hate flash in my eyes.

“You all better keep your mouth shut or I will make sure you never speak again. I’m sure you wouldn’t want your secret of taking drugs to leak out,” I smirked at the third one and then looked at the second, “all of your dirty little secrets. So if you want to remain Diamonds, better keep your whore away from my boyfriend!” I turned around and walked out. I wasn’t joking, I would kill her.

“Romi, track down the frequency of the video, every duplicate, every single copy, and delete it from the face of the earth. Hack into her phone, computer, emails, cloud storage, every single possible place she has store it, and delete it. No one is hurting my boyfriend as long as I am around.”

Did I just use boyfriend?

“Rosita!” I stopped on my track as I heard him shout my name. I turned my body slightly and looked at him staring at the bodies of the guards on the floor. Yuki was behind him, along with Odin and Darra. She must have ran to call them.

“What did you do?” He asked with wide eyes, while staring at the crying girls inside. I did frighten them with “the eyes” a lot.

“Like I said, no one gets to make you suffer except me. Next time, Grimshaw, make sure a fucking camera isn’t watching your every move when you decide to fuck a whore. Happy birthday in advance.” I spat out venomously, whipped myself around and stomped out.

I knew he forgot his birthday was the coming Sunday. He always forgot. Reasons why it was so easy to pull a surprise on him. I wanted to send him my own car, but then I remembered his birthday and gave him one of the cars I never use. To him it was cool, but it wasn’t even as cool as mine. The only cooler thing about the car was it design. It appearance made it look like it caused millions of dollars.

I sent it overnight, even though I was still angry. But the best thing was that for the first time since I met him, I was going to give him a birthday gift with him knowing it was me.

Rosita, you are seriously fucked up.

Sakura’s standpoint

Swimming, I was swimming in the ocean of love and happiness. For the first time in my life, everything felt like it was falling in place. Mom told us she met her daughter through Zedekiah, and our older sister was very nice and sweet. She however said something about her rang a loud bell, but maybe it was just her father’s resemblance. She was so happy, especially as she spoke to the daughter on phone now. But of course, after telling me the good news, she told me to come home and enter my perfectly dug grave.

I dreaded returning home, but I honestly wasn’t worried. It was worth it. Isaac promised to follow me home so he would plead on my behalf. He was the one who begged me to stay for the weekend as he couldn’t get enough of me and I certainly didn’t mind how many times we slept together. Meena was generous enough to give me the spare pills she had since Isaac didn’t regularly use protection.

Best weekend, ever!

All day, Isaac held me the entire time, not even caring who was watching or who questioned him. He even made one of his bodyguard follow me around, but then stopped him after I pleaded that it was weird. He was determine to prove to me that he wasn’t embarrass of me and wanted the whole world to know about me. It really was sweet.

“Thing Four!” I rolled my eyes at who called me. I turned around to see who was calling me with a blank expression on my face. It was five girls and a boy, and they looked angry.

“The name’s Sakura,”

“No one cares,” he scoffed. I sighed uninterestedly.

“Is it true that Isaac-kun is dating you?” I stared at them boredly.

“I owe you no explanation,” I turned my head back to look ahead.

“Don’t ignore us,” one snapped, “tell us what makes you think you can use our Senpai to boost your image!”

“I don’t need to use him, I already have a freaking rich older sister,” I pointed at the car Rosita gave to Zed, the car students were gathered around and taking pictures, “see that cool car over there? It belongs to Zed-senpai and my sister bought it for him as a early birthday gift.”

“That’s impossible! She is just a commoner like you pretending to be rich!”

“All of you,” I turned back around at Neesan angry voice. She stood behind them and she looked like a bull ready to gouge them down. They all turned to her and immediately their eyes fell on hers, they began trembling. I held my hands so it wouldn’t shake as much as my body did. Neesan was angry.

“Get lost,” she spat. They immediately scurried off. Neesan watched them until they disappeared. I swallowed the lump in my throat and walked closer to her.

“Neesan, why are you angry? Is everything alright?” I asked shakily, “you are scaring me,”

She exhaled from her lips as she ran her hand into her hair, messing it up. She had crushed her glasses in her other hand. “I’m sorry, My Blossom, I just don’t know what to do with myself. I’m very frustrated at myself and angry that I can’t let it out. Forgive me?” She asked the last part as she pulled me into a hug. I exhaled as the fear left me.

“Do you wanna tell me why you are so angry?”

“No, talking about it would only make it more real,” she murmured.

“Oneesama!” I jerked away from her hold from the loud screech. I was barely out of her arms before someone flung herself on Rosita’s back, wrapping her legs and hands around her neck and waist. “Oneesama! Oneesama! Oneesama!” Yuki kept on squealing.

Rosita chuckled. She didn’t even stagger when Yuki jumped on her. “Yuki-chan, won’t you get down?”

“Īe, onesama ga daisukidesu.” She said as she giggled. (No, Oneesama back is so good)

“Yuki…”

“Shikashi, watashi wa anata no imōtonanode, anata wa watashi no sewa o suru hitsuyō ga arimasu,” (But I’m your little sister, so you ought to take care of me) she was so excited as usual. “Oneesama! Oneesama! Oneesama! Oneesama!”

I laughed at her weird chant. Rosita sighed with a smile. “Nanumpa ako, malinawon ang akong kinabuhi kaniadtong Altansarnai ra ako,” she said with another language. (I swear, my life was peaceful when I was just Altansarnai)

“Huh?” Yuki asked. Rosita shrugged. “Oneesama, let’s go to this new park and ride the black dragon! Please, please, please, I want to ride with Oneesama!”

“If I agree, do you promise to get off me?”

“Īe, watashitachiha nokori no eien ni soshite eien ni soshite eien ni soshite eien ni soshite eien ni soshite eien ni soshite…” (Nope, we are stuck together for the rest of forever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and…)

“Okay! We get it!” Odin who I didn’t see coming said as he adjusted her skirt to cover her thighs. “So, are you going? I may or may not have bought a lot of tickets,”

“I thought Zed-kun is the one who ordered for the tickets to calm Onee… Oomph!” Darra grunt at the end as Meena nudged his stomach. Rosita’s eyes twinkled with excitement before she hid it.

“Can I bring my little sister? She’s very excited,” I pleaded. If I could get Bloom to go to a nice park, I could pretend Isaac got it so it would lessen my punishment. Rosita looked at me and smirked, knowing my plan.

“Mom isn’t really mad, is she?” I asked with fear. She wiggled her brows.

“She may or may not have carved your headstone,”
